With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Jedrek had sent an owl to his female best friend Mia to come and meet him in the Astronomy tower. He was bored and definitely needed her to save him from dying from boredom. Their other friends were busy but he knew that if he asked her to come she would at least try to come and if she knew that she couldn't he'd hope she'd send him an owl letting him know. Since he hadn't received one he thought it'll be safe to go to the tower in case she did show. As he got there he stood at the rail looking out at the grounds below. He liked coming when it was dark outside since it looked so much nicer and was definitely a sight to beheld at night.
When Mia had gotten the owl to meet Jedrek up at the Astronomy Tower, she knew she had to go because one, she loved the tower and two, she didn’t find this friend of hers stupid like she did his brother. No one knew that Mia liked Declan, not even her best friend and she refused to even admit it if one were to figure it out. The girl found Declan Tyrell frustrating, and she wanted to strangle him half the time he entered the room. There was something off about that kid, and she was going to figure it out without the help of his brother.
Footsteps echoed on the stairs as she made her way up to the Astronomy Tower, candy in hand. The female had a box full of candies she didn’t mind sharing with her best friend.
There was a smile on her face when he came into view and she tilted her head to the side. ”You look bored.”
While waiting for Mia he looked out at the stars coming out from above. It wasn't extremely late (definitely not close to curfew) but it was late enough for people to go back to the dorms and have fun talking and what not. The young Hufflepuff got startled a bit when it came to hearing the voice of his best friend. Jed turned around with a smile, he always loved hanging around Mia, she was amazing and when he had met her he knew that they'd be friends for a long time. Jed always respected her and hoped the same in return.
"I'm no longer bored now, I am glad you decided to come Mia Pia, it would have totally been extra boring if you never showed and left little old me alone for the night. Also is that candy?!" Jedrek looked at the candy in her hand.
There was a grin on Mia’s face when it seemed that she startled her best friend,and she let out a tiny laugh at the sight. It was odd to see these pair as friends because Mia hated most of his family. Especially Declan. But for some reason this was one of the best friendships she had in a long time, and she wasn’t going to let Jed go. She loved him like a brother, and they had just met a couple of months ago when Mia arrived at the school. A short friendship, and it seemed like they had known each other for years.
”Good eye, Tyrell. My family bought me a bunch and sent it to me. Figured that it won’t hurt to share with my favorite people.” she commented as she held out the candy for him to take.
Jed was literally staring at the candy, he honestly couldn't help it he had the biggest sweet tooth in the history of sweet tooth's. Jed didn't actually know Mia's family personally but from what he heard from Mia, he practically knew them. Jedrek listened to his best friend when she spoke. "Well I definitely hope Mia Pia that I am one of those favorite people you're talking about. I know that my brother.. Has his ways when it comes down to it, but I can honestly tell you this that I am the better Tyrell" Jed playfully winked at his best friend. He was a kind soul when it came down to it but mess with the ones he loves then he is no longer a nice person.
Mia was beyond annoying every time Declan Tyrell came up in a conversation, and she had made a fast at the comment of his brother and wanted to kick Jed in that moment but she kept herself calm, she had held out the bag of candy she was holding. Even though they’d only known each other for a few months, she had grown to adore Jed like a brother and would come to him if she had a problem. Just not, Declan Tyrell problems. She would deal with that little stuck up brat herself.
”You are, Jed.” she said and thought of his siblings running around Hogwarts. They were nightmares.
Jedrek knew that Mia and Declan had some issues but he didn't let it bother him, it was between the two of them and that was where it would stay, between the two of them unless it got extremely hectic and he had to go in between to break it up, but he knew that Mia would probably win since she had more of a vicious side then Declan did, but he'd never admit that to his brother. "Well I'm glad because I'd have to kick his butt if I became second place in your life" Jed teased before eating some candy that Mia had.
Mia had no idea how she felt about Jed’s brother, but she hated him so much and she knew Jed knew this well. She wasn’t going to come to him if she had Declan problems because she didn’t want her best friend to pick between her and his brother. To her, she would think her best friend would pick Declan over her because of brotherhood. She didn’t know if they were close or not. ”Nah, you’re first. Olivia is second. Your brother is…..not on the list right now.” she said with a grin as she grabbed a piece of candy out of the bag, eating it. Yep, she wasn’t going to talk about Dec anymore.
Jed continued to eat some sweets with Mia while listening to his best friend talk about how he was definitely number one on her list. Jed had to admit there was a part of him that wanted to be number one and then there was a part of him that was amused that his brother didn't make the list. Usually Jed wouldn't care but Mia is different, she is his best friend and there were times where he wanted to be the most important person in her life but there was going to come a time where she was going to start dating and he'd be history so he was going to take advantage of her attention as much as he could. "Good, hopefully I'm number one for a while but I can understand if you fall in love with someone else and what not" he playfully rolled his eyes.
Mia had made a face when he mentioned that he would understand if she falls in love with someone else, and a part of her wanted to punch Jed Tyrell right there. But instead she had eaten her candy like a good child, and gave him her best death glare. There was nothing funny about that, and she wasn’t going to fall in love with a stupid boy because, well, they’re stupid. ”The only thing that has my heart right now is this candy. I can’t see some idiot boy getting in the way of my love for candy and chocolate. So, now you’ve been moved to number two, Tyrell.” she teased back as she grabbed another candy from the bag with a huff.
Jedrek held his chest and fell to the floor dramatic and pretended to moan in pain. He loved messing with Mia, she was just that type of person that walked into his jokes here and there. Jed was one of a kind and there was nothing anyone could do or say to take that away from him. "Oh my god! It hurts, the pain in my chest hurts so bad, I was moved to number two! Mia. Save. My. Stash. Of. Candy" Jed said before he just plopped on the ground and laid there emotionless. He didn't move or do anything, although he was laughing his butt off on the inside.
