With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Kiernan was tossed off his broom by a teammate and though he was a big guy the dude demanded he'd go to the bloody hospital. With a sigh he was sitting there, moping was more like it. He didn't want to run into gay backstreet boy or anyone else really. He just wanted to go home and nurse his pride.
A woman he recognized passed by and he just got up and moved over to her so he could basically have a doctor tell him he can go without issues. Sure he was in pain but he wasn't going to suffer if he didn't have to.
"Chas! hold up!" he said and basically limped his way over to her.

Chastity had come to the conclusion that training as a healer in the potion and plant poisoning department was the best option as a career for her. It meant she got to work around potions, learn the best way to mix ingredients and get the most use out of them, the way certain ingredients reacted to the environment around them (the exact heat, being mixed by a wooden or bronze spoon, being left to chill for exactly 5 minutes and 32 seconds) and there was no harm in expanding her knowledge of poisons - her favourite had always been cyanide but that was limited and wasn’t always guaranteed to go right. But training as a healer meant she had to deal with people. Most of the patients she dealt with were fine - they were normally too sick to talk to her because poisoning does that to a person but she did get the odd patient here and there who had burnt themselves with a corrosive potion or the odd idiot who had decided to taste a tiny bit of his home made assassionation weapon.
Or, as the recognisable voice of a certain Kenmare Kestrals Beater rang out behind her, the occasional Quidditch player who couldn’t stay on his broom.
“I still specialise in potion and plant poisoning, Kiernan, not injuries caused by idiots falling off broomsticks.” She spun on her black stiletto heel to face him. “So unless you think you lost your balance because someone slipped a little something into your pregame drink, I won’t help you.” She couldn’t deny the man was handsome; seeing him always stirred a feeling in her that she didn’t always appreciate because there was only one way to get rid of it and if she slept with him, well it would only boost his already oversized ego. “Though, I will certainly shake the hand of whoever slipped you a little something.” Her smile was sweet but obviously fake.

Kiernan wasn't keen to walk into the one guy he was avoiding and yet he was in his bloody work place because some asshole decided to gun for Kiernan specifically and caused him to injure his leg. Kiernan wasn't one to deny he needed his leg for more than just quidditch and he just needed it fixed fast before someone showed up.
Kiernan rolled his eyes when Chastity got snippy about her position. Yes he knew she was a poisonous one, he knew too damn well and he sighed. "The wound is infected and normal healing isn't helping." he told her and looked around for a second. His two colored eyes not wanting any surprises, especially from behind.
"Can you just look at it? Maybe I'll let you slip something in my water so you can make a fool out of me.. outside of the hospital." he didn't need him there to take advantage of that.

Infected wound? Honestly that was a new one for Kiernan. Normally it was just bruising or dislocations (okay she liked helping with the dislocations because the pain it caused patients as you reset them brought her a strange sense of happiness). Must have been some fall, she wondered what height he fell from. If it was infected it sounded like something was lodged in the wound. A splinter from his broom perhaps? Or a grass seed or sand? It could be anything, even a literally bug or egg. Okay, maybe it was interesting enough to get her to have a glance at it.
“I don’t drink so buy me a new good sketchpad and you have yourself a deal.” She bargained with him. It was a fair trade - good sketchpads weren’t the cheapest thing to buy and she was running low on pages so if she didn’t have to buy one then all the better for her. She looked around for a room not in use and wandered over to a door 7 foot away from them.
“In.” Her tone was full of authority and stern as she opened the door and indicated for him to enter.

Kiernan counted this as a small victory as he could basically see the wheels in Chastity's brain spin. Honestly sometimes he didn't understand the woman but she was hot and one of the smartest people he knew. Kiernan ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
"You got it, it's a date." he said and followed her to a room. Honestly he was actually quite pleased with himself even when it meant suffering from pain in his leg. He had no idea how it happened but he felt like he might have gotten a cut or maybe it was internal bleeding that needed out.
"Yes ma'am." the irish guy said with a smirk and headed into the room, he just took a seat and frowned for a moment.

She could hear the smirk in his voice as he wandered past her. Fuck, what had she just agreed to? For an intelligent woman you can be annoyingly idiotic at times, she thought to herself with a sigh.
“You need to show me the wound, tell me exactly what happened and if you’re on anything I should know about. Seriously, it’s like you’ve never been to a doctor before.” She rolled her eyes as she turned around to put on a pair of rubber gloves. They may be wizards but still the best way to protect herself from potential blood-borne diseases was rubber gloves. She knew there was some spells that healers could cast to help prevent the spread of things like that but she knew they weren’t fool proof. You didn’t know what possible potions could be coursing through their veins that could interfere with any magic she may use. She had to ensure he was clean before she risked anything like that. That’s what people didn’t think of - yes healers were all about making sure their patients were safe and well but they had to be concerned about themselves as well. Healers had purposely been infected by patients before.
“Did the Quidditch healers give you anything or do anything before sending you here?”
Kiernan wasn't an idiot no matter what Chas was thinking of him. He knew damn well that if the team healer saw his leg they would've fixed it but the thing is he didn't want them to look at it because they would tell the coach and he needed to stay on the team without injuries. Kiernan just took a seat and cocked his head when he watched Chastity put on gloves. The way she did it made him fear fo rhis life and he suddenly didn't know how good of an idea this was.
"I am not stupid I know what you mean." he told her and sighed. "So this beater came at me, hit me hard but what no one saw was that his broom cut my leg open. I managed to hide it from everyone else and shake it off but with practice everyone will notice. Besides my brother is like a woman and talks way too much and could sell me out without meaning to." he told her and shrugged his shoulders.
Kiernan pulled his jeans up and sighed. "I tried healing spells but I am shit at those." he told her and watched Chastity's movements for a bit. He didn't want anyone else to know. "I trust you more than them."
