With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
FLORA SELWYN has caught the quaffle and is speeding towards the Gryffindor goal posts. Gryffindor players have until Thursday 17th of October at 6pm GMT+10 to intercept her or she can throw for a goal.
Cooper was beyond pumped to play Gryffindor, because he needed to get a win. It was already embarassing that they lost to Hufflepuff, and he wasn't about to loose to the barbaric baboons in Gryffindor. The Slytherin had immediately put himself into play when the whistle blew and he had put his gloves on. The male was ready to do this and he had been watching the game intently. Knowing that he had been in many words more than likely been a bit of dick.
The Slytherin had eyed the Young siblings hoping they didn't try to pull anything. Since he was not about it and didn't feel like getting himself beaten out of the game. He already had plans to do something to the Hufflepuff beater, and he didn't mind putting two on his list if it was needed. Giving a look the Slytherin smirked to the nearested Gryffindor, "I hope you flying Lions are ready to be pummeled." he said with a dark chuckle.
Just after he saw that he saw Raouf throw the ball to one of them, and he went for it. Only to be beat by Flora, and he decided to give her some advice. "Make us proud, Selwyn." he said. Even if he wasn't sure how she felt about him, because it was odvious that his sister hated him, and he knew they were friends.
This game was going not horrible but not well either. Ryker wasn't going to let the team down, she felt like their last game was the worst in history and like hell she would let her ass get handed to her by Narro the wanker. Her eyes were on the asshole when he taunted her and she rolled her eyes eyes so hard she wondered if it made a noise.
"Go hang out with your right hand, that's what you're best at!" she returned and hit a bludger towards Selwyn. She flew away from any direction Narro was at and just waited for her bludger to hit or miss, her eyes searching for the other one.
Flying lions? Flora raised a brow at her older team-mates pathetic attempt at proving the Slytherin stereotype of bad sportsmanship. Honestly, if Flora didn't have a ball held tightly to her chest right now she'd have half a mind to grab Cooper by the ear and make him apologise for the terrible insult. At least be creative, Flora had learned in her years as a Selwyn. Still, the quaffle was her main priority and the young woman shook her head to clear it of any distracting thoughts.
Just as the Selwyn was about to throw the ball towards the goals, the NPC Slytherin beater whizzed past her and batted the bludger headed towards her from that delightful Young twin. It had come so close, Flora had to grip her broom to stop herself over balancing. Fear struck at her core as she remembered the searing pain of the last bludger that had connected. "Thanks!!!" she finally called out and took the shot at the goals. Hopefully it would get through the hoops.

Raouf toss was true, and he gave his teammate a small upturn of his lips, which quickly turned sour as a bludger came racing towards her. Last game the other beaters had been quite competitive, and Slytherin's ones had almost been incompetent. Dio had even gotten a bludger to the face! He breathed a sigh of relief as she dodged it and took aim for the hoops. He drifted upwards a little, trying to be aware of any incoming balls or flailing Gryffindors.
This game will be VOIDED due to inactivity in a week if there are no further posts. Anyone who is deemed inactive within the game will not be considered for quidditch captain.

Elena was searching for the golden glint in the sky, feeling the cooling wind blowing through her pale ponytail. She was, admittedly, a bit frustrated but to be honest she needed this win. She was generally a good sport, but she was also extraordinarily competitive. She wanted this win, and was ready to take it. She noticed some movement, but nothing that she could readily chase as let out a breathe.
She looked to her team mates, keeping an eye out. They were hard at work below having scored. She clapped and cheered on Flora as she made the shot, " Atta girl, Flora! Way to go!" She called, mentally noting to give the girl a big old hug when she had the chance.

When the Gryffindor keeper threw the ball into the sky, Matheus was quick to catch it, letting out a small 'oof' as it connected with his chest. With the quaffle cradled in his big, strong arms (ones that under any other circumstance, he would have flexed at the crowd), the seventh year made his way towards the goals, leaning forward on his broomstick to gain momentum. This time, as he threw the quaffle towards the goal posts, Matheus was so focused on getting it through the hoops that he didn't bother trying to hit on the keeper. It was a shame really, given how fit he was. Maybe he could hit him up before they went to their respective locker rooms later, convince Raouf to join him in an after game shower... but for now, he had a job to do.
Raouf gave a nod of his head towards Flora's good work, his eyes catching sight of Elena who cheered their team member on. On the Slytherin team, Raouf had to wonder if the boys even cared enough to pull their own weight. Flora was the one carrying this game, and he wouldn't let her hard work down. He frowned as Matheus gained possession of the ball again, floating up the lower half of the top ring. His frowned as the beaters did nothing, but dismissed that thought from his mind. He was not their leader, he couldn't tell them what to do without upsetting the current Slytherin quidditch captain. This time as the ball flew towards a ring, Raouf shoulder barged it out of the way, sending it into the middle of the field- directionless. A chaser would have to catch it or it would plummet to the ground. Tags: FLORA SELWYNMATHEUS DELGADO
She missed the quaffle. No doubt she’d hear about how terribly she played the pathetic game from a certain someone - as Matheus grabbed the ball Flora sucked in a breath because that uniform of his hid nothing of his Adonis-esque physique. She was a quarter of his size - how the hell would she steal the quaffle from him?
The Slytherin chaser resigned herself to the fact that unless she played incredibly dirty - yes, she’d been taught a trick or two by her team mates - there was no way she was getting the quaffle back. She pressed her broom stick hard between her growing chesticles and zoomed up the pitch in time to support Raouf. ”Yes!” she called as the keeper blocked Mat’s shot - though, holy shit surely that broke something? And the quaffle plummeted to the ground.
Flora raced after the thing and caught it just a metre or two from the Earth. She quickly corrected her flight path so that she didn’t zoom right down into the grass neck first and sped off back towards the goals.
