With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Well, it had been a bit of a trek as she tried to sneak about the castle with all their party things. Luckily, the Room of Requirement gave them bAsically everything that they could have wanted for a party (kudos to her older brother Kiernan for being a bad influence and getting her and Viola in). She giggled as she entered the room, setting down the last of the party stuff on a table. The fire was roaring, the music was going, fun lights filled the room with a spectrum of color and vibrancy that brought the whole party together.
Elena enjoyed a delicious cupcake as she waited with her best friend, hoping that more people would show. Hopefully, without the faculty right on their heels. This was a secret party after all. What fun would it be if the teachers came barging it on their little suaré and broke it up?! She could only hope that their guests were smart enough not to draw attention to themselves. She wasn't a dancer herself, but she knew Viola was. It wasn't that Elena was incapable, she just never had fancied the idea of dancing out of fear she might look... Stupid. Her mother wasn't exactly privy to human dancing, and despite his humaness... Her father was even more oblivious to such social interaction. She most had to rely on her brother who were pretty much lady's men so it seemed it was a part of their job description.
"Who do you think will show up? Oooo, And by the waaaaaay... I love your outfit. You look amazing, Vi. I mean.. You obviously always look amazing, but you're like perfect!" She tilted her head curiously as she thought back on her own question, taking a drink of her punch. Best to enjoy it now before someone inevitably spiked the beverages with firewhisky or some other painful concoction.

A party! Could life be anymore fun? Vi thought not, as she stood by her best friend with her bright lipstick and wearing her favourite pair of jeans. "This is going to be the bestest blow out in the whole wide world. "You look like an angel with the most perfect cutie patootie face in the whole wide world," she told Elena sincerely, a great big grin on her face as she wrapped one arm around her friend, giving her a cuddle.
After grabbing herself a drink as well, Vi tapped her chin in thought. Who would show up? That was a super duper good question. "Welll... I sent a itty bitty note to a few people. Like Flora and Felix and Celeste and Sam, the sixth year Slytherin, and I'm not sure if they invited anyone else but I sure hope so! This is going to be sooo much fun! I hope they start showing up soon!"
All they had to do now was wait for the others to start arriving, and Vi bounced up and down on her heels as she kept a look out.
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Felix felt weak. For some reason the girls in this school had it out for him in the way of making him do what they want. Even the sweetest ones would just manipulate their words in a way of making him feel like he has a choice but he really doesn't. Still, he wouldn't want people to fully think he is an old grandpa inside since that is often what people call him so he decided to take Viola's invitation.
With a sigh he made his way to the right location and rose his eyebrow when he got in. It was early? Was he early? There were two girls and he believed one of them to be the host while the other was the one to invite him over. He walked up to Viola and whoever the other girl was and smiled a bit.
"Sparkles!" he said and grinned a bit as he nudged Viola's shoulder and kissed her cheek. He then looked at the other girl and held his hand out. "Felix Bianchi, nice party."

A party! Clary would never ever say no to a party. Was there a chance she'd get in trouble? Yep. Did she mind? Nope! The only thing she was pondering about was her hair color for the occassion! Would she go with her short blue curls that she liked so much? Or maybe long blonde and fit in better whenever she felt like too much of an outcast?
Nope! This was a party and Clary was highly convinced that parties were allowing her to go a bit extra on her hair so she got one half pink and one half orange!
"This will be fun!" she squealed and rushed out of the dorm, she even managed to catch up with Felix and go in after him.
"Hello! I heard we were having a party!" she said and grinned a bit. "Are we going to dance? Or play games?"

As their first guest arrived, a bright sunny grin crossed Vi's lips immediately. "Fe! You made it! Not in your jimmy jams either," she teased playfully, bumping the other boy's shoulder back before shooting him a confused yet amused glance. "Why're you introducing yourself, silly billy? Elena knows who you are! You're having her on, right? We've all been in classes together for over three years."
The next to arrive was Clary and immediately, Vi did a little dance and let out a loud, happy laugh. "Hi hi hi!" she rushed out, throwing her arms around her friend's neck and leaning in to press a great big smooch on her cheek. "Your hair is so pretty!" Drawing back, Vi nudged Elena with her elbow. "What were you thinking, E? Dancing or games first?"

