With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Yes to all. No Matheus wouldn't know Melinda is a vampire since it literally just happened over the summer, and he last knew her as a human in sixth year. Since they're friends I don't think she'd have a problem with telling him about it, but of course it would have to remain a secret between them.
I love the idea of Charlotte finding Grey stumbling drunk in the halls, and Grace trying to keep their old friendship going even though she's dead. She definitely could use them for as long as she's going to be sticking around. Do you mind starting some of these for us? It's almost time for me to eat dinner. I can start whichever ones are left.

Hello BREE! I'm here to offer my Don Juan Wolfgang to toy with poor little Grace Longbottom's heart, to charm her just because he'd find it amusing how easily she's flustered. I've never actually gotten to play him properly, so I don't know how smooth I will be, but I'm up for the challenge of breaking a young girl's heart. Plus, Wolfgang despises goodie-two-shoes, so they could very well become enemies in the long term.
Hey LEO SORREL, I'm super duper keen for that idea! She's got a huge crush on somebody at the moment, but that's not to say he can't toy her along/break her heart. I'd be keen for a thread with them if you are?
SALLY JORDAN & @mariah Well, they have a year apart but they are in the same house, so they still could have met easily. Not sure how close they are but at least have talked perhaps.
VIOLA ROSALINE & @mariah Well, they could have met during the class or just around the school since they are at differnet house and Viola is year older.

SALLY JORDAN + KATRIN TYRELL: I cannot imagine these two as anything other than bitter enemies. They're exactly the kind of person the other hates: Kate is very proper and feminine and definitely not about to get dirt under her fingernails...unless it means she can get deep revenge on someone. I'd love to make them into constant thorns in each others' sides.
AGNES CLEARWATER + LYUBOV KAREVA: Roommates! I'm thinking about what relationship they might have had over the years--Lyuba is a lot more optimistic of a personality, but I think she'd like to banter with Aggy. While she's brand-new, so I haven't established any friendships for her yet, I do think she'd like Aggy's friends as well.
GREYSON AVERY + LYUBOV KAREVA: House/yearmates, but they seem more like party acquaintances than anything? Could've had a makeout in the past or something too; Lyuba can be quite flirty when she wants to!
MATHEUS DELGADO + LYUBOV KAREVA: And on that note, although I know Mat likes older women, I think Lyuba's veela charm might make up for that with him? I could see them being friends also, since they do share the trait of standing up for others who need it. So, could be friends with benefits?
KATRIN TYRELL && SALLY - okay so I actually love this. Sally desperately needs enemies, and I can see her absolutely despising Katrin and everything about her. I can see it devolving into petty snarking (if Katrin does that) during class, and maybe detention depending on the class lolol.
LYUBOV KAREVA && AGGY - Sooo I think before what happened to Aggy in the summer of her third year, these two could have been quite good friends? Like, Aggy was a bit meek, a people pleaser. She changed rapidly in fourth year when she came back into a snarky, prickly, doesn't trust anyone, banter-loving cactus. It may have came as a bit of a shock to Lyubov at the time (maybe?), but maybe they've slowly been rebuilding their friendship and getting to know each other once more? Also... Lyubov would probably know about Aggy's constant nightmares that have her screaming and crying awake a few times a week.
LYUBOV KAREVA && GREYSON - yesssss! I'm keen for party acquaintances, and Greyson would definitely have gotten his make out on with Lyuba. I can see him trying to invite her up to his dorm for a drink or too at times.
LYUBOV KAREVA && MATHEUS - Matheus likes younger women too, and now that Lyuba is sixteen, he'd definitely try his hand at being friends with benefits. I think they'd definitely make food friends too.
I'll start these shortly, hopefully! Maybe Vinda and Isobel to begin with, if you're cool with that?

Colleagues with clashing views on werewolves. (Like, Sean has killed one and does NOT intend to stop there.) I'd think Jack wouldn't be too fond of Sean's class practice of Silencio and Petrificus Totalus either, and there is the fact that he is a Leglimens (Jack probably doesn't know it) & could expose Jack's secrets to the Ministry Officer or whomever else, if you so desire.
Askold & Jack
I could see them becoming "partners in crime" -- the crime being helping werewolves. Askold will be an associate of the Cotswolds in the very near future, and perhaps Jack could be their person inside of Hogwarts? Or at least, if not directly associated like that, they know of each other's views and allegiances.

@melinda and ROWAN HOWARD- Housemates. She is the year ahead. It depends on how he feels about her being a vampire. I feel like Melinda would be self conscious about that a lot now since the Ministry Liason officer (who I see you are now playing) is at the school now for the werewolf problem.

@charlotte and LYDIA LLEWELLYN- I don't really have any ideas but Lottie loves meeting new people, and since she's a ghost stuck at Hogwarts she'd interact with the students from time to time. I believe I had it that Charlotte was a fifth year when she died.
