With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
The sun was actually shining on this day where Gryffindor and Slytherin would battle for the third place position! There was a small breeze, not a large wind at all and the stands were filling up with students and professors ready to watch these kids play. There were even reports of scouts showing up but the players DON'T know about it. The coach gathered all the students, explaining the rules before releasing the quaffle!
Every single ball shot in the air and the game has begun!
This game is 7 vs 7 (with npc-able positions that can still be filled so check out the claims!), every move will be allowed to counter, you will post your character doing a certain action and another play has 48 hours max to respond before staff makes a decision. Decisions are made by the roll of the dice and the outcome will be completely random.
ex.
Ryker notices the other team's beater was about to hit her seeker so she raced towards the bludger aiming it towards Viola Rosaline instead.
Now Viola has 48 hours to respond whether or not she will dodge or get hit! Once she responds the game will continue! Other players can also intervene, its a free game but in the end give people time to respond to what happens to them! We love to have this move smoothly but everyone deserves time!
The snitch and bludgers have been released, the quaffle has been thrown up in the air, let the game begin!
Ulric had a special seat near the ground in order to aid whoever needed healing during this match. He watched as the stands filled up with students and saw how they soon turned into the four colours (red, green, blue and yellow), as everyone was wearing their uniforms and many of the Gryffindors and Slytherins had painted their faces in house colours. His hazel eyes scanned the Slytherin crowd, remembering being among them when he had been at school. He had always taken one of the highest seats together with his friends. They had often brought snacks with them and had nonchalantly put their feet up on the back of the lower seats and thrown popcorn at the younger students up front.
His eyes moved away from the audience as the players entered the field. Captains first, making their greetings, and then they were off in the air. Like small lightening balls they whooshed past him in red and green colours. Ulric was not a big quidditch fan, but he was forced to be here in case someone got hurt and needed medical attention. Although, meanwhile he yawned slightly and started studying his nails, not paying attention to who had the quaffle and who scored. Now and then he heard roars and “aww’s” from around him, but until someone needed a healer, he did not want to participate in the cheering.

This game was going to go better than the last one, Matheus was sure of it. He looked great this morning - okay, every morning, but especially this fine day. He knew he looked hotter too because he'd taken the liberty to check himself out in the mirror, flexing every muscle he could whilst giving himself one hell of a pep talk. His mãe, if she was there, would say he was showboating but no, Matheus was just setting himself up to win.
Mounting his broom, Matheus flew into the air, a light gust of wind rushing through his curls and making them flutter. Almost immediately, he'd taken ahold of the quaffle and with a determined expression, he flew towards the Slytherin goalposts.
MATHEUS DELGADO has the quaffle and is heading towards the goal posts with them. DIO GREYBACK, FLORA SELWYN or @cooper have until 9am Saturday 12th of October (GMT+10) to try and intercept him.
It was another day for Elijah, and he had sworn that if they lost this Quidditch game, he was going to bitch for the remainder of the school year. He was prepared to take down the Slytherin seeker as soon as the couch started the game, and he had chased down a bludger, hitting it straight at the Slytherin seeker before flying off. He had given his sister a thumbs up before he had circled around the pitch, looking around at his teammates, and eyed Mat with the quaffle. There was a slight smirk on his face as he watched his teammate.
”You got this man…” he had said before he moved around and focused on his task at hand. They needed to take this bitch down.

Say that Elena has been pretty bummed out about the loss to Hufflepuff would have been a vast understatement. When Elena wasn't hanging out with her friends most of her life pretty much revolved around her training. She didn't know yet if she wanted to go pro, but she knew that she loved it... And she didn't like to half-ass anything, especially the things she cared about.
The half-veela raise their hands to high-fived and pumped up her team as they prepared to head out (even to Cooper, despite the boy being a total dick after the last game they had against Hufflepuff). The one thing she had to remind herself was that she needed to have a good time the competition. She could be just a tad overly competitive...
She could only hope that at least her friends would show cheer her on and pump her up.
Elena flew out with the team ready for anything. While she had only briefly notice the other teams Seeker, he didn't go unnoticed. The boy had the same level of determination on his face, so she knew that this game was going to be no Cakewalk.
Dio was soaring around the field, keeping an eye out. They simply couldn't lose, that'd be the most embarrassing outcome. Fourth place was nightmare fuel. The thought alone was making him pissed and when Dio got pissed, shit went down. The game wasn't looking in their favor. The beater was quickly torn between two decisions: save the goal or safe their seeker. "Tsk, morons do your bloody job," he yelled at the chasers and keepers as he flew fast to hit the bludger away from Coldwater.

