With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

At the sound of some of the other people cheering them on, Vi couldn't help but grin because this was fun and she made sure to call out to Skylar with a wink, "Maybe you'll get it later, Sky!lar" She definitely wouldn't be opposed to the idea of smooching the Hufflepuff... or even watching him smoochie woochie Felix, come to think about it. That would be super duper hot.
As Felix leaned into and took a bite of the cookie too, Vi's eyes light up especially as she realised just how crumbly this cookie was, practically breaking apart with each nibble until finally, it was gone and their lips met in a short kiss. Pulling away, Vi wiped the crumbs off her lips before letting out a joyous laugh because yeah, that was definitely fun.
"Who's next... hmm, I'm going to ask the host with the most... Elena!" she announced, whirling around to address her friend with a twinkle in her eyes. "Truth or dare, my friend?"

As Elena told Vi not to let anyone tell her otherwise when it came to caffeine, Vi nodded very sagely, as though Elena had just told her some precious stone of great wisdom. "Has anyone ever told you that you should have been a Ravenclaw?" she asked her friend, grinning. "Maybe then we could have shared a dorm, how funky dunky would that have been? We could, like... braid each others hair - not that I can braid - and, like, er... oh! Oh, and bother all the cute serious grumpy 'claw boys at breakfast together."
When Elena brought up Liam in the same sentence as kissing, Vi got a playful twinkle in her eye because... well. "Do you fancy Liam?" she asked outright, nudging Elena ever so slightly. It was cool bananas if she did, but Merlin knew that she didn't want to try and get smoochie woochies off the Hufflepuff again if Elena was into him. Girl code, and all that. Her smile only grew as she continued to good-naturedly tease, "Do you wanna kissy wissy him down at Madam Puddifoots over a splendid cup of tea?"
"Oooh, older students would just be super duper! Vik's the bees knees. Sometimes I chat with her at breakfast," Vi said excitedly. "I'll ask her tomorrow, and then I'll try and get her to ask the others, yes? Then... then... oh, no, I won't ask my brothers. They might turn into funny bunnies about the whole party thing!"

The look that Celeste awarded her was not a good one, and it seemed like there were literal flames crackling in the brunettes eyes. Except, well... there wasn't because literal flames would be really super duper bizarre to see in a person's eyes and Vi definitely needed to attempt a painting like that and - she was getting off-track, and quickly. Oops.
Directing her attention back to Celeste, she tried her very best to listen to her little indignant tirade, not phased in the least by the cool tone in the other girl's voice. It really took a lot to shake Vi, and hearing Celeste's cranky pants tone wasn't about to do so. Instead, Vi nodded patiently as the girl carried on and finally said, "Even though you look as pretty as a pudding covered in it, they should never have done that. But I just thought maybe you'd ticked them off somehow, like you accidentally borrowed a book or something they wanted from the library, but never mind!"
The blush in Celeste's cheeks made Vi hum in satisfaction and she was quick to say, "A pink flush definitely suits you, wow. Compliments your eyes. How pretty!" before a frown pulled at her lips. "Wait, wait... it was a person from each house? Well, except from Hufflepuff, sounds like. How many meanie weenies were there?" This whole pudding situation was sounding worse by the minute and Vi shook her head. "No, don't be a silly billy. The elves'll rat you out and that's no good at all. You don't want to land it detention!"
Thinking for a minute, Vi slapped her knees as she came up with an idea. "Ohmygosh, Celeste. I've got it! You gotta ask friends - people you trust - to sneak in and putting itching powder in the meanie weenies clothes after they've been put in the rooms, okay? Look, we can do Ravenclaws, and Liam'll probably help do the 'puffs, Clary or Felix'll do the Gryffs, and then Elena - she's super duper good at pranks and stuff - can do the Slytherins!" With a proud grin of actually coming up with a feasible grin, Vi looked up at Celeste for her opinion. "What d'ya think?"
Sitting on the floor, still absolutely covered in paint, Vi's eyes watched her dorm mate as she start to get changed, listening to Celeste's every word and nodding along. Whilst she wasn't actively perving on her roommate (well, maybe an itsy bitsy bit), she wanted to make sure Celeste knew she was paying attention.. "Purple's totally your colour! Like, a plum or eggplant colour would look ravishing on you," Vi said, voice full of confidence, and beaming when Celeste suggested that sky blue was her colour. Awesome. Maybe that's why she'd been sorted into Ravenclaw, so she could mesh with the colour scheme? When Celeste complimented her name, Vi grinned and joked, "Are you flirting with me, Tyrell? 'Cause I gotta say... I didn't actually choose my name, it's from that muggle book. The... uh... Shakespeare one?"

