With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

A party! Could life be anymore fun? Vi thought not, as she stood by her best friend with her bright lipstick and wearing her favourite pair of jeans. "This is going to be the bestest blow out in the whole wide world. "You look like an angel with the most perfect cutie patootie face in the whole wide world," she told Elena sincerely, a great big grin on her face as she wrapped one arm around her friend, giving her a cuddle.
After grabbing herself a drink as well, Vi tapped her chin in thought. Who would show up? That was a super duper good question. "Welll... I sent a itty bitty note to a few people. Like Flora and Felix and Celeste and Sam, the sixth year Slytherin, and I'm not sure if they invited anyone else but I sure hope so! This is going to be sooo much fun! I hope they start showing up soon!"
All they had to do now was wait for the others to start arriving, and Vi bounced up and down on her heels as she kept a look out.

Mounting her broom and squaring her shoulders, Vi let out an excited noise before she zoomed into the sky, heading straight towards the quaffle that had been thrown and catching it her hands. Yes, she'd done it! With a grin, she took off towards the blue teams Keeper's goals.

When the girl spoke again, Vi nodded with a smile before taking her hand, enthusiastically shaking it up and down and all around. "Rosie. I like that. Like the flower!" she said, grinning brightly.
Her grin only grew as Rose used lumos and shone the light on her hair, making the pretty copper tones flicker in the light. "Copper. I love it. Like super duper love it. it's all..." She waved her hands in the air, as though Rose would be able to somehow interpret what she was trying to say.
"Yes, artist! I guess technically I draw a rough sketch on my canvas before going in with my paint, but I guess people would say I'm a painter. I'm also a song writer and guitar play and singer." She laughed, shaking her head. "I guess the creative arts has been my calling since I was young... do you do any art?"
Muggle Studies was an absolute ball of a time. Vi had been taking it last year and whilst she enjoyed it, this Professor seemed like a hoot! After participating in the little two truths, one lie game, Vi heeded Professor Savage's advice and seeked out her own partner... hmm, someone not in her year and house...
Eventually, she landed on Faith with her beautiful big eyes and funky dunky nose ring. Zipping over to her before anybody else could, Vi flopped into the chair next to her. "Hiya!" she said brightly, pulling her legs up so she could sit cross-legged. "You wanna pair together? I'm Viola... Vi! Um... oh, so you know muggles, they talk using a what-si-majig... er, a phone? Those things they hold up to their ears! Isn't that just super duper?"
"I hope you're an spooky wooky anaconda. One that'll hug me so hard that my bones feel like they'll crack," Vi joked, grinning as she reached up to touch Sam's cheek. "Just don't eat me whole! I don't think I'd like to be trapped in that huge belly." Playfully, Vi reached out to give Sam's tummy - his very flat, fit tummy - a tiny prod with the tip of her finger. "How's your girly wirly? Not that she's yours. She's her own person. But girlfriend wirlfriend doesn't sound as cool."
Vi nodded in response to Sam's bringing up classes, however she did pull a face. "Classes are super duper... not exciting. But least some of the Profs are cutie patooties this year, don't you think?" she said, mind pleasantly drifting towards Professor Samuels. He was just... hot. Really hot, or at least she thought so. "Um... so I've gotta do classes and then keep doing the painting I'm working on and maybe write some more of my songs but I also really wanna try and smoochie woochie someone today. Nobody's snogged me since I came back to Hogwarts!" Not that they'd been back for long, but ever since losing her first kiss to Angel last year, she'd become a bit addicted to kissing and she was in need of a fix.
Skipping through the halls, Vi was bouncing off the walls with energy. It wasn't really a surprise considering this was how she usually was, but she'd decided to spontaneously down a coffee (blergh) at breakfast which meant she was definitely more excitable than usual.
Of course, this meant when she saw her friend Elena, she instantly was whizzing towards her and she threw her arms around the girl in a great big hug. "I missed youuuu and your cutie patootie face and your gorgeous beautiful blonde hair andddd your entrancing emerald eyes! Stunning."

