With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
They’d defeated Slytherin! Tobias was glowing with pride after catching the snitch, ending the game. It had been a very close call. This was without doubt the most intense game they’d battled. It was a miracle he didn’t collapse from exhaustion during the game. The full moon had occurred on the 21th and he was still regaining lost sleep hours. Perhaps that was what made him all the more proud. He did his job despite his handicap. This gave him a boost of confidence for the future. If he could do this he could also do a normal job without colleagues finding out. Not that he kept it hidden, he just hadn’t told anyone unless they asked. It remained a bit of a touchy subject but thanks to Professor O’Connor and his friends, Tobias was dealing with it pretty well. Speaking of their head of house, Tobias hoped that the man had been watching. He still wanted to impress O’Connor. Maybe he’d be named a prefect next year and he’d get to spend more time with him. That’d be great. He just had to make sure his friends didn’t find out how badly he wanted to be a prefect or they’d think he was silly.
There was no way they’d sleep tonight. On the way back his roomies and teammates had carried him in. For once his lack of height compared to them came of use. They would all do a quick shower and prepare the room to be able to welcome their guests. A well deserved party was ahead. It’d be a classic pajama sleepover party. Lot’s of food and soda combined with a group of teenagers. This was simply the best. Everyone was finally together again after the holidays.
When Tobias came back from the shower, he posed, showing off his sir dino pajama set. “Tadaaah!” With a big grin on his face, he looked at the other boys. “You guys did amazing! Eli ‘n Ry who still has to arrive thanks for keeping our arses safe. Leo, Delgado you rocked at dominating the Slytherins. What a dream team. Oi Cartwright, you should definitely try out for next term. You all deserve a hug!” And so Toby went in to snuggle with his roomies. The room looked quite ready for a party. Except… “For god’s sake, Delgado. Wear a bloody shirt. You’ll be scaring the ladies,” he said as he shook his head. This only left one option. Toby sprinted towards the much more mature curly haired male and jumped on his lap. From that position he started tickling his belly. “I won't stop until you get dressed.”
Note: Jan 23th 2016, ‘4th years’. Gryffindor boy's dorm
Victory! This game victory was powered to you by the Young twins who were insane when it came to playing the game. They were so in sync it was like magic but truth be told they just knew each other like no one else. Ryker was dressed into an oversized shirt of her brother and cute perky shorts because she refused to hide her body from anyone no matter who they were. The brunette walked into the boys dorm without knocking, she had seen it all before and she was sure every guy looked the same by now.
Ryker carried two bottles of sparkling bubbles not really being able to sneak champagne but this was close enough! Ryker held them up with a smile. "Boys I brought the drinks!" she said with a grin and headed over to Elijah's bed, plopping down on it. She crossed one leg over the other and put the bottles on the floor. This was a celebration after all and Ryker was here to party.
"Did you see their faces? Priceless." the girl poked her brother's side and smirked. "We knocked one of those chasers so hard off their brooms he'll have a headache till next year." the girl said proudly and looked at all the boys. Every girl's dream right here.
Melinda had heard about the pajama party with her fellow fourth years that was being held in order to celebrate Gryffindor's victory against Slytherin. While not on the team herself Melinda wasn't going to turn down a chance to celebrate such a victory. After showering for the night Melinda changed into her pajamas and went to go find everyone.
Melinda entered the dorm just in time to hear Tobias' comment about Matheus not wearing a shirt. It was weird to Melinda that girls were allowed in the boys dorm. It wasn't like she spent all her time there so the fourth year was quite surprised by what she walked in on. The fourteen year old tried not to stare for too hard or long at Matheus. She loved her housemates like family, but Melinda was fourteen for Merlin's sake, she wasn't quite ready to be seeing any of her male housemates shirtless. "Er...good game against Slytherin, everyone." she said , deciding changing the subject would be the best way to hide her embarrassment.
