With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Sometimes with school pressuring Ollie into many different directions she could lose track of her beloved family. She adores her siblings like they are her own because to Ollie they are. The girl was adopted when she was only four years old and she never felt more loved and accepted than in this family that she cherished with her entire heart. Sure there are siblings who are rebels, don't appreciate being orphans but they are all loved the same.
Ollie wanted to see her big sister, she had missed Josie and with Josie no longer being in school she really wanted to catch up with her. She went to work for the ministry and though they were right now being so hard on werewolves, she didn't judge Josie for trying to make a difference.
The blonde girl was seated in the three broomsticks and waited for her big sister to come.

We're sisters
Cause we are the helpless, selfish, one of a kind Millennium kids, that all wanna die Walking in the street with no light inside our eyes We are the worthless, cursed with too much time We get into trouble and lose our minds Something that I've heard a million times in my life Generation Why
josephine truly missed her family, the ministry was a hard place to work, josephine rarely got time off and when she did she tended to spend that time with her family, though most were at hogwarts, it was hard to see them, though some disagreed with her future career claiming it was inhumane, josephine wanted to make a difference on the world, even if that was encouraging her sister and being there for her.
the three broomsticks wasn't josephine's first choice, that would always be the ice cream parlour, though she could do with a drink after the day she'd had, so it wasn't a bad place to meet. after getting a drink at the bar, josephine spotted her little sister, sitting at one of the tables, josephine had wondered how long olivia had been there for, though by the look of her drink, it hadn't been long.
"imagine seeing you here on a lovely day like today." josephine had taken the seat opposite of her, "you know it's dangerous times to be alone, i'm sorry i was late."
Ollie was excited to see Josie, she missed her big sister and her hugs. She loved hugging her siblings, it was one of the few things Ollie would never get tired of doing. Ollie looked up to her siblings, especially her older ones. She had brothers who were detectives for the muggle police but she also had siblings in the ministry and as healers. Ollie definitely wanted to become a healer, she had been studying so hard to get that to happen.
Once her eye caught her sister she smiled brightly, Ollie's bright blue eyes looking at Josie. She wanted to get up and hug her sister but instead she stayed seated, she felt like Josephine didn't want a hug from her at the moment. She still had a smile on her face though and nodded as Josephine spoke to her. She knew it was dangerous times but Ollie didn't want that to ruin her freedom and stop her from enjoying her life.
"I am careful I promise." she assured her. "Don't be sorry! I actually craved butterbeer so I got that instead of ice cream. It's nice and cold too!" Ollie looked at Josie.
"How are you? How's your work?" she asked curiously.

it was so easy to tease ollie, josephine had to remind herself to refrain herself, otherwise she'd come off as mean and that wasn't something josephine tended to be, sure she was cutthroat but never to her little sister. but being outside alone wasn't something josephine would ever recommend - especially in the climate they live in, she considered it too dangerous and danger was something josephine could handle but in her eyes, school kids should be carefree and worry-free.
"i'm only joking ollie, stop being so serious. and i'm sure you're careful but it's not you i'm particularly worried about." josephine told her, taking a sip of her own drink, though josephine did add alcohol to her's. "anywhere's nice to meet up, especially if it's safe."
as for work, josephine really didn't know what to say, it's not like she wasted away her day but being a trainee was quite annoying, she didn't have her own freedom and the paperwork was awful - best not tell ollie that, it would probably put her off the ministry for life.
"It's just like any other job, you go there, do the work, go home, relax, or well try to relax, but mum and dad aren't very into relaxing, did you know they're redecorating and it's stressful for them, so when you go home, don't be alarmed, it's just the kitchen. anyway, we should talk about more interesting things, how's school? your n.e.w.t's should be coming up soon."
Ollie often didn't see the difference between teasing and reality. She couldn't help it that she was oblivious to most things like sarcasm or anything like it. She knew about the dangers but didn't think it would involve her whatsoever. The werewolves were a threat and Ollie was worried sometimes that Josie wasn't as careful as she was supposed to be either. Working at the ministry was scary wasn't it?
"Are you safe Josie?" she asked her softly and looked at her sister with her big blue eyes. Ollie loved her family, they are all so good to her and she wanted her sister to feel safe and secure just as much as her sister wanted the same for her.
"They're redecorating the entire house?" She asked with big eyes. "That is a huge job!" she spread her arms a bit. "Are our brothers and sisters helping them?" she asked and thought about her mother bossing everyone around. Whenever they went to redecorate the whole house was turned upside down and it's a large house.
"Are you sure it's just the kitchen? Last time daddy said he was only going to do David's room and it ended up being all our bedrooms." she said and looked at Josie who asked about school.
"School is going well, I got good grades and I really think I can get basic healing down." she said softly and smiled. "I really want to be a healer.. I know it's not like Marcus, he is a surgeon in a muggle hospital but maybe I can make a difference as a doctor here."

we're sisters
miami vice with the la lights we joyride late in the night i don't mind you know what you like yeah, you know what you like
josephine was confused by the sudden worry she brought upon her sister, surely hogwarts students shouldn't be worrying about the state of the outside world already, she knew the werewolf attacks were being documented but when she was younger she just expected others to take care of that problem.
"of course i'm being safe! i work with the best, i'm the safest i'm ever going to be working at the ministry. i don't work outside the ministry much, once i'm a fully trained auror." it wasn't a full lie, josephine just didn't want to worry her sister more, telling her that she spent more time indoors wasn't necessarily a lie, she just handled crimes which were low risk and filed a lot of paperwork. "i'm as safe at the ministry as you are at hogwarts."
"trust me, any spare time anybody has is spent redecorating, you're lucky not to be home right now, they'll probably start the dinning room soon, if we're lucky it'll be done by the time you come home, if not, you'll be roped in too." josephine joked, though she truly hoped that wasn't the case, decorating wasn't enjoyable and josephine certainly didn't want to say her cooking attempt caused the need for redecoration.
"dad won't be doing any other room anytime soon, i'm surprised he hasn't started already, he just started on the kitchen because there was an incident, which lead to a new kitchen needing put in." to say josephine didn't want to implicate herself was an understatement, and olivia was too sweet to laugh at her for her mistakes.
being a healer would suit ollie well, she was caring and kind and wanted the best for people, so it wasn't a surprise to know that healing was in her future, "i'm so proud of you! you're doing so well." josephine reached over to hug olivia, "i wouldn't compare yourself to others either, the muggle and wizarding world is super different too. you'll be an excellent healer and if that's what you want to be i'll support you."
Ollie adored her family, she really did but when they started working on the house and redecorate it was just full on chaos. Sure she'd help when she was home but her mother already told her she should stay at Hogwarts with some siblings so she could spread joy to kids who didn't have a home to go to. It was tough to see kids not have what she had so she'd make them gifts and give them a reason to smile.
"Safe is good. Nothing can hurt me at Hogwarts, it is why mum lets me stay there for Christmas. I am going to make the others presents and spread some joy to the kids who don't have a home to go to." she told her with a bright smile. "It will be fun!" she said with a grin. "Besides, it keeps Clary out of the dumpsters!" She didn't know why her sister liked dumpster diving so much but one day she might get hurt from it.
"A kitchen incident? Oh dear. No one got hurt did they?" she asked and bit her lip for a moment. Ollie returned the hug and giggled when Josie said she was proud of her. Yes healing was the best thing she could do with herself, she was sure of it. "Thank you! I really want this, help people here the best way I know how." people in the hospitals always needed help so she could help them there. "Do you think it will be very tough?"
