With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
This game was brutal and Sally was on the completely other side of the pitch when she noticed the bludger skyrocketing towards Skylar. Oh, shit. She wasn't going to get there in time, she knew she wasn't, and Sally shouted at the top of her lungs at the other beater in hopes they'd hear her and pick up their goddamn game because -
Sally didn't even see the bludger sent her way until it was far too late, and she let out a blood-curdling scream as it smashed into her shin at full-speed, white hot pain pulsing through her leg like she'd never felt before. A high-pitched ringing sounded in Sally's ears, and before she could so much as breathe, her eyes rolled back in her skull and the sight of bright blue sky up above greeted her before everything went black.

Emil caught the Quaffle from Wolfgang easily, tucking it under his arm and heading toward the goalposts. As could be expected from a championship game, it was close and competitive. But that only meant they needed to score again to keep the favor tilted toward Ravenclaw. With an intense focus on Hufflepuff's Keeper, he wove through the other players on the pitch, trying to get himself into position to shoot for the goal again.
And then a screech echoed across the pitch, pulling Emil out of his intentness by the sheer amount of pain he could hear in the voice. For that, he reacted in an instant. Yes, he was Ravenclaw's oldest Chaser, and yes, he wanted to win. But he was also Head Boy, and as he turned his broom around and saw the girl fall from the sky, his compassion wouldn't let him stay where he was. Rocketing in her direction, he prayed that he would get there before she hit the ground, his heart in his throat.
As he came ever closer, he realized half-consciously that there was no way he could catch an entire person in only one arm, and he flung the Quaffle away from himself, up in the air, hoping that Wolfgang would perform some miracle and snatch it before it fell. With one final push, he reached his arms out, wrapping them around the falling girl in the last second before she would've hit the ground hard. But with the speed he was going so close to the ground, the force of catching her slammed his own legs into the earth, and sparks flew behind his eyes as pain shot through the leg that had been broken at the Winter Ball. He rolled onto his back as he fell, trying to keep both his broom and the Hufflepuff player from smashing into the ground, and when he finally came to a stop with all of it laying on top of him, he felt like he could barely move. The girl was dead weight on top of him, and his leg was pulsing with pain as if the Bludger had hit him instead. He scrunched his eyes shut, waiting for someone to come help.
Jonah had expected as much from Avery when he made the pass signal and didn't even bother giving him the Quaffle. The male was disappointed in his teammate, and he let out a low growl. But luckily for Hufflepuff, Gabe managed to score and Jonah watched the game before him, eyeing the Ravenclaw chasers when they got the Quaffle once more before all hell broke loose and he heard the scream coming from one of his beaters. His eyes on the girl as it seemed that she passed out from the pain. "Sally!" he had called and started to fly towards her and eyed the Ravenclaw chaser chasing her down while holding the Quaffle. The hell? It confused the male for a moment before he watched as the Quaffle was flung up into the air by the Ravenclaw and Jonah managed to intercept the ball.
The Hufflepuff male flew back up, ignoring the fact that a Ravenclaw and one of his beaters were down on the ground. He was going not to disappoint his team, and he would check on Sally later in the hospital wing. He headed straight for the Ravenclaw goal posts, looking around for any sign of his fellow chasers.

Wolfgang watched the circus unfold from high above. Emil had caught his pass, all was well, until he had decided to play the damn hero and go help the Hufflepuff beater. Did he forget that there is a stadium full of wizards and that there were safety charms in place to help deal with these situations? Or was he so eager to play the knight in shining armor?
Either way, Emil had tossed the Quaffle aside and there had been no way for Wolfgang to catch it. Hufflepuff had the ball once more.
Not for long, if he could help it.
Turning his broom around, he swept down to assist his goalkeeper, on purpose flying as close to JONAH STEVENS as he could to make him feel some turbulence and make a mistake if he decided to toss.
when there's nowhere else to run/is there room for one more son?

The Beaters were really going after him, weren't they? Skylar heard the Bludger before he was able to see it, but as Sally blazed past him toward it, he figured he would be alright, and let her go after it while he continued searching for the Snitch. But everything after that seemed to happen in a blur. Sally's scream echoed through the air, followed by the whoosh of the Bludger still aimed right at him, and while he twisted wildly on his broom to avoid it, it was too late. The ball slammed into his shoulder, knocking the breath out of him as he gripped his broom with his uninjured left arm just to stay in the air. He gasped, dragging air back into his lungs as other players swooped around, still playing.
With gritted teeth, he flexed the fingers on his right hand to test how good his now twice injured arm was. At least those moved and weren't broken. Dropping out of the game to go to the matron for even a moment wasn't an option, not when this was the championship and he was the Seeker, and so he flew up, above the commotion, to rub his shoulder and get his mind back in the game.

Jonah had flown straight for the goalposts, looking toward Wolfgang and shook his head as he stopped his broom and lifted his arm to act like he was going to throw the Quaffle toward the goalposts, but instead, he stopped and moved forward again, looking for a fellow chaser to toss the damn ball too because he wasn't going to take any chances of losing this ball. "Yo, Avery!" he called to the little jerk and aimed to tossed the Quffale toward his teammate, watching as the ball fly from his own hands.
He was going to pray to God that this child would catch it instead of giving him more shit.

It wasn’t long before the traitor had the ball, and Gabriel knew the game was lost to the team. Their great beater, Sally, had taken a plummet to the ground and Mavican was magically hitting every bludger with deadly precision. The NPC Beater would have to do two times the work, but Gabriel had to keep his mind on the game. He heard his name and with quick reflexes, caught the quaffle that Jonah had sent his way. He gave a curt nod to the boy before he went for a shot at the goal hoops. tag: JONAH STEVENS Note: Gabriel shoots for goal.

The Quaffle flew straight through his teams hoops for the second time that game, and Wolfgang was starting to get angry. Usually he'd be cold blooded, not letting the small setbacks distract him from the big picture, but today was the last game, his fingers hurt like bloody hell, and he felt like he was fending on his own when it came to the Quaffle.
He hurried to get the Quaffle from the teams keeper and assessed the field, looking for his teammates. He couldn't do this alone, Nimbus 2001 or no Nimbus 2001.
"EMIL ZALEWSKI , STOP PLAYING THE HERO AND GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" he yelled in the direction of the chaser before pressing on his broom and nearing the Hufflepuff hoops once more. If Emil would get to him on time, he'd pass the Quaffle and let him shoot...

Casey was staying still in the air as she watched everything happen before her, she eyed as her brother passed the Quaffle to her teammate and moments later Hufflepuff scored. There was low hissing from the female as she snapped out of it, her eyes searching the air for the snitch and spotted it right near one of the Ravenclaw players. Her hands gripped the broom, causing her to zoom right toward the player and in the direction of the snitch. She zoned everything out and focused on the moment, the flying and her will to win this game for her house. She wanted to make her loved ones proud, to make sure they didn't lose to a house full of badgers.
With her hand stretched out to reach for the little golden ball, it decided to make a nose drive right toward the ground. Did that anger her? A little bit but it was to be expected because this goddamn speedster did not want to get caught.
She followed, straight for the ground and with a few more inches, her fingers grasped onto one of its wings and she laughed softly to herself as she covered the snitch with her entire hand before crashing into the ground.
It took a her a few seconds to try to lift herself off the ground with a groan.