As Rose responded so happily to Vi's compliment, the Ravenclaw girl was beaming brightly immediately because honestly, seeing people smile because of her made her whole gosh darn tootin' day and she loved it. "You're welcome!" she replied brightly. When the girl didn't ask Vi her name or anything, Vi wasn't shy to introduce herself. "Soooo my name's Vi! Well, Viola. But Vi for short. I only get called Viola when I'm in trouble."
When Rose wasn't sure of the shade of the colour of her hair, Vi paused before shrugging loosely. No big deal! Vi would just have to think super duper hard on what shades of paint she could mix to replicate that particularly colour. "Okie dokies! Well, it's very pretty."
"I could just hug you all day, you great big teddy bear. Who said Slytherins don't give great cuddles? Those people are a bunch of funny bunnies if they think differently!" Vi said brightly, leaning up to press a bright red smoochie woochie on Sam's cheek before scrambling off his lap as he asked to sit beside him.
But of course, in typical Viola fashion, she didn't keep her hands to herself and sat impossibly close to him, the outside of her thigh pressed against his. It wasn't really a flirting gesture, more so that Vi just being close to others. It made her feel happy, showering all her friends with love and affection. "Soooooo whatcha doin'? Besides eating your breakfast! Oh... oh, I should probably do that too, hey?" she chirped, reaching over to grab a slice of toast before slathering it with a thin layer of butter, and then a thicker layer of jam.

Another new year, another Professor and this one at the very least seemed a tad bit more lively than Professor Binns. Thank goodness! Plus, he wanted to have a discussion with them all. Vi loved to talk, it was her forte, and so naturally she didn't hesitate to speak after raising her hand. Then there was no stopping her!
"Goblins have the super duper long nails and they speak in that language with the funny name... um... oh! Gobbledegook?" Vi said brightly, grinning. "House elves have really cutie patootie ears, kind of all pointy like Cornish Pixies except a bit more flopsy wopsy... like... um... droopy woopy? Plus really adorable bug-eyes! "

Bouncing into Potions, Viola's good spirits weren't dampened, not even by the new Professor who definitely had her cranky pants on. Why someone who was obviously so unexcited to teach would put their hand up to become a Professor at Hogwarts was beyond her, but oh well. Hopefully this Professor wouldn't be too much of a grumpy wumpus for the rest of the lesson.
As the lesson moved on, it appeared Vi's hopes were definitely wrong, but oh well. All she needed was to pass this class, not be best friends with the Professor! Scribbling down a note on the parchment in front of her, Vi quickly slid it over to Felix conspicuously. It read: if we've got to partner up, want to be with me? Hopefully he would!

Liam's smile was the equivalent to the sun, the way it broke open his entire face as though rays were beaming through and Vi couldn't help but touch his gorgeous cheeks that were straining with his huge grin. She adored it. Adored his grin to absolute bits and pieces! No wonder she wanted to kiss him - his cheeks, all the gosh darn time. "Merlin must have been feeling generous the day you were born, to give you all this handsomeness and personality all in one lot!" she declared brightly.
It was like getting a hug from a great big teddy bear when Liam squeezed her around her waist and she loved it. She wanted him to give her cuddles all the time. "Anyone ever tell you that you're sweeter than fairy floss, Liam? The sweetest. How some lucky girl or guy hasn't swooped your cutie patootie behind up yet, I'll never know," she raved, grinning at the compliment and the subsequent kiss.
"Guess what! I lost one of my firsts in the holiday..." Pausing for dramatic effect, Vi left Liam in suspense before declaring, "I got my first kiss with tongue. It was super duper weird, all slimy and stuff. It felt like... like a worm was in my mouth or something." Nodding sagely, as though she was the authority of kissing after a few smooches, she told him, "Don't ever try it. You'd hate it."
"A formal invitation to sit with the great Liam Jordan himself? How could I resist! It sounds like the bees knees," Vi responded immediately, beaming up at him. "I reckon I was almost a Huffy Puffy in another life! I think I'd fit in better there. I mean... they always shush me at the Ravenclaw table. I don't know why. I just want to tell them how much I love them..."
Moving back to his past question, Vi's face scrunched up in distaste. "Homework. History of Magic homework. Professor Avery seems like... a lovely dovely person butttt I don't like History of Magic homework 'cause I always get bored." Curiously, Vi tilted her head as she nodded towards Liam's own book. "Whatcha doing?" By the looks of it... he'd been testing out his artistic skills. Was that... a balloon? Or... or a poodle?

One of Viola's things to do in the whole wide world was to go and watch the stars when it was late at night. They were so inspirational, and it always helped her muse with her song-writing or painting or what have you. She just had to make sure it wasn't super duper late when she went to go stargaze, or else she ended up too inspired to sleep until the early hours of the morning.
Trodding up the stairs with her telescope in hand, Vi had just walked through the door when she spied another person already in the Astronomy tower. Oh! The more the merrier. "Hi!" she said chirpily, smiling as she caught a glance of the other person's face. Rose, she believed, one of the many Weasley kids that attended Hogwarts. She'd not had much to do with her really, but she was always up for new pals. "Wow, look at your hair! It's super duper pretty in the moonlight. What shade is that? Like... hmm, a ginger or a burnt orange?" Whatever the colour was, she wanted to paint with it.
