With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Felix had the food and anything that was requested for this picnic Rosa desperately wanted. The entire way he was mentally trying to figure out what the hell was even happening to him. Felix was not used to the attention he was given, surely girls were annoying and confusing human beings but he still didn't think that he would actually be in an entanglement with a girl right now. Rosa was amazing to him, her fire was attractive in every single way. People often feared the fire and the anger that was in a person but Felix was drawn by it like a moth to a flame.
Yet he didn't think that Rosa would or should be drawn to him. Felix was maybe younger than her but he wasn't a mere kid. He had been in the heat of the flames of everyone he knew for many years and yet he kept his ice castle up. He was still calm, cold and could cool off anyone with the fire in them because he simply didn't give into it. Rosa drove him to a certain point of insanity that actually made his ice melt and his anger come out but that was over.
Felix let out a small sigh as he waited in Hogsmeade, there was the food and everything that she wanted and he was seated on the back of a bench, looking out to the castle. Felix would figure out the situation he is in, he would figure out the feeling inside his head telling him to walk away, to let her be her firey self with someone else and the feeling in his gut telling him to hold on, to see where this would go.

Rosa could be a lot of things... Rude, brash, short tempered, spoil, even malicious under the right circumstances... However, the girl had a heart under her fires she fed with the thoughts that she needed to keep herself guarded for the sake of herself and everyone around her. She was hard to get along with anyways without adding the worry of her family background to the mix, but she just couldn't stop herself. She needed someone. Anyone to care. While she craved it, she also knew she wouldn't give her heart away easily.
She ran most of the time when she came too close to committing because the idea of one person relying and trusting you to the point that they could love you, and you could let them down was terrifying. Most of the time, she didn't love them, so it was easy. Okay, all the time. She never loved anyone truly... But she was feeling something with Felix.
She smiled, approaching the boy, showing a warmth she reserved for very few, " Felix, " She sighed a bit, looking at everything he brought. Literally everything she had wanted. She knew she was spoiled, but he'd always been keen to keep the little princess's demands in check. However, it seemed he was all too happy (or at least willing) to give her her way this once. She sat in the boy's lap, giving him a kiss, " This is perfect, " She remarked, brushing his cheek affectionately.
Felix wasn't the type of guy who did everything a woman told him to do, he didn't see himself as the lovesick puppy type either. Felix wasn't going to follow every single move Rosa made but for the picnic, he owed her this. This was him owing her a good amount of food. His eyes flicked towards Rosa when she approached him and he moved his arms to be wrapped around her as soon as she settled down in his lap.
"Rosa." he spoke in return, his eyes following her gaze to the food and back to her. He returned the kiss gladly and smirked a bit when she seemed pleased that she got the food, again. Sure she shouldn't get used to this but Felix would always treat a lady like a queen, like they should be treated, nothing wrong about that right?
"Mmm I'm glad." he said and hummed as he looked at her. He didn't mind the touching, he sort of enjoyed it which was strange. Felix wasn't sure what he was feeling but it was nice. "Like the spot i picked? It's nice and private.." he said and grinned a bit.

Rosa could del the shiver up her spine as the boy hummed a bit of satisfaction over her content and affectionate greeting. He was slowly warming up to her more and more, which only garnered more and more attention in ways beyond what had always been a complicated friendship. She smirked a bit as the boy asked her how she liked the spot, of course, adding the privacy of it as he grinned, " Caro mio. Are you trying to tease me?" she purred back at the boy as she smirked, " It's perfect, Felix, " She noted, pulling him in close to her as her arms wrapped behind his neck for a moment.
She slid off his lap, sliding onto the spot next to him to snuggle up as she enjoyed the view. For once, she wanted teasing and messing with him physically. She was actually invested in spending time with him, and honestly, she wanted tk be certain what was happening. She hadn't exactly had any real lasting relationships whether friendships or even romantically. Hell, she was still young, but she really did care about Felix. She knew not everyone approve whether it was Scarlett believing she wasn't good for him or Greyson who already made it clear that he wouldn't put up with him hurting her.
For now, she didn't want to think about it-- she simply wanted to enjoy their afternoon together, " Howve you been?" She asked, looking up as she rested her head on him.
Felix could come off to others as a brat, annoying or even a little punk if nothing more vulgar worded. Honestly he didn't care about what others thought of him or when people tried to tell him what he could or couldn't do. Why would he? What was so valuable about another person's opinion to gain Felix's interest? He knew Rosa had a friendship with the Avery guy, a whiny boy with many issues Felix sure as hell didn't want to get into. Did he care about their friendship? No. Did he feel jealousy? No reason to. He didn't see Greyson as anything other than just another student in this school.
Same went for his siblings, Scarlett was trying to protect him in her own way and yet the idiot was dating a werewolf. Felix wasn't going to shove the facts into her face because he wasn't like that, as long as she stayed out of his business he would stay out of hers. Felix held Rosa close and just smiled a bit as she seemed quite content.
Well at least he did one thing right today. His eyes shifted to look at her when she asked him how he has been and he shrugged slowly. "I've been alright, not much changed since yesterday aside from this." he said with a small smile.

