With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.

I think Rebecca and Emil were going to be friends as they are fellow prefects.
Next I'm not sure how this is going to work out since the alpha of Cotswold is very secretive. This is for SAMANTHA BANKS . @margaret is a pack member and she was also friends with Teddy in school, so I imagine if they ever spoke they would be on good terms. Margaret also has a twin sister who is a werewolf and if played would be a pack member. Margaret often feels down on herself because of the way werewolves are being treated by society/the Ministry, like whenever the Daily Prophet calls them monsters.
It's not that Leander wouldn't get along with her, because he can pretty much get along with most everyone who isn't mean, but he would think she's weird, which would probably lead to him avoiding her typically. He does like Herbology since it sort of intertwines with Potions so there's something they could connect over, although she is two years older so they likely wouldn't be that close even if they did have a run-in.
Leander would be fine with her, but since she tends to dislike people who get really good grades, she may not like Leander. That said, Leander would be willing to help her out with her studies if she ever got over her dislike. Or if you just think they'd connect despite that, that's cool, too!
These two have lots in common: an enjoyment of studying and adventure, while Leander isn't completely in love with animals, he does like them to an extent. I feel like they would connect well and get along quite easily, maybe even talking of adventuring with each other and just hanging out in the library reading together from time to time. Plus they're the same year, so there's that, too.
Leander being the friendly sort of person may have stumbled upon Skylar crying, or even just dealing with his problems in whatever way is likely, and reached out to be a shoulder to cry on. Maybe Leander acts like a guide of sorts, trying to give him advice, though no words can really help of course with his situation. Leander would likely invite him to some parties to try to help get his mind off the crazy parts of his life, and Leander would feel a bit less bad about his own situations given how much Skylar is going through.
I think you could add these two to the friends category, the closeness of which we could decide whenever. Given that Leander is a Ravenclaw, she could have tried to befriend him, or even just some people he may have been hanging out with and he found her interesting and they made a connection on their own. He definitely doesn't put stock in names so he'd pretty much not care about her being a Weasley, but maybe she could introduce him to a new genre of book and they could find some fun in partner reading.
These two would be teammates on the Quidditch Pitch, and also are both Chasers, so I feel like that, paired with the fact that they're in the same house and Emil is Head Boy, that Leander would look up to him a lot. I think the boys could have a brotherly type friendship if you're down for that!

Lots of possibilities! Let's see what could work best...
So I really love the potential of @leander and EMIL ZALEWSKI, since Emil would spend plenty of time with him at Quidditch practice, and he tends to be friendly enough with younger students. Emil definitely knows that people look up to him, but he's also a bit insecure about the thought of what if he's a bad mentor? I would love to make a thread with these two!
@leander and MIA-ROSE LINWOOD would be cool too; she'd be really appreciative of someone who likes to both study and adventure, as long as she doesn't feel threatened by him in any way, which... I don't think she would? I think there's potential for friendship for them. Similarly for @leander and @roxanne, which might be an even easier friendship; they'd just find books to talk about and go from there, I think!
With SKYLAR REID and @leander, so far, Skylar's pretty resistant to anyone seeing him looking "weak" so it might be hard for him to open up, but it's happened before so something might cause him to cry in front of him? Definitely possible.
And like you say, I don't think Leander would get along particularly well with either Nadya or Lyuba, but since he's in Lyuba's year he might run into her in classes and stuff, so feel free to interact there!
