With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Rosa on all her candor knew she wasn't an innocent young lady, but from the time she told him she didn't want to share him and he agreed she kept her word. She was heated, whether a game or not over the sheer fact the boy just struck her ad having absolutely wasted her time and energy. She didn't do that. She did not waste her time on people... Ever. She looked at Grey as he remarked about him feeling her up, giving him a disgusted look, " A real laugh, Grey. Thanks, " She replied back sarcastically. She didn't find it amusing in the least having him poke at her when she was pissed, but nonetheless, she went with her friend to the bowl.
She looked at Felix, her gaze hot enough to melt the polar ice caps. Nope. She was not letting this boy pretend he was happy to see her after that display. She rolled her eyes, ignoring his remark about how she looked, " I'm sure someone will appreciate it, " She remarked back, clearly meaning to cut at him with it.
She didn't bother defending when she heard Grey call him a wanker, because, well, she agreed. At least in that moment as she sat on the chair, waiting to watch the party go haywire for the little kiddies as they all went for the punch. Either she'd ruin their party or make it better-- frankly it was a win-win for her and Grey. She poured a bit of the punh in her own cup. She could handle her alcohol, even if the others couldn't.

Elena was excited, giving a little clap over going next. She could absolutely handle the truth, because, really what would Viola ask her that would actuaLly scare her. Nah, she wanted to take a dare. She grinned,"Of course you can go next! How could I say no to a pretty face?" She winked playfully, before looking at Viola, " Alright, Vi, I'll do... A dare, " She grinned, quite sure with her decision.
": i dare you to close your eyes, spin in a circle, and kiss whoever your finger lands on, " Vi replied, bringing a red flush to her cheeks, but it was hardly a horrible dare. It certainly could have been much worse. "Alright, " She put her finger out and began to spin, spin, spin until her hand actually bumped into someone's chest as the girl kept her eyes closed, " Should I open my eyes or just let this happen, then close my eyes, " She joke with a chuckle.
"Alright, lover, give me a clap if you're down, " She chuckled, and with the clap, she grabbed the mystery party goer by the shirt and planted one on them. She girl's eyes opened after a moment, curious about who she had actually kissed.
(Anyone is welcome to come having been veela charmed by this little bean).
Her choices - Truth: Who it of all the professors do you find the most attractive and why? Dare: I dare you kiss one person, cheek or otherwise (that is willing, of course) that you have never talked to before.
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Women, honestly he didn't know why he was doing what he was doing here. He thought they established one thing, trust. Here she was with the dirtbag that was Greyson. Sure he was good friends with Gabriel because at least he was more humane in a way. Greyson was probably deep down, very very deep down a good guy but for Felix he was like a fart someone let out, something that would blow away soon enough.
Therefor his comments or existence was completely ignored. Felix didn't give a shit what he thought, he never did and he never will. If Greyson thought that way about him, good for him. Wasn't Felix's problem and it never would be. The boy let out a small sigh and just said there, jaw clenched a little from boiled up frustration and yet his expression was calmer than ice. His eyes were on the others, they were playing the games still.
Rosa was mad, she saw something in a way that it wasn't and she hid behind her fart friend. Well good for her then, if she thought of him that way than whatever effort he had put into letting her trust him was for no reason. So be it, she would find out the truth eventually and that was simply he ate a cookie with a friend and she smooched him because it's Viola. No explanation needed when it came to her.
He got up slowly and eyed Rosa with a calm, cold as ice expression before turning to Viola. "I'll be back soon, there is no restroom in this place." he faked a smile and kissed her cheek, ruffled her hair and headed out for the restroom, he'll be back.
Ickle bebe veela in one arm and gorgeous Vi in another, Liam's toothy grin was from ear to ear and probably visable from space. He gave Felix a cheeky wink as the girls fawned over him with kisses because c'mon - what guy wouldn't love this?
