With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Rae was still adjusting to the adult life. Only a few months ago did she graduate from school and became an intern for the daily prophet. They didn't let her write anything major yet but she had hope that one day they would. The brunette needed to celebrate her new job with her sister, talk about their summers. Would she tell Devon that she was now dating an quidditch player? Hell nope. There were things sisters didn't need to know until Rae was ready to tell them. Which in her case might be never.
Rae walked into the bar her sister owned and waved at Shay, giving her a smooch on the cheek before seating herself barside. "Where is my doofus of a sister?" she asked and put her brand new camera on the bar, flashing its existence to the world. Rae was a proud woman and this job could change her life.
"Devon! Doofus! I am here!" she announced herself, arms spread as if she was not obvious enough.

Devon had been overworking herself due to losing one of her bartenders and was trying to find new help around her inn. It was hard to manage the place, but she had a couple of people she trusted that could run the place while she was out doing errands. Today of all days though, it was only her and Shay working the inn. Thankfully it wasn’t that busy and both of them managed without having an incident with any customer. The woman was in the back when she heard a voice from her sister, causing her to smile and listen to her talk to Shay.
”One sec!” she called as she waved her wand to clean up the mess that she had made five minutes prior to her sister entering her place of business. A sigh left her as she grabbed a cloth, wiping off her hands and headed out, smiling at her baby sister. ”Well, well, the new Hogwarts graduate.” she said and looked at her sister for a moment, eyeing the camera. ”And what is this?” she asked as she gestured toward it, knowing that can be her sister's most prized possession.

There were times where Rae really thought she would never, ever, graduate from Hogwarts. Sometimes she expected to be long dead rather than being able to actually walk into the world as a legit adult. The girl had much to learn of course, she wasn't going to deny it but she needed this adult life so much more than the student life. With an arched brow she watched her sister appear and there was a small smile as her sister addressed her graduation status.
"The one and only," she replied and eyed the camera that her sister noticed. "Well, I got a job at the prophet as a photographer and this is my priced possession." Rae said with a chuckle and handed her sister the camera. "Be careful, it's new." Rae added and looked around the bar. "Can I have a drink? something strong please," she added and sat down on the stool.
