With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Flirtatious Devon has always been a charming woman, having flirted her way through life and had many lovers in the past. The female isn't afraid to flirt with anyone in her bar and has no shame. She was never 100$ loyal to the people she had dated through the years. The only time she was loyal was when she was married.
Overachiever Coming from a family who had successful careers and lives to this day, it isn't all that surprising that Devon found her way through life. She had a lot of knowledge while she was in school and even studied to become a professor one day but her husband had stopped her dreams from coming true.
Easily Jealous Sure, she was never 100$ loyal to her ex's, but when she loves someone and they're hanging with other people; she'd lose it. Her ex-husband found it adorable, but it was a rather ugly side of her personality. No one would want to see her go into a rage. It ain't pretty.
Reckless Since she was a child, Devon would often get herself into situations where she'd needed to be bailed out of by her siblings or a close friend. She'd make sudden decisions and not care about the consequences of her actions.

Childhood: Devon is the second child of four, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland to two Pureblood parents. As mentioned in Dexter’s history, they had grown up in a loving home until Desmond Callaghan lost his job at St. Mungo’s Hospital and turned into a mentally abusive father who threatened to beat his children but never dared to lay a hand on them (Monica Callaghan would put the fear of God in him).
Hogwarts Years 1-6: Devon was sorted into Gryffindor house, the very house her grandfather was sorted into and was quite proud of herself. At the young age of eleven Devon started to love Astronomy, dreaming of walking in that professor’s footsteps one day. Her father heard about her hopes and dreams, telling her to give up on it because Astronomy wasn’t a fun subject. Her mother, on the other hand, told her to not listen to her father and go for whatever she wanted. Devon, of course, listened to her mother. Much to her father's dismay.
By her second year at Hogwarts, Devon on a dare decided to try out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and even though she didn’t think she’d get a spot, she did. The female decided play and played as the team’s Keeper. Some say she was one of the best the house had seen in a long time. Of course, she believed that was total bullshit, knowing that she was playing in the very spot a few good keepers played in the past.
Final Year & Meeting Paul: When Devon’s final year arrived, she continued to keep her grades up and play Quidditch for the final time. She had no intention of playing for the professionals but was scouted when she graduated from Hogwarts. Her father told her to try out for The Holyhead Harpies, but she didn’t want to give up her dream job in teaching one day and decided against it. Sure, this was a decision she would regret one day. Missing her chance of becoming famous, she didn’t care.
Devon met Paul (seven years older) while attending a Quidditch game and things had hit off quick. Their relationship started romantic, and he even met her parents a few times. Her father loved the man that would soon become his son-in-law and Devon was engaged and married by the time she was 22 years old - another thing she would regret later on in life.
Marriage Turned Toxic, Escape & New Life: The marriage life had turned into somewhat toxic after a year into the marriage. Paul had turned into a manipulative asshole and things had started to go downhill. He managed to stop Devon from going to Hogwarts to teach, not wanting his wife out of his sight and she gave it all up for him. All she wanted was his approval in things and she got a job as a waitress for a short time before he told her to quit and let him worry about bringing money to the table.
When she was 24 years of age, she had found out she was pregnant and not wanting to become a mother at a young age, decided to get rid of it.
A short time later, he started to lay his hand on her after he found out about the abortion, and it made Devon fear for her life. The scared female had written to her father, asking to come by when Paul wasn’t home so she can get away. But Paul had found out that his father-in-law was coming over and decided to stay home that day. Paul somehow knew of her plans on running away but threatened he’d kill her if she were to ever leave him and not to tell her father what was happening. So she had lied to her own father, telling him everything was fine and decided to live a lie.
A couple of years had gone on with his abuse up until April of 2018, she decided to do something about leaving him. It was the middle of the night when Paul was at work that she’d pack up her bags and left a note, saying that she was leaving him - and finally filed for divorce.
Devon had gone back to her home in Belfast, Northern Ireland and spent a few months there taking care of her paternal grandfather until he died in August of 2018. Weeks after the passing of her grandfather, the will was read and to her shock and her father’s, the old man left his fortune and estate to his oldest granddaughter (Devon).
Devon had no idea what to do with the money but decided to go to Hogsmeade to visit an old friend in the following month and got a job at The Three Broomsticks, wanting to be close to her nephews up at the school.
It was quiet for a few months until a student was attacked in Hogsmeade which made Madam Rosmerta want to abandon her beloved business and put it up for sale so she can retire somewhere in Spain.
With the money Devon had inherited months ago, she decided to buy The Broomsticks from the older woman, promising her that she’d take care of it.
As of March 2019, Devon’s divorce was finalized and for the first time in a long time, she felt free.

Especially Mavican. Yes, Mavican Jones. The one person Casey didn't expect to actually like or feel anything for but it was there, and she hated it. She was still discovering who she was and knew that yes, she liked girls and never told anyone. Not even her best friend or even her brothers. No one knew, and sometimes she would find herself staring at the sixth year. She was surprised she wasn't even caught with it, and if she were, she'd just brush it off and say it was nothing. Nothing was bugging her. Casey did have the habit of staring into the distance for a little while. Which had just happened when she was flying and ended up getting smacked by the Quaffle upside the head. It had made her wipeout, and now she was heading back to the dorm, limping and refusing to go to the Hospital Wing.
Why would someone toss the Quaffle at Casey? She had no idea. She was the seeker on the team, but for some reason, she couldn't focus. Mavican wasn't the only distraction happening. The fact her parents had divorced over the summer was also flooding in her mind, and how her father had grunted when he packed up his bags and moved out of the house. Twenty-eight years of marriage down the loo because he wouldn't stop bullying his only daughter.
A sigh had left the short-haired female as she slowly made her way into the dorm, biting down onto her lip. Maybe she should have gone to the Hospital Wing, but lying down in her bunk wouldn't hurt her she figured.
She was embarrassed as it is. The last thing she needed was for the healer to find the bruise in a not so happy place. <p>
There was a happy groan as she took off her robes, tossing them on her trunk and ended up smacking her knee on the said trunk. "OW! Son of a..."