Liam was about to pick Viola up when he became distracted with Flora appearing and questioning his not bringing mates. "Ey, what can I say? Imma selfish boy, Florz," he said as he watched little Elena toddle out of the room to gather more people. "Eyyyy Felix, you're in luck! Vi's on the prowl!" Liam prodded the Ravenclaw back as she mentioned being ready to kiss a whole bunch of people.
Clarissa's hug and then proclamation that she'd happily get to kissing Viola made Liam go wide-eyed and a little too excited if you ask Roo. "Wait wait wait... 'ow d'you know 'er lips are soft?" Liam asked Clarissa eagerly, looking between her and Viola. It was a question that could've easily been missed, though as soon Elena had returned with a whole bunch of new people crowding in. Snug as a bug, she returned to his side and he looped an arm over her shoulders comfortably.
One of the people that came in with Elena was Agnes, who waved half-heartedly at him. Then Alexander came in too, all shy and shizz. "Ey Aggy! Alex!" he called as Elena got to daring Viola to share a cookie with Felix. Wow! Liam gave a nervous chuckle and squeezed Elena as he watched with bated breath as stone-cold Felix got his nibble on with his little friend.
The boy took a moment to go over to the punch bowl and took a big cup of the liquid. Granted, it was unfortunately well after Greyson had made an alcoholic deposit but as Liam drank he couldn't quite understand the reason his face scrunched up in distaste. Punch was weird. Nice but weird. Shuffling over to loop an arm around Alex's shoulders, Liam listened closely as Viola gave Elena the little devil, a dare!
"Uh-oh, 'ere's where some 'earts break today," Liam said loudly, teasing his little veela friend. As she spun, Liam let go of Alex and stepped up to where he expected Elena to land. Liam put his finger to his lips to everyone to keep quiet as Elena asked her questions and he most certainly didn't clap for her. Instead, he snaked his hand onto her hips, brushing the skin between her shirt and pants and brought her that bit closer as their lips connected. It was soft, because Liam had no clue what he was doing, but there was a smile behind the kiss that only broadened as Elena opened her eyes to spy on him. "Hello lover," he teased, using her own terminology on her.

The girl who was hosting the partying, Elena, called out to her and Aggy gave her a small smile that didn't really reach her eyes because that was the hostess' job, and not only that but she knew coming over for a 'chat' would undoubtedly invite people to ask her to play that game... and she wasn't twelve. So that was a hard pass.
Instead, she leveled a look at Olivia as her old friend asked... about milk? "You been smoking some gillyweed with Greyson Avery?" she asked, with an amused snort. "As... young as they may act, this doesn't seem like a five year old's party. There's punch which, if you're lucky, has probably already been spiked." The words made her stomach twist uncomfortably, as soon as they left her mouth. Right. She knew exactly why, and she looked away, jaw clenching. She wasn't going to think of him. Not tonight.
Instead, she focused on the drama unfolding in front of her with 'you may know my family' Felix Bianchi, 'eff the aurors' Greyson Avery, and 'la-di-da I'm an Italian pureblood' Rosalia Capone. It was all very... dramatic. "Re-enacting a John Hughes film, are we?" she commented lightly to Greyson and Rosalia as Felix stormed out. She got a middle finger from Greyson in reply, but she doubted he knew what she was even talking about, being a pureblood and all. It was probably just because she dared to speak to him. "Love it. Living up to the reputation of being angsty teenagers, the whole lot of you."

Skylar grinned at Gem as she came over to him, her bright smile making him get into the spirit of the party. Trust his fellow Hufflepuffs to bring the fun! He hugged the small girl with one arm. "Can't wait for things to get really fun." And by really fun, he definitely meant getting dared to kiss a cute boy. Or for one to choose to kiss him... that would be just as good.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted someone pouring the contents of a bottle into the punch, and before he could remind himself that it was a horrible idea, he was already extracting himself from Gem, hoping to casually walk over and take some. He knew that technically he was way too young for this, but he liked the warm and floaty feeling he got when he drank, as if he could take on the world. All that mattered was not getting caught and kicked off the Quidditch team, and that shouldn't be too hard, right? This room in particular was secret.
