With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.

Marshall usually considered himself a levelheaded person. He tolerated a lot of things, especially given what he was. Despite this, Marshall was angry as hell and had no intention of hiding it. He wanted to fight someone, something he didn't do often, despite the fact that he did it well when the occasion called for it.
He would have emptied his bank account if it meant that he could have thrown hands with the little weasel that had pissed him off. He'd just been minding his own business when this tiny little mouse of a man declared that he had the right to deny Marshall service and intended to do just that. There was no call or reason for it aside from the fact that Marshall was a, quote' 'monster'. It had taken just about every ounce of his will power to not throw the shopkeeper through his window. At least there was still mail order, but that was hardly the point.
He was in such a state that he didn't notice he'd run into someone until after the collision. He grabbed the person by the arm so they wouldn't fall over. He might have been livid, but he was still decent. "Sorry about that," he grumbled. "You alright?"
While you would see Corrine as someone strong and brave, at times she just looses it. And today was one such day. All of a sudden as she roamed around the hospital, she was hit by the scenes of the attack she witnessed only a few days ago. It was soo fresh in her mind. All those screams and chaos right in front of her eyes. She had found that staying in that place has become increasingly difficult on her mental sate especially after her sudden breakdown. She needed to be away from the place. And that was why one would find the Mungo's healer walking in Diagon alley with her lime green robes over her black skirt and white floral blouse. [break][break]
Corrine was walking around in the alley with no particular aim in her mind. She just wanted a breath of fresh air and some normality. And those were something the alley offered to her. A sense of calmness to her worried and shaky self. The attack on the hospital brought back memories of the previous war for Corrine. While she was only ten years old when the war was happening in the wizarding world, she still remembered the damage the death eaters did to the city of London. [break][break]
Corrine was lost in her thoughts and did not see the other person who was coming towards her until it was too late. And as anyone would guess, she lost her balance and was about to fall down when the wizard caught her. She thanked Merlin for the quick reflexes of the other person. When he apologised, she shook her head a bit and said "oh, not at all, don't be. I am at fault too". While many would instantly blame things like these on others, it was just not Corrine to do such a thing. And thus she found herself saying "I am sorry as well". When the wizard asked if she was alright, she nodded her head and said "yes, all thanks to you Mr.. umm you are? ". Stretching her hand forward she said "I'm Corrine" smiling at the other wizard.
Marshall cleared his throat and released the poor woman who had the misfortune of running into him while he was in his current state. After that thought crossed his mind it was easier to cool down. Marshall didn't usually lose his temper, but when he did he could usually find it again. His grandaddy made sure of that, especially after he'd been bitten by his crazy mother.
"It's alright, ma'am," Marshall said. "I wasn't payin' attention to where I was goin', but I appreciate your willingness to take the blame on it too." He didn't have any intention of saying what had put him in such a state. She didn't need to be bothered with his issues, and despite how bogus they all were they still were exclusively his issues. "Name's Marshall," he said. "Marshall Toft.If you dont mind me sayin', you're out pretty late to be on your own. Not that it's really any of my business, I just know you can find some unsavory characters out at this hour, like me, for example." He was joking...only partially. It was hard these days to know who would see him as a monster rather than just a person.
