With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Curiosity almost always killed the cat, but thankfully Zoe was not feline. Still, she had waited long enough to seek out the giant colleague. It was a testament to her self restraint that she hadn't cornered the sexy beast of a man yet - since she'd managed to get information regarding the close relationship between Almir and Runa from the Deputy Headmaster, Zoe now knew that she was in with a chance with the pair of them.
So it was that Zoe set out down the beaten track to Little Asgard with a big bottle of mead that she'd purchased from Hogsmeade clasped firmly in her right hand that was a lot heavier than she'd expected and her soft dragonhide, knee high boots crunched the dirt and pebbles along the track. "Ooof, you'd better taste bloody good for all this effort," Zoe said with a chuckle as she finally put the bottle down on the step and rapped her knuckles on the wooden door of the rustic hut.
"Yoo-hoo! Anyone home? I do hope so... else I'll have to drink all this mead by myself," Zoe called out playfully. Truth be told, before the staff meeting she'd literally never had the stuff before and being from Australia she'd tried a whole bunch of alcoholic things in exceedingly interesting quantities and mixtures. Mead was some olde worlde britanic shiz though.

This school year was going great. Almir was really grateful for this job. He loved getting to work with animals and teach people about them. Nobody would ever have thought he had the mental capability of being a teacher but he proved them all wrong. Not that he had that in mind. Almir just wanted to have a good time surrounded by nice people.
Right now he was preparing bowtruckles for the next class. However the twiggy fellows liked to cling in his long locks and beard. He had to be patient and gentle with his big hands he could easily squash them. Almir could never forgive himself if that happened. When the door was knocked, Almir decided to give up and let the three remaining bowtruckles stay in his hair. It’d be rude to let a guest waiting.
When he opened and saw Zoe, his new coworker, Almir’s face beamed in a friendly smile. “Drottning!” Wrapping his strong arms around the lady, he spun her around. “I’m glad you found it. Will you stay for dinner? Runa will join us later.” ZOE SAVAGE,
Without a doubt, every time Zoe laid eyes on the humungous coworker, the woman caught her breath. Like wow! If she had time to fan herself, she would have but Almir was one of the most friendly and physically communicative people on the grounds and she loved it! Zoe grinned widely as Almir opened the door and she embraced the man as readily as he did her. ”Weeee!!!” Zoe laughed cheerfully as she was spun by the giant and when they stopped she said, ”DROTTTTTIN!!! Right back at ya big guy!”
Once Zoe was put back on the ground, she took a very small second to readjust her clothes. ”Dinner sounds amazing - look I brought the booze. When Runa comes we can have ourselves a real party,” she said with a not-quite-so-innocent smile on her dial. ”Uhhh... Almir, is something in your beard or are you just happy to see me? Cuz that’s when things usually start movin’ by themselves,” Zoe said as she reached up to curl a finger in the hair of the beard in question. When she got a nasty little jab in her finger, she withdrew it quickly with a little yelp.
Seeing blood begin to form on her finger, she promptly popped it in her mouth to suck it off like her finger was a lollipop. Her big blue eyes shone with wetness as she looked up at Almir.

This was bound to be fun. Almir could appreciate someone who was as open and easy going as himself. The big man laughed when Zoe called him a queen. “Damn right we are,” he winked, wondering if she even knew what it meant. It only added to the fun. He opened the door and let her in.
He was glad to hear she was staying for dinner. His eyes sparkled when she announced she had brought drinks. “This is going to be one glorious fest, dear friend. Let us feast until the morning sun greets us,” he chanted like he was giving on epic viking speech right before battle. “I’m roasting some chicken seasoned with local herbs. I was about to make Gubbröra but I broke the bowl. Don’t tell Runa, she is scary when she is mad,” he grinned sheepishly. His big hands and strength weren’t always of use. None of their tableware matched due to it. Replacing was just a waste of money.
Almir chuckled and was about to make a joke when Lily decided to bite Zoe. “AAH I’m so sorry. Lily this is not how we greet our guests.” The little bowtruckle appeared from his beard and started brabling. “Now don’t give me that look. You aren’t a little child,” he argued with the walking twig. Then he turned to Zoe. “I’m so sorry. They can get quite jealous.”
