With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

As Lizzy walked down the streets of Diagon Alley a part of her already regretted coming here. She was out to party and since of late these places were like party areas similar to a graveyard. The brunette wasn't very big on something like this so she was making her way out after a few drinks figuring she might get better luck in London. Lizzy has never been much of a sad drinker that she could think off, she always seemed to get lucky at parties and this would be no different.
The young woman walked out of Diagon Alley and right into the busy streets of London. The city that always seemed to come alive at night. With a smile on her face Lizzy slipped her hands into the pockets of her jacket and headed towards the area where the nice clubs are. It was nice to be out and not be recognized as a famous quidditch player sometimes. Even when Lizzy liked the fame she liked her parties more and so she tended to go out in places where no one really knew her.
Not yet anyway.
Her thoughts had wandered off as did her attention span when it came to the people around her so when her shoulder hit someone she spun around almost instantly. "I am so sorry. I don't know I guess I zoned out?" she said and felt like she was about to ramble, something she only did when she had been drinking. "I didn't hurt you did I?" her eyes landed on the girl, she was hot, she was blonde and Lizzy's worried expression had a hard time remaining there.

the night was young and that always meant trouble - especially for josephine who was doing the night shift, apparently nobody else wanted to and josephine had happily volunteered, she didn't have plans, well she didn't have them in general, most of her friends were busy drinking while she was reprimanding people of the public. luckily her shift finished in less than ten minutes and like people in retail when it turned ten minutes, josephine kinda switched off, she hoped there wasn't an emergency and if there was she likely would go for the sake of others. sometimes she needed to put herself first but tonight was not one of those nights.
coming across two drunk men stumbling out of the leaky cauldron and sent them on their way with a somewhat sternness which she didn't know had come from. after that event, josephine was relieved of her duty to protect, instead she chose to go into london, the busy city had always been her cup of tea and she loved the hustle and bustle of it, she was unknown to everyone, the wizarding woes didn't trouble her in london - if only she had chose a more conventional job this wouldn't have been a problem. probably.
josephine wasn't paying attention when a girl bumped into her, she was beautiful a brunette and didn't look much older than josephine. to say josephine was speechless was an understatement, and that rarely happened. "don't worry, i'm all good, uninjured and definitely up for that drink. i'm josie by the way." under the lights of the unidentified place, josephine had noticed where she knew the other girl from - she was a quidditch player, who played for her chosen team but she wouldn't fangirl too much - they were both out to have fun, and josie was sure that a fangirl moment wouldn't be fun.

Surely Lizzy felt confident enough about herself to know when she caught the eye of a girl who wouldn't mind having some fun that night and tonight was no different. The girl that she bumped into was beautiful and somewhat reminded her of someone she used to know. Still, that didn't stop Lizzy from asking the girl out for a drink because after all, she did bump into this girl. Lizzy promised to herself that she was going to show this girl the best time she could give her, starting with that drink she asked her for.
"Glad I didn't cause an injury because it'd be a shame if I stop you from dancing tonight." oh yes she was going to dance, enough alcohol would make everyone dance eventually. "A drink it is then! On me." She purred and held her hand out to shake hers. "Pleasure to meet you Josie, I'm Lizzy." she didn't want to introduce herself as Elizabeth, that was a name for old ladies and she surely wasn't an old lady. The brunette motioned for Josie to follow her to the club she was going to, giving her a charming and bright smile as she did so.
"What kind of drink would you like? Are you into strong drinks or more the tropical ones?" she asked her, holding her hand out for Josie to take so they could make their way through the crowd standing at the club doors. "Personally, I enjoy the tropical ones. Way more fun and tasty."
