With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Cassidy had been writing a friend for a long tme and she was very excited to welcome him at Hogwarts. It sounded a little sad that one of her few friends because she barely had any, was someone she wrote from overseas. But here she was holding out a basket of muffins she got from the kitchen and a smile on her face as she waited in the courtyard to meet him.
Cassidy wanted to be welcoming, wanted to be a good friend. The blonde was a bit nervous, she wasn't really good at what she was going to say. The girl was shifting back and forth and chewed on her bottom lip.
Cassidy looked around maybe way more than she thought she would. She had no idea really what to say to people. The blonde then spotted her friend at last and let out a relieved sigh.
"Hey Raouf!" she said and smiled a bit. Her friend sadly got sorted into Slytherin but as long as he was happy she wasn't going to judge.
Raouf was still a little at loss for where things were. He didn't have the best sense of direction, so it had been a relief to know that Cassidy wanted to meet somewhere he could find easily. They hadn't seen each other on the train- Raouf had been caught up on another reunion and hadn't really had the time or mental strength to find Cassidy. He had been grateful to receive a little note to meet her. He had brought nothing but himself, hoping that there was no gift-giving that was expected to happen. He walked outside to the courtyard, his eyes running through the many people that were out today at lunchtime. He'd only met Cass once, but was sure he'd be able to identify her again. As he looked, he noticed the girl who called out his name and gave her a small smile. It was Cassidy with a basket in her hand. He glanced down at his own empty hands, a little unsure. Was he supposed to bring her something as well?

Cassidy didn't feel bad that her and Raouf didn't meet at the train, she had been spending her train time with Casey laughing at stupid things and making photos with each other before falling asleep. Truth be told she was happy to have both her friends here. Even if she never would get any more of them, she had Casey and Raouf who meant the world to her.
She smiled brightly as Raouf came near and held out the basket. "I thought we could eat some muffins together and talk about your first impressions of this school." she suggested and grinned a bit.
"I am alright! I actually made some photos earlier of these two birds in a tree, they looked so cute and I am really going to miss the summer weather soon." she rambled a bit and eyed the muffins.
"I hope you're not allergic.. I totally forgot to ask for allergies.."
