With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

HISTORY
WAlmir is the son of Norwegian/Irish pure blood wizard Einar Askeland and a Swedish half giant lady named Frida Jørgensen. The Jørgensen family is a small low class Swedish pureblood family which is specialized with dragons. They’ve held fascination of many creatures and beings. Which had eventually let to a certain Tove Jørgensen to mate with a giant lady resulting in Frida. The Jørgensen is part of the dragon village clan.
Which is a hidden village in the north-west of Sweden against the Norwegian border. The area is considered dangerous and muggles do not dare to come near. The dragon village is a safe haven for creatures, mostly dragons. wizards and witches from all over the globe come there to nurse rescued dragons and other creatures to prepare them for return in the wild. Some creatures are unable to return and stay with them being pampered.
The population of the village is 114, everyone knows everyone. Most people work within the village (with exception of the ones traveling to find and rescue the creatures) but some can be found working in neighboring countries and returning home every day.
The culture itself is a pretty unique one. For centuries marriage can be done with more than one person and with all genders. Polygamous marriages are as common as monogamous ones. As people from all over the country live here, come and go with every generation, the gene pool is very mixed. Most marriages see 0-1 children. Work is considered more important and it is very normal that every member of the village is involved in the upbringing of children. But the population stays stable because most people join this society once they start working with creatures. Which is why most people living here are between the age of 19 and 55. There are some village elders and about 10-20 children spreading ages from 0 till 17. No muggleborn children are found here but there are muggleborn adults because they immigrated.
The village does not preach blood purity at all but are very keen on keeping up their traditions. Said traditions are considered cavemen behavior by both wizards and muggles anyways. These people feast a lot and are close to nature so they are easily considered 'dirty hippies'.
Some say that that’s the exact reason why their numbers are so low. They’re quite the adventurous folk and won't back down for a thrill of danger. Most of the family is member of the Dragon Clan. Because of all these, even when the Jørgensen family is pureblood, they're often looked down upon by other purebloods. The Askeland family on the other hand is a Norwegian middle/upper class family known for their well behaviour. His father risked the risk of getting disowned for marrying Frida. For some strange reason he didn't, in the end he did nothing what could cause it. Instead his parents just broke contact with him. This is why Almir never met his grandparents or any family from his father's side.
In his village he was never really an odd one out. In the dragon village many creatures and beings could be found. Almir grew up happily with his family.
One day Almir was playing in the forest, too near at the point where they kept the dragons. Just a few days before a female dragon carrying an egg had arrived. This Swedish Short Snout was aggressive, and willing to protect her egg at all costs. Usually are women put in charge with the egg carrying dragons, combined with their Dragon Clan Mark they always would manage to calm the dragons down. This time on the other had there was no time to activate the runic mark. ‘Little’ seven year old Almir came too close and the dragon was startled by the sudden movement, she began to break free and attack the people who took care of her. Frida heard of this and hurried towards the place. She managed to pull away her little boy, only to be hit by the burning blue fire of the Swedish Short Snout. Almir got away with only having his right leg burned. With tears of guilt in his eyes he then watched the dragon take his mother like she weighted nothing and threw her across the place. This fall had been lethal but she'd probably have died of her burns anyways.
Almir and his family were shocked but sadly these incidents weren’t rare. Dragons were beautiful but also dangerous.
His first face with reality was when he would go to Durmstrang. There he quickly learned that he was different from the other kids. Almir had trouble learning because his dyslexia, he couldn’t do the reading exercises well and he took longer than other students. At school he was bullied because he was part giant. The blonde first year was already taller than some last years. He was called a brute, tall, strong, clumsy and not very bright in the mind.
But he did find a friend in Runa who helped him with his school work and eventually with himself too. Once Almir got confident and older most kids would actually think he was a pretty cool guy. He was starting to get involved but often was the source of entertainment for others. He had to ‘prove’ himself or they were using him to get alcohol because he looked much older than he was. Runa never asked those things from him and might have been a rare true friend.
After graduating he travelled the world doing work for the village. When he was about to turn 23 his village send him to teach at a British school. He travelled alongside his dear friend, Runa who would teach in herbology. He was lucky to have known the language through his dad. But even so he still has a thick Nordic accent.
Graham sighed, cursing whoever dared to approach him in his mind. But as a public figure he had to be polite and professional always. Especially in sorrowful times where citizens were losing hope. His new job would hopefully bring him some peace and allow him to be there for his family. The head auror finished his sentence and looked up at the man in front of him. His eyes narrowed, he couldn’t place the man yet he had some sense of familiarity. In his case that was rarely a good thing. For now he decided to ignore his instincts and focus on what the man had to say.
He listened without interrupting the man but when he noticed a glance towards his papers, he covered them. Those were Ministry sensitive words. If this guy was a reporter and the news got out before he could let his team know, there would be a problem.
“Please take a sit Mr-? It’ll be better for your back.” He rose an eyebrow as he hadn’t caught a name. “We chase them down, we do not hunt them. That is one important thing to remember, hunting is for animals we aren’t animals,” he told the man with an inch of a smile. “Your nephew, how old is he?” Graham noticed the man trailing off, narrowing his eyes watching him. As a paranoid man every kind of situation went through his head. Part of the reason he had to quit was because albeit he was amazing at his job, the job killed his mind in his spare time. He could never let it go. “Is something wrong, sir?”
