With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

to say josephine enjoyed her time alone was an understatement, these days she rarely got a minute to herself, between her siblings being home and her work load increases due to the attack at hogwarts, all she needed was five minutes between her and an ice cream, and florean fortescue's was the best place to wind down and ice cream was always a positive.
ordering her usual, josephine sat down in one of the booths, it was late at night - josephine found herself out at night much too often these days, it was the only time she had to herself, she could be out as long as she wanted, nobody questioned it, she was an adult now, after all, even if she didn't appreciate that fact enough - she could pack up and leave at any given moment and nobody could say anything about it.
being lost in thought, josephine didn't notice the person opposite her, god knows how long they were sat there, while josephine was slowly munching on the vanilla ice cream in front of her. "can i help you or are you just going to sit there?" she had asked, it sounded much ruder than intended but she was tired and it being almost midnight she didn't need to be stared down while eating her ice cream, though the other person seemed to have ice cream too.
Tag - Word Count - pls take this, josie needs someone to enjoy ice cream with
Colwynn was still relatively new to her new home. She missed New York, but London wasn't that much different. There were older buildings and more history, and more people recognized her dad from his glory days, but people were the same. She thought that people were the worst, either way, case in point, the man who had been following her ever since she'd parted ways with her father. She wasn't unaccustomed to creeps, being part veela and all (something she wasn't even aware of), but this one was especially persistent.
She did all the usual tricks. She never looked back, only checking to see if he was still there with reflections and sticking with crowded areas. She'd gone into Diagon Alley hoping that he was a muggle and she'd be able to lose him, but she didn't have any such luck. If she was old enough to do magic outside of school, then she would have cursed the pants off of him, but was avoiding a creep worth losing her wand over? Probably not.
Colwynn saw a young woman who she'd never met, but could easily pass as her sister eating ice cream in a booth, and she altered her course. She had been on her way to the bank, knowing that she could wait for the stalker out in her vault if she needed to, but if she could avoid the man tailing her and avoid annoying the goblins, she'd preferably do that. She ordered ice cream, not even thinking about what she was getting before she went to the booth with the stranger and sat down.
"Hey! Long-time no see!" she said to the older young woman, grinning and chatting like they were long-time friends, making a show of their reunion. "I'm so glad you got in touch. It's been far too long!" Then, through her teeth, she quietly said, "Someone's been following me, and I can't get him off my tail. Is it alright if I sit here?"
Erik was in town for the week and was wondering what he could do to pass his time properly, as he was passing the ice cream shop he looked in just for the curiosity that was Erik and saw that his younger sister was inside. Erik smiled before walking in to see she was with another girl as well. "Hey sis, how are you doing? How's the training going? I am so proud of you" Erik said as he got to the table. His little sister got gorgeous that much was for sure.

josephine was shocked to see her brother, she hadn't seen erik in a while, it was a surprise that was for sure, but definitely a welcome one. though her brother's presence distracted her from the girl momentarily, she focused on her again, "it's completely fine, please stay as long as you need and don't worry about being stalked - i'm an trainee auror, i'll handle it... unless you meant my brother then he most likely wasn't stalking you." josephine had tried to joke though maybe it wasn't the most appropriate thing to do.
josephine's focus was again on her brother, she had felt bad for talking to the girl before him but if she did have a stalker that was a bit more important. "i don't think i've had a decent sleep in months, they've got me on call and the thing with hogwarts shook me up too, olivia was seriously injured and it was chaos." maybe it was too much to say at once but she needed it off of her chest. "apart from my rant i'm so happy to see you, how are the dragons?"