Rosa gave a content sigh, wrapping her arm across the front of his midsection as she looked up to Felix, listening to him contently, "I've been fine, " She remarked calmly, " Just thinking about this, obviously. I ran into your sister. She was... A peach, " The last part came out as if she'd been forced to choke down poison... While dramatic, it certainly wasn't a complete understatement. Scarlet had the element of calm on her side that Rosa... Struggled with. She couldn't fight Scarlett in the physical way she was best at, or even scream at her. She just...endured her.
Wanting to keep things from some sour turn, she looked over to his assortment he had ready for her. She snagged a grape, taking a bite. She loved fruits especially berries. Wine played a huge part in her family, and she'd been allowed small glasses here and there with dinner... Particularly sweet reds. The grapes always took her back home when she had them, even if she didn't believe the grapes here were quite as good as the vineyards in Italy.
She picked another up, tossing it up in the air and catching it in her mouth. It was a useless skill but an entertaining one she'd acquired from years at the vineyards. "Time to test your skills, caro mio, " She chuckled, handing him a grape to see how well he would do.
Felix knew Scarlett was protective for her own reasons but he didn't need her protection. He was a strong male in his own right and he didn't need her or ever cared enough to need her. Felix was doing great on his own without his siblings trying to intervene with his life. His eyes were on Rosa, his fingers stroking her arm and he frowned when she mentioned Scarlett. The girl was intimidating maybe but Scarlett was mostly just a girl with lots of pride and her priorities outside of Hogwarts.
"She can be a jerk but honestly she's harmless." no she wasn't.. Scarlett would kill again if she had to but Felix knew she wouldn't harm Rosa. She had no reason to and all Felix did was shrug. He would stop her, he would tell her off later when Rosa was safely in her dorm and he was free to rage at his sister like he did with a passion.
Felix watched Rosa eat grapes and snickered a bit when she caught one. It was fun to see her playful side and he cocked his head as she offered him to show his skills. "Challenge accepted.." he said with a smirk and tossed up a grape, catching it with his teeth.
"I used to go to the vinyard of my neighbors, they let me help with the grapes and sometimes I got bored." he chuckled and took a grape.

"Oh please, caro mio. I know better than to assumed that anyone is harmless, " She remarked in a calm tone, the teasing devoid in her speech. In her family's life, it was life or death, And she knew she wouldn't... She.. Couldn't afford to just a accept that anyone was harmless. Not even his sister, despite her inability to feel any fear from the girl's cold stare. She had that same icy glare to her that had tantalized her with Felix. That cold indifference that she'd broke through with him.
She grinned up at the boy before kissing at his neck soft and slow to mess with him a bit. He always kept so calm, it was almost as entertaining as it was enjoyable to press his attraction to her. Obviously, the feeling was mutual, but to be honest, the boy hardly tried for anything. Admittedly, it was different. She generally slept with people maybe once or twice at most. There were few reoccurring, other than Grey of course, and she'd always be up for another great night if Kay was up for it, but it had always either been her stringing someone with no intentions or just her having fun amongst friends.. This however? This was... So outside her comfort zone she didn't know what to expect.
She sat up a bit, but didn't dare leave from her comfortable perch directly against him, " What did you bring?" She asked with a smile, giving her date a quick peck affectionately, reaching over to open the bag to peak in a bit. Something smelled delicious, and frankly, she was smitten for a moment over feeling spoiled. It was so small, and yet, she loved the feeling of someone just giving her what she wanted to make her smile so genuinely.