Everything had been so spur of the moment, but so far it looked as though they might have a good turn out. It was still early, but in came Felix... Ugh, that boy was cute. She smiled, giggling As she shook her head, " A bit formal, but hey Felix, " The blonde winked. They may not have ran in the same circles overall but she still recognised him from class. It was kind of hard not to after all these years. She took his hand, giving a somewhat flirty look up and down before the half-veela looked over at the next guest.
"Clary!" She waved with a smile, greeting the girl, " Agreed. I looove your hair. I've always wanted to try other colors, but I'm terrified, " she chuckled, " I think they make ones that are suuuper temporary that is try, " When Vi nudge her she smirked, " How about we get a game started? I'm sure more people are showing up soon, " The confident little Slytherin nodded, " What did you guys wanna play?"

Smiles and happy faces made Clary feel even better! She was excited for the party to get started and for more people to show up soon. There were going to be more people right? Otherwise this party was going to be very tiny and intimate which was a little sad but not bad either! The girl looked at the others with a smile on her face and happily hugged her before returning a smooch on Vi's cheek! If she could do it so could Clary right?!
"Vi! You look fabulous!" she responded with a bigger smile on her face than before. She turned to Elena and grinned a bit more. "Elena! Your hair is so precious though! You both have the veela beauty looks!" she looked around and eyed Felix who seemed to have stared a bit into the distance, was he waiting for someone?
"Oh games are fun! There is only four of us right now though! What kind of game could we do!" Clary spun around and bounced from one leg onto another trying to figure out a game they could play.

Why was he doing half of the things he was doing? He was here introducing himself to a bloody classmate. He had to take a moment before looking away from her and focus more on Viola, it felt safer. It must be the bloody veela blood in the other girl, she was going to break hearts with merely existing.
"I'm sorry, forget i did that." he said and rubbed the back of his neck before turning to Clarissa. She was his housemate and the girl always tried to hug him for some reason. He just gave her a nod and a smile and let the ladies catch up. Please let more boys show up here.
"I am down for any games, surprise me ladies." he said with a smirk, oh please let more guys show up.
When Liam had gotten word from his wonderful classmates that they were having a party... oh man was he a happy chappy! Liam couldn't wait to show off his dance moves and get his groove thing on with Viola, Elena hopefully Alex and maybe even Richard if he could convince him to come too. Maybe even Greyson would catch wind of the party and come - with enough alcohol, Liam was sure that he could even get Grey to groove too.
"Eyyyyyyyy! Did someone say there's a party goin' on?" Liam said as he poked his head through the door of the Room of Requirement; his dark eyes quickly landing on the little group of friends and his lips pulled back into an enormous grin. "I 'ope ya'll brought ya dancin' shoes cuz I've got brought the sick beats!" Liam walked in fully then and wrapped his arms over the shoulders of both Elena and Viola.
"Vivi," he said warmly, squeezed her shoulder and pressed a long, full second kiss on the cheek and then turned to the little half-vela and made a real show about bending down super low to plant a kiss on her cheek too before he ultimately pretended to give up. Instead he snaked his hand around the top part of her waist and picked her up with one arm to plant a kiss against her cheek. "Did you get shorter for the weekend, Elenabenena?" he asked cheekily. "Soon ya'll be smaller than my pygmy puffs."
Then Liam turned to the super hyper Clary and the stand-offish Felix and waved at them both. "ClaryBear, truth and dare sounds good to me! Though last time I played with the sixth years I ended up eating a whole chilli!" he laughed, "sorry bro, looks like ya gonna 'ave to share these cuties with me! No 'ard feelin's yea?"
Flora was excited to go to a get together with her beautiful besties, but the essay she was writing was due tomorrow and only needed a conclusion. If it was completed now, she'd be able to enjoy the night and party on until her feet were sore or her tummy hurt from laughing too hard. So it was that the usually on time Flora was running behind and she rushed through the castle as quickly as she could without raising too many suspicions.
She slipped in shortly after Liam did, just in time to watch him pick up the little Elena and she twinkle-toed her way over to Clary & Viola. "Did you guys miss me?" she cooed, a slow smile raising her cheeks. Flora wanted desperately to ask Liam if he had... if he'd invited his room mate, Richard, but as her dark eyes fell on the small party she guessed he had not.
"Merlin we need some more people,"Richard, we need Richard, Flora said. "Felix, how come you haven't brought any boys with you, hmm? And you too, Liam?" her perfectly kept dark brow arched questioningly at the two boys. "Elena, maybe you should work your magic and round us up a few to play with?"