Rejoining the group with punch in hand, Skylar was just in time to see Elena kiss his own roommate, the two definitely getting close, and he took a drink from his cup, ready to keep the party going.
"Let me go after Clary!" he called, knowing already he was going to pick dare, whatever it was.
Sally looked dope as hell, she knew she did as she strolled into the party with a pair of round glasses perched on her nose and her dark, cloud-like hair loose and fluffy. She may have been only a second year, attending a fourth year party, but she knew that she dressed good enough to blend in with the rest of the crowd... or so she hoped.
With a wide, bright grin on her face, Sally was about to grab a cup of punch when suddenly, she heard a loud commotion and turned around only to find... oh, ew. Ew. Immediately, her hands flew to her mouth to cover her horror. This was worse than the time she'd burst in on her parents in the shower together, it was worse than the time she'd caught Leo making googly eyes at his housemate, it was Liam kissing some girl. But then it got worse. He called this girl lover and Sally wanted to throw up because that was so mushy and romantic and... oh, Liam hadn't even told her he had a girlfriend! Rude.
Arms folding across her chest indignantly, Sally let her presence be known to the room as she hollered at the top of her lungs, "I'M TELLING MUM AND DAD AND LEO ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRIEND, LIAM."

Rosa could have fucking killed him at that moment as she pulled away from the brush of his lips against her cheek. Who the hell did he even think he was? If he wanted freedom, well gods-fucking-speed. She wants to go to sit there and cry her eyes out over some boy that clearly gave a damn less. She had kept her word where he hadn't, and for her, something like that broke her. It twisted her insides in a way that would've pushed anyone to the brink. She gave a facetious wave as he stormed out. "Don't let the door hit you. We'd hate to see you bruise, " The brunette cooed.
It wasn't entirely surprising as Aggy jumped on the opportunity to cause others grief. While Rosalia could be a grade A bitch, she generally knew where to poke. "Bit bold to jump on people about storming out, " As if the girl hadn't had her own angsty between her arguments with other students, brooding over her 'demons', and whatever other crap that induced visions like that boggart in DADA. Honestly she kind of thought her prickliness was hot, but ehh, it was hardly a surprise. She seemed to prefer people as damaged or reckless as she was. "Can't say I know anything about Hughes, but I'm always up for trying new things, " She grinned a bit, an obvious undergone in her remark.
Honestly, she was already pissed at one person. She didn't plan on indulging any more fights.
She topped off her glass before snaking hand at Grey's waist, watching as the students began to indulge in the spiked punch with a grin, " This party should liven up here soon. I need a pick me up, " She was pretty good at hiding when things were truly bothering her in public... I mean, truly bothering her. He could no doubt tell by now, years of best friends and all. But, for tonight, she needed to just breathe. She watched as the little veela and Liam made out briefly, perking a brow, " And you said she was innocent, " She laughed a bit at the display. Particularly the girl's flush face as she opened her eyes.
No sooner had Liam locked lips with his little friend - which was very nice, by the way! - then there was this... this … Liam stopped and opened his eyes wide to find his little sister Sally with her arms across her chest. Liam gulped as he registered exactly what she had said... she was going to dob him in! "Oi! Sally..! No no no no no no no...!" Liam was shaking his head and moving towards her, his dark cheeks flushed with colour. "It's... it's not like that. She's a friend! Viola! - Elena... tell her!"
Secretly, the snake hoped against hope that when Elena went out to round up some more boys that a certain one would fall for her charm. Though the longer the little half-veela was gone, the more Flora realised that she wasn't actually all that keen on the idea of that certain boy getting all googley-eyed over her pretty little dorm mate. No, for the briefest of seconds green jealousy flashed over the girl as she waited for more people to pile in and her easy smile faltered as she went on her tip-toes to see.