After heralding in the new people, it didn't take long for a few new people to join their little gathering and after giving a small wave to the quiet boy in her year, Alex, Vi's face light up as she saw who joined them next. Her cutie patootie roommate, Celeste. They were pretty different personality-wise but opposites did attract and by Merlin, she adored the girl! "Maybe I should have been a Gryffindor instead," she joked, reaching out to take her friend's hands and gently tug her to stand next to her. "Yes, yes, come play! I would adore that!"
When Elena gave Vi her dare, the girl broke out in a great big grin because eating a cookie with Felix? Done deal! Especially without hands. It sounded like a gosh darn tootin' ball, and so pinching the cookie from Elena's hand and shoving it between her teeth, she turned to Felix. "'ou r'dy?" she asked between the cookie, wiggling her eyebrows and shimmying as she took a step towards her friend. She was ready to go, it was up to him to either bite or not bite the cookie now.

When Clary gave Vi a big smooch back on the cheek, the bubbly Ravenclaw girl was ecstatic. "Your cheek smoochie woochies are the bees knees, Clary!" she exclaimed brightly before reaching up to gently touch Clary's bright coloured hair. It was just so pretty and if Vi could braid, she'd be braiding the other girl's hair in a heartbeat.
But then a second later, Liam had zoomed in and immediately, Vi's attention was on him. She practically swooned on the spot as the taller boy pressed a long, big kiss on her cheek, beaming up at him and watching as he went to greet Elena. "Why don't I get picked up, hey? Just 'cause I'm not a veela doesn't mean I don't wanna get lifted like... like that girl in the Dirty Dancing movie," she teased, prodding the both of them in the side.
The next moment, someone else walked through the doors and immediately, Vi was launching herself at Flora in a great big hug because, "I missed you and your gorgeous face!" Then she found herself nodding excitedly at Flora's question of why Felix had brought along any boys. "That's right, it's just you and Liam right now! As much as I adore both of your company, you're super duper outnumbered and I want to smooch as many people as I can tonight, boys included!"
As Elena left the room and returned a moment later, Vi clapped her hands together excitedly because the veela girl had brought more people. More importantly, boys. Boys she'd ask to kiss later in the evening, no doubt. When asked whether she picked truth or dare, Vi tapped her chin thoughtfully before announcing, "I choose dare!"

Vi smiled and nodded in response to Rose as the younger girl shared that she admired art a lot and that she liked the colour red. Vi wasn't altogether certain what that had to do with art but she shrugged it off, nodding enthusiastically instead. "Red's a wonderful colour, isn't it? So lively and deep and vibrant... and I love, love, love red lipstick too," she shared.
"You like to sing? Me too! Maybe one day I can bring my guitar and we can have a super duper cool music sesh, d'you think so?" she suggested, eyes bright and gleaming with excitement. Not that many people in Hogwarts sung, after all!

As their first guest arrived, a bright sunny grin crossed Vi's lips immediately. "Fe! You made it! Not in your jimmy jams either," she teased playfully, bumping the other boy's shoulder back before shooting him a confused yet amused glance. "Why're you introducing yourself, silly billy? Elena knows who you are! You're having her on, right? We've all been in classes together for over three years."
The next to arrive was Clary and immediately, Vi did a little dance and let out a loud, happy laugh. "Hi hi hi!" she rushed out, throwing her arms around her friend's neck and leaning in to press a great big smooch on her cheek. "Your hair is so pretty!" Drawing back, Vi nudged Elena with her elbow. "What were you thinking, E? Dancing or games first?"

