With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Leaning against one of the bookshelves in the North Wing, his hair perfectly tousled if he did say so himself, Matheus knew he looked like the epitome of hot student as he waited for Raouf to show up and teach him a lesson. A lesson of vanishing and conjuring, which, of course, would come in handy later when Matheus managed to conjure Raouf into his bedroom and vanish his clothing straight off his fit body into Merlin-knew-where. It was a plan, but only one that would be enacted on with Raouf's explicit consent because consent was sexy and Matheus was all for it.
As the Slytherin man walked through the doors, a casual but charming grin slid onto Matheus' lips. "Are you ready to show me how you handle your wand?" he teased, before moving into a more serious tone of voice. "But nah, really, thank you for agreeing to meet me." The serious tone didn't last for long as Matheus' eyes shone with amusement as he joked, "I'd have asked Ryker for help but I was worried she'd eat me and not in a sexy way, more like a tear me limb-from-limb way."
Raouf wasn't sure exactly what had spurred him to accept Matheus' request for tutoring, something between his puppy-dog eyes and the honest way he spoke about his ambitions to better his grades. Matheus wasn't someone who was particularly liked to be subtle in his advances, but the Slytherin had seem him rejected enough times to know that the boy was just chasing after some laughter. He had his Transfiguration textbooks in his bag, including the extension ones just in case it turned into solo practice. He was trying to mentally prepare himself for a session of tutoring and he had no indication of how it would turn out...If Matheus would even be there at all!
He rounding the corner and through the doors, there the Gryffindor stood. He leant against a bookshelf and smirked...if he was trying to look cool and sexy he certainly achieved his goal, but Raouf wasn't too amused. He placed the bag on a nearby chair, acting as if he were going to ignore the comment completely. In reality, he was struggling to find a biting comment that would zip Matheus' lips. He didn't have long before the other boy followed it up with an expression of gratefullness and Raouf found himself nodding. "You're welcome. As long as you take this session seriously, I will be willing to work with you."
Raouf turned towards Matheus, giving a derisive snort as he mentioned Ryker. "No one should be taking Ryker's instruction. She may be skilled enough to learn to be an animagus but she's not smart enough to know when and where to use it. Cannibalism isn't sexy by the way...it's horrific." His reply was in deadpan, but there was a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "In any case, you mentioned you wanted to work on conjuring spells? Is this correct?"

When Raouf walked in, looking angelic with his curls framing his head like a halo, Matheus wanted to ask him if he'd ever considered sinning instead of playing the good boy for a change, but judging by rhe way Raouf looked wholly unamused by his previous comment... he'd have to reserve that particular remark for later. It was a shame, but he really did need Raouf's help with Transfiguration. "Do I get punished if I'm cheeky?" he settled for saying instead which... wasn't any better, so he changed tones a split second later. He could be serious as O'Connor when he needed to be, but that side just didn't come out to play very often. "Do you want me to give you something for helping me out with this? I mean, I haven't got any grana to pay you with, but..."
Raouf's opinion on Ryker didn't seem too high, but for the most part... Matheus had been unaffected by her sudden transformation into an animagus during class. "Wagtail - he provoked her. Maybe she shouldn't have turned into a jungle animal, but I think she just wanted to scare him and get him off her dick since he's been at her for weeks," he said with a shrug. Ryker was somebody he considered a friend - even more than that once upon a time - and he'd back her even if she did need to control her feisty little temper. A loud guffaw escaped Matheus, however, when Raouf caught him off-guard by remarking 'cannibalism isn't sexy.' "Yeah, okay. Point taken. I'll mark that down in my diary, just in case I forget. I'll credit you too, so when we're dead, that statement lives on." A mischievous grin had slowly spread it's way across Matheus' lips once more, one he went to share with Raouf.
"Yeah, conjuring spells. I just can't get them to work - that one with the birds? Avis. I can't get it to work half the time. I'd never admit this normally, but I think it's the way I'm gripping my wand or flicking it that I'm having problems with." Despite the wiggle of his brows Matheus directed towards Raouf, acknowledging that yes he had purposefully phrased his sentence that way to be an innuendo, he was being serious. He suspected his wand work was the reason he was having trouble and despite reading the demonstration books over and over in the dorm, he couldn't get it right.