Making it all the way to the goal posts with the quaffle in his arms, Matheus took his shot, watching as it soared towards the left goal post. It'd be good if it got in obviously but seeing the fit keeper in action as he tried to block it? He wasn't opposed to that either.
MATHEUS DELGADO has thrown the quaffle at the Slytherin goal posts. RAOUF NASHAAT has until Monday 14th of September at 12pm (GMT+10) to block the throw or Gryffindor could score.
DIO GREYBACK has successfully hit the bludger away from ELENA COLDWATER. There are now two bludgers flying around the pitch, waiting to be hit.

In the time Elena went to dodge, Dio had managed to hit the bludger away from her. While she fully believed in team work, she wasn't sure what on earth was going on with her teammates. "Thanks, Greyback, " She flashed the blonde a wink before taking off, " Come on, Slytherin! Heads in it!" The half-veela exclaimed, hoping the rest would follow suit and get as fired up as her and Dio.
The blonde was keen and focused as she flew up a bit higher, finding a better point to look out from with a hum as she tried to find the bloody golden snitch all the while trying to avoid the oncoming bludgers. Luckily, Dio was one hell of a beater.
"Raouf! Heads up!" She shouted at the keeper as the quaffle came hurtling towards the goals. She knew she couldn't do his job... She just had to hope that the boy would stop it.

Raouf was determined to win this game. Slytherin had played a better game than Hufflepuff last time, he believed it was only sheer luck that they had won with their seeker. He had complete faith that Elena would do her job well and catch the snitch this time. He didn't have any sort of grydge against the Gryffindors but he did hope they were good competitors, if only for a fun game. He also hoped that the beaters would get their shit together and not get hit by bludgers this match. He gave a cursory look over at his team, as they rose into the air. It was a game of losers, pitted against each other for entertainment, but it would be enjoyable...he hoped. No more injuries.
Then, the game was off! Raouf narrowed his eyes on the quaffle ball, watching as Matheus navigated through the chasers and beaters and directly towards him. Barely hearing Elena, he loosened his tight shoulders and zoomed towards the ring the ball was aimed at. He caught the fast ball, a soft huff escaping his lips as it slammed against his chest. Raouf's eyes found one of his chasers and immediately threw it towards them. Tags: FLORA SELWYN @cooper
RAOUF NASHAAT caught the quaffle! FLORA SELWYN and @cooper have until october 16th 9 am GMT to catch it! Gryffindors feel free to try and undermine them!
Dipping her incredibly sweaty palms in some powder, Flora’s stomach was in twists and turns because of her near death experience late last year. In front of everyone. Merlin, Flora, what had she signed herself up for? The Slytherin girl had a cold sweat beneath her Quidditch uniform as she stepped out onto the field resolutely not looking for a certain know-it-all-cousin-sister as the balls were released into the air.
Hanging back, no longer fearless like her first game, Flora was dismayed at how quickly Gryffindor got the quaffle and sped towards the hoops. After a deep, calming breath she took off on her broom after the older students. ”Raouf! Yes!!!” she shouted as their keeper did his amazing job and blocked the goal. ”I’m open!” Flora’s ambitious Slytherin blood was beginning to pump through her veins now and she was ready to prove her worth on the team.
When the keeper threw her the quaffle, Flora’s surprisingly confident hands grasped at the ball. ”Merlin, merci!” she breathed as she took off towards the Slytherin’s goals. She did her best to dodge the huge Gryffindor players- she was small but slick - and the moment that she could, Flora would launch the quaffle up to through the goals!

Raouf, the fit keeper, had blocked the shot with a steely ambition in his eyes and Matheus let out a swear beneath his breath. Damn it. As the quaffle was thrown back towards the players, Matheus tried his very best to block the shot on his brand new broom - a bloody good apology from Evan Wood he'd received over Christmas break. It was Evan's way of saying sorry for his loose lips earlier in the year where he'd thoughtlessly blabbed to one of the Avery twins about Matheus' whole snogging fiasco with Leo Jordan. He had ended up outing the bloke in the process, something Matheus himself had been incredibly apologetic about because everyone deserved to come out on their own terms.
But unfortunately, his fancy new broom wasn't quite quick enough to get him to Flora Selwyn before she caught the quaffle. "Oi, Young!" he shouted, waiting for either Ryker or Elijah to reply before he jerked his head in Flora's direction. A well-placed bludger would stop her from getting to the goals, even quicker than he would as he raced forward, trying to move ahead of Flora in an effort to startle the quaffle from her hands.
