With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Yes! Emil had gotten the Quaffle through the Hufflepuff hoop on his first try. Wolfgang pressed his broom to fly towards the opposite team's keeper, wanting to intercept the Quaffle before the Puff's would get too far from their hoops. He couldn't let Emil take all the glory for scoring, could he?
The Hufflepuff keeper threw the ball at the closest teammate, and Wolfgang attempted to snatch it right out of the player's reach, but he failed to notice the high pitched howl of an entirely different ball -- instead of grabbing the Quaffle, his fingers made contact with the Bludger. At high speeds.
"OUCH!" he yelped, clutching his hands together. The Quaffle was gone and his eyes were full of tears as he hovered above the field. He could feel the blood pumping in his digits, and it took a lot of mental strength to get the chaser to even attempt to move his fingers.
Nothing seemed to be broken, but Good Lord, it hurt. EMIL ZALEWSKI would have to take charge in this round.
(Wolfgang DOESN'T acquire the Quaffle!)

This was becoming a bloodbath and would continue to be so until the game was over. The moment he had witnessed Ravenclaw scoring, he gritted his teeth out of anger and headed straight for the Quaffle as he heard the whistling of the Bludger near his head. There was a low growl from the male as he flew to dodge the Bludger that was hit toward him, giving Mavican a glare. No more nice Hufflepuff. The male knew she can play dirty but he also knew that Casey would want her brother alive after the game.
"Son of a..." he shook his head and tried to intercept the Quaffle for himself but missed.

After Emil scored, he expected all the Chasers on the field to descend on the ball as it was tossed back out in play, but all he saw was one of the Hufflepuffs and not a single one of his own teammates. The reason for it all became obvious as he heard a crack from behind him and a yell from Wolfgang. But even as he hesitated for a moment hearing his own teammate get hurt, as soon as he saw Jonah miss the Quaffle, he leaped right back into action. This could be the chance to take a solid lead early. It would be hard to get 150 points--he wasn't sure if he'd ever scored that many in any game--but if they did, they wouldn't even have to worry about the Seekers.
Swooping down, Emil snatched the Quaffle out of the air, then turned his broom almost vertically, trying to get out of the path of the Hufflepuff Keeper below him so that he could make another shot. But the Keeper was right there with him, and he looked around wildly, hoping someone would be around that he could pass the ball to. Could Wolfgang take the ball, or had the hit been really bad?
Quidditch wasn't very much her favorite sport but Ollie supported her boyfriend and friends alike. The girl was excitedly seated beside her brother and best friend, her eyes on the game and gasping when it looked like someone got their hand hurt. "Oh gosh he must be in pain!" she told David with her big blue eyes wider than usual, she was terrified for people's safety. Why did they have to use those balls to hurt people? that was just unfair and very tough.
"Oh god what if Gabriel gets hurt too? Do i tell him to be careful or will that distract him?" she asked both her best friend and brother as she sat there.

His fingers hurt like bloody hell, but Wolfgang didn't have time to nurse them -- that would require a good ten minutes, and by that time the game could be over. Chewing his lip to try and focus on a different part of his body hurting, he got himself together. During those few brief moments, the Quaffle escaped the grasp of his rival chaser, and Emil had it once more.
Wolfgang dashed towards Emil, lest someone try to interrupt his teammates attack. Seconds later, both Emil and the Keeper were flying straight up, shoulder to shoulder.
Wolfgang could feel his fingers pulsating in pain, but he didn't falter and flew near Emil, his broom pointed in the opposite direction from the duo. Emil passed, Wolfgang squeezed the ball to his chest, and pressed on his broom, trying to fly as close to the hoops as possible to make sure that he'd get the ball in, no matter what.
Wolfgang shoots for the middle hoop!

"Let's go Sal!" The tiny blonde exclaimed through her hands as she cheered her on. To be honest, there were few people she really knew we'll from the teams outside of Sally. She knew the other players by name and face, but to be honest, they'd never had any circumstances that threw them together. "You've got this, girl!" She had managed to meet her through her brother Liam, because he was her best friend and she may have been a bloody fool for him.
Sally was fun and exciting! She seemed to gravitate towards that sort. She bounced excitedly, hoping things would turn in their favor. As much as she probably would've been looked at as a traitor considering Slytherin lost to Hufflepuff-- ehh, she was there to support a friend and enjoy the sport that she loved.

