With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

HISTORY
At three weeks early, Chastity and her twin brother Austin came as a shock, but nice surprise, to their parents. Muggle doctors at first were concerned for Hazel and the twin babies and insisted on them staying in the hospital, but sent them home just a few days later. They were raised in the muggle world, and just like their mother, knew nothing of the magic that their father had or his world. Up until the twins 7th birthday, life was pretty uneventful.
The twins 7th birthday however, brought chaos to the house. Austin made his toy cars fly around his bedroom, showing his first signs of magic. After this happened, Leon sat the family down and spent the evening telling his wife and children about the wizarding world. Naturally, it excited Chastity and her brother, and they were bouncing all over the place, while it confused Hazel on how her husband could keep something so big from them all, and a few months later, after a lot of thought, filed for divorce from him. She just felt like she couldn’t trust him anymore.
The divorce was finalized two weeks after the twins 8th birthday. They still went out as a family, but Daddy just didn’t live at home with them anymore. One day, when Chastity was about 8 ½, Hazel was trying to get her dressed into a fancy dress for her Grandma and it just kept shrinking and enlarging each time she tried to push it over her daughter’s head. Chastity was thrilled that she was finally showing magic because Austin was, and still is, always saying he’s more experienced because he got his magic a year and a half before her.
Nothing super exciting happened in the next few years except from their dad started dating a half blood witch named Maria when they were 10. She was nice to the twins and did her best to get along well with them. A year later, they got their acceptance letters to Hogwarts. Chastity was sorted into Ravenclaw while Austin was sorted into Gryffindor. They were both relieved they hadn’t been sorted into the same house so they had some time apart.
Whilst Chastity was enjoying her first year at Hogwarts, a custody battle was taking place back at home. Her father wanted to move away from England, and start his new family with Maria in Italy, but he wasn't willing to give up his rights to his own children and they all got caught in the middle. In the end, due to being at school, the judge gave her mother full custody of the twins whilst her father had visitation rights and vacations with the twins as long as there was written permission from Hazel.
Just before her sixth year, Chas learnt what love felt like when she met an Italian boy named Nico on a holiday to her father over the summer - better yet was that he was a wizard and no need for secrets. Through her sixth year and most of the way through her seventh year, she started a relationship with Nic, that ventured as far as to make her love him. Towards the end of her seventh year though, she got a letter from Nic that wasn’t actually meant for her. It was addressed to a girl named Ellie and it covered details of their upcoming nuptials. She kept acting as though she knew nothing and confronted Nic about it during a term break visit and that was when he revealed a nasty secret - he was engaged and everything that had happened had all just been a big game to entertain himself. This not only left Chastity completely heart shattered, but it tore her mental and emotional states to pieces. The darkness that had lived just under the surface for years finally started showing through the cracks and she ended up destroying a lot of her belongings after graduation.
During the summer following graduation, she disappeared. Not even Austin could find her. She spent the summer travelling, learning potion techniques from various countries and healers. Eventually, in October 2017 she resurfaced in Wales, in a cheap apartment. Though still constantly flooded with dark thoughts and filled with hatred from her shattered heart, she needed something to focus on and threw herself head first into her art and applied for a trainee position at St Mungos in the Potion and Plant Poisoning department.

It had been raining all week, couldn’t they have a single day break? He just wanted to go outside! Now, he wasn’t one to not go out in the rain (he was Scottish, if he didn’t like going out in the rain then he’d never leave the damn house) but he drew the line when trees were pretty much bent over at a 90° angle thanks to 70km per hour winds. The wind was howling around the edges of the Ravenclaw tower and the rain was hammering against all the windows as he wandered down to the common room. At least down there he wouldn’t be alone in his hatred of the weather.
The fire was roaring merrily, looking inviting but of course it was already surrounded by a hoard of firsties complaining that they hadn’t been received their package of goodies from mummy and daddy recently because of the rain. Yeah, that kind of complaining is one he couldn’t deal with. Actually that wasn’t complaining - that was whining. Idea one crossed off the list - reading by the fire. Idea two - entertain oneself by sitting in the corner casting any spells or hexes he had learnt at the before mentioned group of whining first years.
The red head boy took a seat at the unused chess board in the corner of the room and started reviewing his spell knowledge. There was the leglocking curse, that would be hilarious if they didn’t notice until standing up, or the tripping jinx whenever someone stood up, the tickling charm...oh wait, there was the blindfolding charm they had just learnt! Perfect. A smirk spread over his face as he lined up his first cast. What a great way to spend an afternoon!