When the door inevitably creaked open, Vi put on her very best 'I'm innocent, this is fine, no really Celeste everything is fine' expression, puppy dog eyes and all as she waited for her roommate to blow-up or something. Instead, Celeste was doing her very best impression of a stunned mullet until the girl mentioned the person in the painting looked like her. Immediately, Vi grinned and bobbed her head enthusiastically. "You really think so? I wouldn't to capture, like, your essence!" she explained, waving around the paintbrush in her hand a bit dangerously. "After all, you're the bees knees. So pretty. Just, like, amazing! I wanted to make your smarty party pants shine through as well, though that's hard to translate into a painting!" She wasn't sucking up either, she genuinely meant the words she was saying.
But then Celeste was walking towards her and Vi blinked up at her, utterly confused, as the girl did the very last thing she was expecting by cupping her face. For a brief moment, Vi thought the girl was about to kiss her - something she wouldn't actually object to, at all, because yay her first girly smoochie woochie woo - but then confusingly, Celeste was smearing even more paint over her forehead and talking like Professor O'Connor (minus the Irish accent) as she said 'SIMBAAAH.' For a moment, Vi just blinked but hearing Celeste giggle set her off into laughter of her own, tilting her head back. "I think you forgot my name," she teased as her own giggles subsided. "You'd think after sharing a dorm for so long, you'd know it, you big meanie pants!"
"Oh, bronze! What a brilliant idea... although, I do like that particular shade of purple that's all over you," she said, pointedly waving her paintbrush at Celeste's robes. "I mean, it super duper suits you, you'd look fabulous if you were all-purple, but I don't think it was planned." She wondered briefly what had happened, why Celeste was looking like a plum pudding, and then the other girl said she had pudding dumped all over her. Immediately, Vi scrambled to her feet, hands covered in paint planted on her hips. "They dumped pudding on you? Ohmygosh, Celeste, why?"
Making light of the situation for a brief moment, Vi joked, "You already look like a snack, you don't need extra food to help with that." But then she was back to serious Vi and she said, "Oh! Oh, you should totally levitate their mattresses to the middle of the Black Lake. I mean, depending on which house they're in!"

Dear @felix ,
Okie dokies. Sounds like a plan! Are you gonna model your clothes for me before the party? I bet you'll look all cutie patootie in them. Maybe you can tell me how I look as well!
Um... I sent an itty bitty note to a lot of people, so I don't know who's coming exactly but I invited Liam, Celeste, Flora, you. A whole bunch of people, I'm probably forgetting some actually. I hope they show up but if they don't, that's all good. It'd be nice to see them though!

Dear @felix ,
That's totally a you problem then, not a me problem, my cutiest patootiest pal. I was just asking making sure you knew it was hip hop happening is all! I don't want you to come if you'll be all grumpy bum on me. I only want to see you with all smiles, Fe.
If you wanted to come, I'll help you choose an outfit for sure! It's just a relaxed kinda thing. Wear pajamas if you really want to! Or maybe just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. No formal wear!

As Vi knelt in front of her latest masterpiece-in-progress, she stuck her tongue out a little in concentration as she mixed her latest colour up. It was hard work, getting just the right tone of blue for the night sky, and as a result she had paint splattered all over her overalls, her face, her arms and... perhaps a bit regrettably, across the floor of her dorm room.
Celeste was going to kill her... or maybe not, once she saw the surrealistic paint of a woman melding into the night sky that Vi had been working on for days. The woman looked a little bit like Celeste, after all, as she'd taken a bit of inspiration from her cutie patootie features. The woman's cute lil' nose was very much the same, as was the shape of her jawline. The rest was a mixture of features drawn from Vi's imagination alone.
Hearing the tell-tale pitter patter of footprints heading towards the dorm room, Vi swiped her hand across her forehead to push back some hair... and in the process, unbeknownst to her, she smeared some of the bright blue paint into her light blonde hair and onto her forehead as a result. Oopsie daisies!

Her first try for a goal didn't work, but no matter! She wasn't giving up and as soon as Viola saw @leo drop the quaffle then dive for it, she was on it straight away. Luckily, she managed to grab the ball before shouting, "ALEXANDER McCARTHY! Catch!" and throwing it in her housemates direction.

When Elena whirled around and ran straight towards her too, Vi broke out into a smile as bright as the sun. Merlin, how she adored Elena! She was such a fresh of breath air, someone who could keep up with her energy-wise and who never ever really cracked the grumps at her... unlike half of her housemates, unfortunately. She adored them too but they could all be so serious.
"No, you're too precious," Vi told Elena, reaching up to bop her nose with a giggle as she drew away from her friend. "My lovely face has been dunkity dunked in a wee cup of coffee... can you tell?!" Probably, based on the way Vi was unable to stand still even more than usual.
As Elena dropped her voice to a whisper, Vi leaned in, intrigued, only to light up at the suggestion her friend gave her. Immediately, she was whisper-shouting in excitement because would a fab idea. "Ohhhh my goodness, a party! By Merlin's socks, yes! Maybe on the weekend! Oh oh oh, and we can play lots and lots of games." Pausing, Vi's lips took on a bit more of a sneaky smile as she said, "Kissing games or that truth or dare game or something fun, what d'you think?"