The half veela rolled her eyes a bit as Liam teased her size with a giggle, but it wasn't until the boy scooped her up by the waist and planted one on her cheek that it turned into a full blown laugh as her little heart fluttered a bit. She didn't even hesitate to give the boy several kisses to the cheek, almost wishing he didn't have to turn his attention away.
"Flora!" She greeted with a smile as her feet returned to the ground, throwing the girl a wink as she asked if she could muster up some more bodies, " I'm on it, " The host nodded, and without hesitation, the half veela disappeared out the door. Ten minutes passed, and before they knew it the blonde returned with... A lot of people. Mostly boys, but there were a few others mixed in she'd managed usher along with the boys that seemed all to easily infatuated. "Hey look! I found a bunch in the corridors!" It obviously wasn't all the party guests, but now it was most definitely a party.
"So, truth or dare, aye?" She clapped her hands together, " I'll start it off! Ohhhh Viiiii! Truth. Or. Dare, " She giggled. After all, she was the other host. She'd give her the honor of the first turn.

When Clary gave Vi a big smooch back on the cheek, the bubbly Ravenclaw girl was ecstatic. "Your cheek smoochie woochies are the bees knees, Clary!" she exclaimed brightly before reaching up to gently touch Clary's bright coloured hair. It was just so pretty and if Vi could braid, she'd be braiding the other girl's hair in a heartbeat.
But then a second later, Liam had zoomed in and immediately, Vi's attention was on him. She practically swooned on the spot as the taller boy pressed a long, big kiss on her cheek, beaming up at him and watching as he went to greet Elena. "Why don't I get picked up, hey? Just 'cause I'm not a veela doesn't mean I don't wanna get lifted like... like that girl in the Dirty Dancing movie," she teased, prodding the both of them in the side.
The next moment, someone else walked through the doors and immediately, Vi was launching herself at Flora in a great big hug because, "I missed you and your gorgeous face!" Then she found herself nodding excitedly at Flora's question of why Felix had brought along any boys. "That's right, it's just you and Liam right now! As much as I adore both of your company, you're super duper outnumbered and I want to smooch as many people as I can tonight, boys included!"
As Elena left the room and returned a moment later, Vi clapped her hands together excitedly because the veela girl had brought more people. More importantly, boys. Boys she'd ask to kiss later in the evening, no doubt. When asked whether she picked truth or dare, Vi tapped her chin thoughtfully before announcing, "I choose dare!"

Felix was amused by the excitement of these girls, they seemed like a trio of friends who could cause a heck load of trouble together. You had the veela, the cute one and the girl who could change her hair at will and god knows what else she could do in the future. A little group of power rangers, or whatever group existed for girls.
"Be my guest lad." he said raising his hands. Honest to god he was not interested in the girls the way this boy seemed to be. Felix just took a seat respectively and waited for the games to start. He waved at whoever all came in and eyed Flora who asked him a question as well.
"What can I say without sounding like a girl.. girls are easier to befriend." he shrugged and smiled.

Yay for games! Clary was very excited and was bouncing around a bit on her feet as she watched Liam show up. Another boy and it was Liam! Liam was such a sweetie and she liked him a lot! Clary moved to hug him when she could and giggled when he called her Clarybear. She liked it!
"You are just getting very tall Liambean!" she poked his side and grinned. "Well I promise I won't ask you to eat a chili... oh that sounds so nasty!" she squealed a bit at the idea, her mouth would be on fire! Her eyes then found the next guest and it was no one other than Flora!
"I always miss you and your beautiful face!" she said and hugged Flora. God she loved the curly hair and everything magical about her. "You look amazing!" she then spun around as everyone seemed to agree on truth or dare!
"You can smooch me all you want Vi! You have the softest lips!" she said with a smirk and waited for Vi to pick truth or dare. When she said dare Clary gasped, this was going to be good!

Walking into the Room of Requirement, Aggy's eyes swept over the room in a cursory glance, deciding... did she actually want to be here? She'd gotten an invitation from Viola, a bubbly yet airheaded Ravenclaw in fourth year, and she did need a break from studying. But as she overheard a gang of fourth years talking about truth or dare, she cringed a little because yeah, that wasn't her scene.
Passing them by, Aggy gave only Liam Jordan a little wave before heading over to the punch, brows raised. She wondered if anyone had gotten to it yet, maybe spiked it with some vodka. After pouring a little in a cup, she took a small sip before pulling a face. No vodka in sight, that was something. A boring something, actually.
Discarding her cup in the bin, she resolved that if she was going to get a drink later, she'd grab a fresh cup and guard it with her life. She didn't trust anyone else minding it. Not after... no, she wasn't going down that route tonight. She refused to. Tonight was going to be different than the last time she'd gone to the party, it had to be. She was going to have some sort of fun tonight.
Waiting by the drink table, Aggy hoped that somebody exciting or who'd at least enjoyably argue with her, would show up soon.
