With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Curled up on the lounge with her legs tucked underneath her, Aggy turned the next page of her book. Some may call Ancient Runes a bore, but to her it was actually really fascinating... what wasn't so great, however, was the background noise of two little ankle-biter first years getting in a squabble about sitting in front of the fireplace of all things. It wasn't even lit.
Barely glancing up, Aggy shot a, "Yes, because obviously keeping yourself warm on the first night of September is a huge priority... it's so cold. I mean, just look outside the window, the snow has completed covered the ground." With amusement, Aggy watched out of the corner of her the two first years race over to the window to see this miraculous snowfall in September... only to find none.
When they whirled back around, expressions clearly affronted and objections of there being no snow at their lips, Aggy smirked. i"Oh wait, it's September. That's right. It's autumn. Remind me... when's the last time you saw autumn snow in Scotland?" Aggy gave them a few seconds to answer, only to get silence in response. "That's right, so you can shut ye geggies and shut up about the bloody fireplace now."

Felix hated the first days in school. Kids would be very loud and annoying the hell out of him making the boy just want to kill them all. Then again he didn't really like to hurt kids either but that didn't mean he couldn't tell them off. The moment things were too much for him he tossed his paper aside but a redhead opened her mouth.
"At least someone with brains is here." he mumbled and watched Agnes deal with the kids like she was the evil aunt in some odd comedy show for muggles. Surely it was amusing to say the least and it did intrigue Felix enough to pay attention to whatever this girl was blurting.
Felix took out his wand and used a silencing spell on the two kids.
"There, wasn't that hard to shut them up now is it?" he eyed the two kids acting like monkeys now they lost their voices. "Read your books on how to get them back." he sneered at them and picked up his newspaper.

As the two female of the two ankle-biters opened her mouth indignantly, starting to call Aggy a 'right bi -" she was cut off mid-sentence. Aggy arched her brow immediately because she certainly hadn't cast a silencing spell... so who had?
Then a voice spoke, telling her it wasn't that 'hard to shut them up' and immediately, Aggy's eyes narrowed. Who was he to tell her criticise the way she approached things? "Yeah, because casting a spell on them is so much better than showing them what they're arguing about is stupid in the first place. You're a genius, Bianchi."

Of course even this girl would find a reason to bitch about the solution. It was so common of them it made Felix want to become a monk at some point. All these girls did was complain and when a solution was offered they'd complain about the solution like they didn't want it. Truth be told, it was maddening.
"Children are stupid Clearwater." he shot back and put his newspaper down as he watched them silently panic and run for their books. "What has gotten your feathers ruffled in the first place? It sure as hell isn't me." he spoke in a soft and calm tone, little emotion to it.

Felix Bianchi was someone that Aggy had mixed feelings about. In some ways, she liked him... and in others, she was infuriated by him constantly. Maybe they were just too similar in some aspects of their personality for her liking.
"Believe it or not, I'm not a bloody bird, Bianchi. My feathers aren't ruffled," Aggy shot back at Felix, her eyes rolling. "I didn't realise you were the authority on what I can and cannot be annoyed at though. Maybe it is you." But that wasn't true and after a moments pause, Aggy shrugged. "I don't think it's a crime to want to read in peace, is it? For some reason the background noise of firsties arguing over a fireplace just doesn't work for me."

Felix was used to snarky and rude comments that were often caused by his own ignorance. Honestly he was often to blame but he tried to help even when it didn't always look like it. Felix eyed the redhead and whipped up some cookies with his wand, holding some out.
"My apologies." he said simply and politely as he held onto the plate of cookies in his hand. Truth be told he just wanted to make some friends but it was hard.
"It is not a crime, I had the same issue. What were you reading? For me it was the recent news covering our world."

"Cookies, hey? Merlin's beard, if you're trying to poison me then pick a less cliche way to do it than by cookies," Aggy said, eyeing the plate suspiciously before shrugging and reaching over to pinch a cookie off the plate regardless.
"I'm glad someone from the large Italian family of successful aurors and businessmen keeps up with the latest news," Aggy said, sarcasm wrapping around her words once more as she snorted in amusement. She, quite frankly, didn't care about his family and their career choices. It just made her amused that he'd announced in like that in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Maybe he needed to click his heels three times and return to Italy if he wanted people to give a damn.

His eyebrow arched ever so slowly when Agnes made a comment about the cookies. He seriously did not understand her problem but here he was actually trying to make conversation. What was it that he ended up befriending girls who were basic bitches deep down inside?
"If I'd poison you I would not use cookies. I am not that obvious." the boy said with a frown and snorted when she mentioned his family, basically quoting class.
"Just because they are famous for what they do doesn't mean I am them." there was slight hurt in his voice. If only his twin brother was here now, he'd freak.
"The latest news is important not because of my family, but because it is more realistic than anything people teach here." Felix sighed and sat back, putting the plate on the little table nearby.

Aggy's brows raised as Felix declared he wasn't that 'obvious.' Something that she sincerely doubted because because he barely said two words in class except for his introduction and to rage quit... that wasn't 'subtle' in the slightest. But instead of saying so, she rewarded him a skeptical smile. "If you say so. I'm sure you're a very clever cookie."
"Oh, so they teach Defense and Charms and Transfiguration in the news?" Aggy said, barely just refraining from rolling her eyes. "I'm sure reading about those things instead of participating in class really helps with your studies."
