With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
With a loud gargle, Dio spit some blood on the ground. It had started to poor from his nose down his throat. The Slytherin was pissed off to the max. So he decided to hide from the bigger crowd to prevent a disaster from happening. Because right now the thought of setting off a blasting curse in a classroom was very appealing. While Dio was known for being violent and cruel like his dad, he wasn’t always the one who started things. But he could finish them. Today a group of five sixth years had awaited him after class and started taunting him. He was surrounded by a pack of humans. Obviously Dio was aware he wasn’t popular. His surname brought hate from people who’d lost family and friends to his father and brother. And he was known to be supportive of werewolves despite being human himself.
Most other students were wise enough to stay away from him. These morons today obviously weren’t. Worst of all, Dio had to behave because if he got in too much trouble he risked getting permanently expelled. All he could do was suck up his anger and defend himself while running away. Dio felt super humiliated. He was never the type to run from a fight. Now this poor painting would have to suffer under his anger. The poor man who got his tongue cut off was hiding in the painting next to his. The old painted man stared in shock as Dio threw knives at his canvas. The Slytherin grinned. This was helping him feel better.

"What the hell is going on?!" Rosa sneered as she caught the tail end of a full-on beating as she ripped a boy back by the collar of his robes. He cocked back a moment only to second guess the decision as the Slytherin prefect stared him down with a calm, unforgiving sneer, " Prefect or not, you swing on me and I promise it will be the last thing you ever do, " She didn't give a shit if it was a guy, girl, Pureblood, or Muggle-born. She always fought her fights on her own, " I'll be sure to let the professors know what big men we have residing these halls. Fucking idiots, " the Slytherin stood with her arms crossed, taking note of each student.
Bunch of cowards.
The Slytherin followed hearing one of them mumble under their breath 'Slutherin.' She'd take care of him later, but for now, she was going after Dio.
She didn't really know Dio all that well-- he was a werewolf supporter and that was about the extent of any knowledge she had beyond his face and name. He didn't bother her, and she didn't bother him. It was a peaceful enough coexistence between two rather hot-headed people. She walked around, finding him.
She didn't say anything as she handed him a kerchief. She crossed her arms over leaning against the wall, " Lemme guess, " She purred in her thick Italian accent, " Cowards jumped you?" She remarked simply. It was fucking ridiculous. She may have been one to get in fights herself but damn, she didn't jump people. Especially not in a group. She preferred to fight her battles head on without making herself look weak with assistance, " Not gonna lie. Your self restraint is better than most... Minus the knife throwing, " She smirked a bit.
Upon hearing a voice, Dio turned around and could just stop himself for throwing a dagger into the direction of the voice. The anger was still very visible in his eyes. If this was a cartoon steam would be coming from his ears. But Dio didn’t know muggle entertainment so this reference makes no sense.
His blue crazed eyes narrowed, distrusting the prefect. So far he had done well not to make her his enemy. But he knew he would always get blamed for whatever went down. “You almost sound like you believe that,” he scoffed before shaking his head. The poor painting received another blow with a dagger. Nothing a little magic couldn’t fix.
His eyes shot back but he didn’t turn his head. “I’m bloody pissed. They’re lucky I’m on the verge of being expelled and have to watch my actions. I wanted to hurt them badly,” he grumbled, feeling stupid for admitting this to a prefect. “It was fricking embarrassing.” ROSALIA CAPONE,