Skylar was focusing hard on the search for the Snitch, but it was impossible to miss the cheer coming up from Ravenclaw's side of the stands when they scored. It doesn't matter, he told himself, Quidditch is really the Seeker's game. He'd grown up admiring his favorite Seekers most of all. That was why he had always been happy about being small and lean enough to be a Seeker, even if it meant some of his classmates were definitely getting a lot taller than him this year.
He kept one eye on Casey, just in case she made a sudden dive for a Snitch that he couldn't see yet, while continuing to scan the pitch for the small glint of gold he needed. Bludgers were flying every which way, perhaps even more than they'd been in the last game, but Skylar had seen Sally in practice all year--he trusted she could keep it from getting too bad.
And hey, at least this time around she wouldn't be putting Dio in the hospital wing--and before that, Skylar had never thought he would be worried about Dio Greyback, but lots of things had changed in the past year. At least that was one thing that he hoped was for the better.
Luckily for Sally, Jonah had enough wits about him to dodge the bludger that had been aimed his way although he failed entirely to intercept the quaffle. "Come on," Sally groaned as she flew past Skylar, sending him a look that conveyed all of her annoyance in one go. She didn't get accused of cheating, then beat the hell up by some Slytherin arsehole only to lose the final game. She wanted to win, and they were never going to if somebody didn't catch this damn quaffle. Whipping her head around to try and find another chaser, Sally hollered, "AVERY! GET YOUR ARS - I MEAN, BUTT INTO GEAR!"
The next thing she knew, a bludger whizzed towards her, thankfully only skimming against her shoulder. "Son of a bitch," she grumbled, before flying after it, hitting it with a satisfying SMACK! towards the seeker again. Then hurtling after the other bludger on the field, she sent it towards the chaser with the curly hair - the not Head Boy. Hopefully one of the bludgers would connect.

This was ridiculous, especially when Wolfgang missed. Goddammit. Mavican let out a growl of annoyance as she watched her bludger barely hit the people she aimed for. She had to admit, they were tough but she wasn't going to give up either. She watched Sally hit the bludger towards Casey and Mavican was right on it's tail, hitting it right at Skylar instead. Anything she could do, Mavican definitely would do better because there was no way in hell she'd let her teammates get hurt.
"Get the quaffle." she shouted at the chasers before hitting Wolfgang's bludger away from him, almost bumping into the guy. "That was close.." she sighed and watched the other bludger go for Avery.

Their Beaters were good, but they couldn't be everywhere. Skylar was reminded of that as a Bludger came hurtling toward him, and even though he made a sharp dodge to the left, it still cracked hard against his right arm. He winced in pain, slowing his broom to a stop to get his bearings back. Lifting up his arm to inspect the damage, he was pretty sure it couldn't be too bad. He could still move his fingers and his elbow, even if that second one made him have to draw in a sharp breath. That was going to be a terrible bruise, he knew it.
But it was nothing game-ending. He wasn't going to have to forfeit the Quidditch Cup so that the hospital matron could yell at him to stay in bed. Honestly, even if it had been broken, he might have pretended it wasn't--but hopefully, he wouldn't have to. Gritting his teeth, he resumed flying before another one of Ravenclaw's Beaters decided to make him a target again, or even just a Bludger with a mind of its own. Catching the Snitch with a bad arm wasn't going to be the easiest, but he could rely on adrenaline. The pain could be dealt with later.

Casey trusted her team's Beater's to not let her get hit by the bludger's. The female knew damn well that she was an easy target because taking out the seeker would mean the other team can win. But what would happen if both seekers end up injured during the game? It was beyond Casey because she had never seen it happen during her years of playing as Seeker. Her main focus was to find that snitch before the other seeker does so she can win this game for her team. The girl didn't want to disappoint her team or family after all.
Casey's heart had stopped for a moment when she saw the bludger heading toward her and she was about to dodge yet another one, but it was smacked away by Mavican. "Thank you!" she called and looked at the other teams seeker with a smirk.
She flew right at him as she searched the pitch for the little golden ball.

Emil watched the Quaffle soar toward the goalposts, but Wolfgang's shot wasn't quite perfect--they hadn't been quick enough to set up a proper shot, had they? Still, as the ball fell toward the ground, they had another chance, as long as Emil could grab it. Turning his broom into a sharp dive, he headed for the flash of red, stretching out his arm as far as possible, as if he were catching the Snitch instead of the Quaffle. If he didn't get it in time, he would smash directly into the ground, but he needed to get the Quaffle before anyone else...
Triumphantly, he pulled out of the dive just five feet above the ground, Quaffle clutched tightly in his right hand. He breathed a sigh of relief, noticing just how close he'd been to the grass below, and flew back upwards. "Wolfgang!" he called out across the pitch, hoping the sixth-year would get into place for a pass--there wasn't much wind today to block their voices, which should help them out. But it would also signal to the Hufflepuffs to cover Wolfgang, so he tossed the ball to his fellow Chaser, before the Hufflepuffs could get in the way, he hoped.