"Don't worry Felix, you almost always sound like a girl," Flora teased cheekily when he tried to defend his veritable harem. In fairness, Flora was trying to distract herself from the idea that Richard might get caught up in the wrong girl's doe eyes. Clary and Viola had some very kind words ready for her and she reached up to Viola to tuck one of her very blonde locks behind her ear. "Thank you ladies. You all look gorgeous of course. Same as you, Felix," she continued her tease.
Not one of the new recruits were anyone she'd particularly wanted. She saw prickly pricklebean Agnes and how friendly she was with Liam - yes, a tiny wave was friendly for that particular girl these past couple of years. Another housemate, Rosalia, entered with her rebellious arm candy that liked to draw on himself like the toddler he was and Flora's keen eyes fell on the drama that ensued. Oh, Vinda would be judging those children SO HARD if she were here right now.
When Liam's little sister appeared and yelled out that she was going to dob him in, Flora was left holding her tight stomach as she tried not to double over in laughter. "Liam and Elena - K I S S I N G. First comes love, then comes marriage..." she grinned playfully and waited to make sure little Sally was watching before she cradled a non-existent baby, "then comes the baby in the baby carriage!"

'Bit bold to jump on people about storming out.' Immediately, the words that left Rosa's mouth had Aggy's snort derisively because, "Do you need glasses, Capone? Or perhaps just a dictionary? Merlin knows how you got prefect if you can't tell the difference between walking and storming out." It was clear that the other girl was referencing what had happened during the DADA class... but Aggy hadn't been the one to suggest taking a breather, Liam had and she'd followed him with his hand on her arm. If she hadn't, she'd probably have been sitting shell-shocked at the back of a classroom instead with some healer prying into her own personal business.
Eyes rolling, Aggy reached for a new cup of punch, although unbeknownst to her it had been tainted with alcohol thanks to Einstein Greyson Avery. Raising it to her lips, she took a slow sip, brows raising at the suggestive undertone to Rosa saying she was willing to 'try new things.' "That's very lioness of you," she remarked. "Maybe you should have been a Gryffindor instead. Then you'd get to listen to the daily chest thumping and hollering in the common room over people flying broomsticks and whacking balls. It's enlightening. You're really missing out."

Elena had longer to the kiss a moment. Wow... Honestly, whoever it was was... Gifted. She chuckled a bit, opening her eyes with an expression of almost embarrassment. Her first actual kiss with Liam, and frankly, she felt so unprepared. She stumbled a bit for words as he turned her own joke on her as her mouth went a bit gapped. She thought a moment, considering what to say... But just as she went to speak. A moment that she could've salvaged as perfect, went south real quick with the exclamation of another student... His sister.
"We're not. I mean, I'm not saying no that we couldn't but that..." Fuck it all, did she even know what she was saying? For someone who was normally smooth, she felt like an idiot in the moment. She sighed a bit, putting her hand to her forehead. She hadn't felt like crawling into a hole in a long while, but this feeling came pretty damn close. She sighed, " You know what? I don't care, " She shrugged a bit, taking a breath, " We're whatever Liam says we are, " The blonde concluded, taking a drink of her punch as she avoided the awkwardness entirely.
Her cheeks were still a bit flush as she looked over at Liam a moment, her eyes locked up to his before looking down a bit with a smile back at the others. She couldn't outright admit it in front of his sister of all people, but her face gave away just how smitten she was with the Hufflepuff. Not that she hadn't already been smitten with the flirtatious boy, but she certainly was incapable of hiding it at the moment. She tucked a bit of loose, pale hair as she looked at Viola with a bit of a knowing smile. She'd been the only person she actually came out and expressed how she felt about Liam too, so she was certain that her friend was happy for her.
Now that just left the question of what would happen. She supposed that was something best left to talk about another day amongst... Less familial eyes of the pair. She watched as the others continued the game, the silly smile never quite leaving get face.

