With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Just writing to say "Thanks" for practicing with me. It really helped in class.
Okay. That isn't the only reason why I'm writing. I don't mean to sound like an uneducated dolt when I say this, but...Where are you from? I don't think I've ever met anyone with a name like yours. In truth, the furthest I've been in my life is France, and that was once a long time ago. You transferred, right?

To Rodrik,
It was a nice learning experience and I enjoyed the company.
I am from Egypt, although my mother is English. I attended the Uagadou School of Magic which is located in Uganda. About as far away from Egypt as Scotland but I recieved my Dream vision from Uagadou first, much to the chagrin of my mother. What would you like to know? Junaid also attended the school, albeit in a younger grade than me.
My first name is Arabic, and not too common. My last name is Nashaat, which, seeing as it came from my father, means it is a Coptic Christian surname. I hope this clears things up for you.
Please if you have anymore questions, I am more than willing to answer. From Raouf
Egypt? Have you ever seen the Pyramids? Or any of those ancient temples? The adventure books I read make them sound so... cool, and my brother Damian never shuts up about them either. He fancies himself a Curse Breaker one day, interning at Gringotts and whatnot.
A Dream vision? So we here, in the UK, get plain old letters carried by an owl and you people get visions? What can you tell me about Uagadou? How does it look? What did you learn there? Is there something they teach here that you didn't have there or vice versa?
To answer your first question, I lived in Cairo when I was young which...if you can remember from your brother's fascination..is practically Giza at this point. They are technically separated, I believe, but we are connected. I have seen them, with my late father and my mother, on many separate occasions. Unfortunately I have not been to many temples, or at least the ones I assume your brother talks about. Perhaps your brother and I would get along? My dream is to become a cursebreaker however my marks are beginning to tell me my talents lay in another direction.
I believe they are called Dream Messengers, they enter your dreams and leave you with a token for the morning when you wake up. You have to believe me when I say that Uagadou cannot be described, it is stunning and...for lack of a better word, absolutely magical. We learn much of the same things here, however I suppose some lessons for neglected in favour of Alchemy and Transfiguration. I am very good at those two things in comparison to many Hogwarts students but I find myself behind in things such as History of Magic and the practicals of Herbology.
I never liked big cities, they stress me out. Then again, I have lived in a remote home in south Scotland my whole life, so I wouldn't really know. My brother, Damian, graduated last year. He's currently working as a Gringotts intern. Maybe I should ask him to come to King's Cross in the summer so you two can have a chat?
Oh, that's so cool! I'm even a little bit jealous, because we have crumbling castles left and right. Okay, not all of them have winding staircases and corridors that keep switching where they lead, but... We don't even have Alchemy here, I don't think. Unless it's like a club for the best of the best in potions, which I am definitely not, so if there is an Alchemy club at Hogwarts, I am not aware of it.
I hope it's not terribly rude of me to ask, but why did you transfer?
