With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

HISTORY
Colwynn was born to a veela woman who promptly abandoned her with her father. She's never asked who her mother was and doesn't have any real interest in knowing the woman. Even at a young age, Colwynn felt like if her mother wanted to know her than she would make an effort. Willa grew up in New York City, raised by her father and his parents. Her father was the guitarist in a band that was slightly popular in the 90's, but they were never famous or rich aside from a rare person recognizing her father on the streets.
Colwynn was about seven years old when her dad finally stopped touring with his band and bought his bar and brewery. Her father's band didn't have much success, mostly because they tried to build a following in both the wizarding and muggle world and it didn't work out according to plan. Colwynn didn't mind, though. That meant he had more time to actually be her dad. They never had much money, but they always had enough to get by.
When Colwynn was 11 she began her magical schooling at the wizarding school in America, excelling at most of her classes, save for potions. She always hated potions. At age 13, Colwynn's grandmother died. This was devastating to Colwynn because, unlike her British father and grandfather, her grandma was an American and one of her dearest friends. Less than a year later, her grandfather moved back to London. He'd only moved to New York because that was where his wife was from and she'd begged him to move there with her.
At the end of Colwynn's fourth year at school, she and her father had a long discussion about if they should stay in New York or go to the United Kingdom, where the rest of their family is. They decided to leave, not because Colwynn didn't love New York, but because she could tell that staying there and not having his parents around was hard on her dad. She's done all the preparations to go to her new school (her dad's old school) and now she's attending a new school, hoping to that the changes coming up in her life might have some silver linings.

Willa was the hottest of the ten hells, of that she was certain. She was a creature of the fjords and forests, accustomed to humid summers and white winters. It had been less than a day since they’d officially crossed into the desert and already she had thrown up twice and would have gotten lost several times if her teacher hadn’t been keeping an eye on her.
By the end of the day, the sun was gone, and with it, the hellish heat. The temperature was well below freezing, and most of the other squires were huddled around the bonfire, eating their soup with blankets on their backs. Willa, on the other hand, was perfectly comfortable.
She was the last to get supper due to her horse misbehaving. Willa had to make a separate hitching post far from the other horses to keep her mare from picking fights with the others. Dinner in hand, she intended to find her friends and sup with them, but when she’d found them, she decided that solitude would be better.
I’ll just go eat with the dogs and horses, Willa thought to herself as she headed for the pickets. They aren’t much for conversation, but at least they won’t ice me out.
