With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

HISTORY
"you're adopted doesn't that mean you weren't wanted?"
being adopted into the jones family was not something josefine often thought about, they were her family, they saved her from a neglectful muggle mother who tried to drown her child because she was different and showed signs of magic at a young age. her parents may not have been her biological parents but they raised her and moulded her into the josefine she became, the josefine that wanted to help everybody she came into contact with. thinking of her biological parents was not a common occurrence, she was made uncomfortable by the thought of what she may have became if she was raised by her mother. josefine supposes she would not have survived under those conditions.
as for a father, she had no knowledge of her biological one, she knew he was a wizard but nothing more, and if she came into contact with him she would have never known, perhaps he was dead or an unsavoury person, but as far as everybody knew robert and charlotte were her parents, they raised her and loved her, gave her a massive family which she would not have had if it wasn't for them. despite her whole family being adopted, josefine liked to consider them her blood family, she grew up with them, from the age of three, josefine had her perfect family.
"you cried but you never meant it and can't forget it."
hogwarts was truly a magical place, a place where josefine fit in and had many friends, and was made a prefect, though was not the head girl like most had expected of her, despite her popularity and amazing experience at hogwarts, she wasn't sad to leave, the majority of her friends were leaving with her, looking to the future, though josefine had a good future ahead of her, receiving all o's in her n.e.w.t's and wanting to be an auror, they said hogwarts were meant to be the best memories a person could have but josefine knew she'd create new ones, ones which could rival her school experience. despite being popular, josefine put pressure on herself to achieve the best, have the best grades, her siblings achieved great things, josefine would too.
when it came to leaving hogwarts, josefine was sad, though she didn't feel the need to cry, many of her friends cried, prompting josefine to turn into a sobbing mess, she would miss her friends, the life she had lived for the last seven years, the thought of growing up scared her, she couldn't fail in adult life, make mistakes or have weekend trips to hogsmeade, her childhood was coming to an end and josefine didn't know how to handle it, she hadn't fell in love nor made dumb mistakes but josefine had a lot of good memories, made with her friends she loved.
"your life is sweet like cinnamon. it's like a dream you're living in."
hogwarts was once a home, but josephine's home had always been where her family was and being in the ministry surely wasn't home, josephine had always looked up to her eldest brother so it made sense for her to also want to become an auror, though the process to get picked was much harder than josephine had expected, she wasn't going to give up, josephine was never a quitter and she certainly wouldn't be seen as that by anybody. she was not even eighteen when she had applied to the ministry, she was an unlikely candidate, people always thought she was delicate and treated her like porcelain despite her constant protests, she was a strong woman who could take on anything the world threw at her.
PLAYER
RP Alias: toni Pronouns: she/her Hogwarts House: gryffindor Other Characters: @tag Roleplay example:
avery hated christmas time, it was commercialised far too much for her own standard, nobody wanted to spend time with her nor did they answer their owls regularly. it also didn't help her birthday happened to be on such an occasion, decorations surrounded her house, though it felt empty, and like she was never noticed there, it also didn't help that her birthday wasn't until two days and she still hadn't heard from her friends, so her only thought was to eat away her sorrows at the ice cream parlour, sitting on a table by herself. it was quite a lonely sight, though that didn't bother her too much, the ice cream was nice and so was being alone for a few hours.
she had finished her first ice cream and had moved onto a milkshake, it was less sickly than one would imagine, she loved sweet things, often to the point she'd eat them to make herself sick, it was a recurring flaw, every time she went home she wasn't monitored and her in take of sickly sweet food increased, it also wasn't healthy for her. though the flavours were too nice, she had started out with a raspberry flavoured ice cream and had now moved onto a vanilla flavoured milkshake, in her mind she was allowed to treat herself, it was probably going to be the last time for a while.
it was getting late, though avery didn't mind, she had seen multiple people enter and leave the parlour, most of those people were unrecognisable, though had many different bags, which avery concluded they must have been last minute shopping, something which avery didn't have to do, her family didn't gift each other presents, avery was lucky if her parents remembered her birthday, she missed her grandmother, at least she wished her a happy birthday when they spent the day at hers. avery was too busy day dreaming to notice the person had asked her a question, she must have seemed quite ignorant. "may you repeat that, please?"
