With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Colwynn was born in New York City and grew up there with her dad and her grandparents. With the death of her grandmother, her family decided to pack up and go back to the United Kingdom. She's currently living with her dad and grandfather and resuming her schooling at Hogwarts.
Colwynn is pretty introverted and doesn't have much of a reputation, aside from being considered a stupid American, which is ironic given her academic standing. She doesn't really have any friends or know anyone since leaving her home.
Ever since Freya was a little girl, she wanted to work with ancient things, finding them and learning more about the past. She always had a wide range of interests, however. Her mother is a muggle and was an Olympic athlete before she had married Freya's father. Freya learned gymnastics from her mother, everything she's ever needed to know about the magical world from her father, and ancient histories in her own time.
She was poised to be a curse breaker at Gringott's before she was bitten by a werewolf during the Christmas break of her seventh year and the attack changed her in more ways than one. Rather than endure the humiliation of being expelled, she dropped out of school and found her way to London. She was old enough to do magic outside of school at the time so, luckily, that wasn't much of a problem for her. It was easy to start working as an escort. She hates it, but it's better than going home and facing her parents, neither of which really had any stance on werewolves. They likely think she's dead, but that's, perhaps, best for the time being. To help make ends meet, she occasionally takes some things her clients don't need. Not always, just when they deserve it. If she wanted to she could probably make thieving into a full-time job, but she's not ready for another career change just yet.
Age: School: Ilvermorny, Thunderbird Werewolf - Rancher/Ranch hand
Marshall was born and raised in Louisiana. His childhood, needless to say, wasn't a happy one. His dad abandoned their family when Marshall's mom was bitten by a werewolf. After that, his mom dipped into a deep depression and, when Marshall was about ten, bit Marshall so that she wouldn't be 'alone'. Not long after this, Mashall's grandfather took his daughter to court and won custody over his grandson. It wasn't long after that that Marshall's mother killed herself.
Under the care of his grandfather, Marshall learned just about everything he needed to know about homesteading and ranching both magical and mundane animals and, despite having prospects to become an auror after he'd finished school, Marshall went back to work with his grandfather.
Marshall didn't move from America until after his grandfather made the choice to sell the ranch in Louisiana and buy a new ranch in Britain to be closer to family. Marshall went with his grandfather and worked the ranch up until his grandfather died in late 2018, leaving the ranch and his other effects to Marshall, his last of kin. Now, Marshall is working to get a handle over being the ranch's new owner and navigating life with the locals.