Inexplicably charmed into the Room of Requirement by the little Elena, Evan quickly found the food and drink table. He was hungry - he'd been on his way to the kitchens when he'd been herded by the most charming sheep-veela because he was a teenage boy going through yet another growth spurt and his belly was a bottomless pit.
"Greyson, Rosalia, Aggy," Evan greeted merrily, ignoring any tense comments passing between the three - after five years, he was more than used to it. Greyson had already spiked the punch but Evan didn't know, nor did he know what alcohol tasted like, so he enjoyed a rather large cup of punch. "Mmm tasty," Evan said with a boozey-grin as he took himself another big drink of spiked punch. "Aggy, have you had any of this? Mmm," he'd finished the second drink rather quickly. It was amazing how easily the liquid slid down his throat and into his belly and... by Merlin, was it warm in here?
When Sally yelled that she was going to tell on Liam for kissing Elena, Evan began laughing because hahahhahaha sucked in Liam. Flora was making fun of the situation and he hadn't heard anyone sing that song since primary school but by goodness that was hilarious. "Baby carriage!" Third drink. "Mmmm look what's this?" Evan dipped his hand into the ketchup saucer because he forgot that he should probably have gotten himself a party sausage first and then promptly put his fingers into his mouth to suck off said sauce. "Tomato-y."
Post by AGNES CLEARWATER on Jun 25, 2019 14:21:41 GMT
A scathing comment had been on the tip of her tongue, aimed straight for Greyson Avery when suddenly, Evan pushed through the crowd, looking every bit the towering giant that he was. "Hello, Hagrid!" Aggy greeted him bright, voice sugary sweet as she raised her cup in his direction. "Have a wee bit of a trim, did you? Probably for the best. All those hairs, who knows where they'd end up. Maybe in someone's mouth." With that Aggy raised the drink to her lips once more. It had a kick to it at the beginning when she'd drank it, and with each sip she was actually starting to get into a great mood... so naturally, she'd deduced that it was alcohol. There was no other option. She just needed to guard this drink with her life was all.
She watched rather impressed as Evan threw one drink back after the other and wow, he really was a beast, wasn't he? Not a giant or a troll like she liked to tease him about, but... literally a savage when it came to drinking. "Yes, 'cause that's all wizarding world needs when we're overrun by wolves and a corrupt ministry right now. Teen pregnancy," Aggy said, voice monotone and dead seriously, something that was ruined a moment later as she snorted in amusement at her own joke.
Evan asking, 'look what's this?' caught Aggy's attention and looking over, she watched in absolute horror as he dipped his fingers straight into the tomato sauce, scooping it up and sticking them right into his gob. "You really are a savage," Aggy breathed, shaking her head as she reached up to tug Evan's fingers out of his mouth. "Evan... I'm gonna break it to you. There's a thing we use these days called a spoon... that... y'know, you can use to scoop things onto your plate with. Novel concept, I know. But it's better than looking like you're one step away from tipping the bowl up and guzzling sauce down your throat like it's some kind of party trick."

After the punch he had drank, Skylar couldn't help but burst into giggles at Flora's little song. Now that would be something to tease his roommate about later--caught by his little sister! He didn't stop to question why a second-year had managed to sneak into a party like this in the first place. The heat of so many people in the room as well as the influence of the drink had turned Skylar's freckled face rather red, and he only hoped his own sister wouldn't turn up here. He had a feeling she might be upset if she realized he was drinking like this. But this party was mostly fourth and fifth years, so he was pretty sure he was safe from all that.
Besides, his train of thought was being abruptly cut off by a certain something happening near the snacks: the tall Gryffindor in the year ahead of him--Evan, he was pretty sure was his name--had his fingers in his mouth, sucking on them, and Skylar hadn't been expecting that to happen, nor to make him stare as much as he must be doing right now. It was like he couldn't take his eyes away.
