With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Some days were dreadful, extremely dreadful. Scarlett had to spend time in school while worrying about a lot of things outside of the school. She was supposed to become a healer in the near future but how was she going to do that with all that's been going on. The girl was seated in the courtyard, her bag beside her and one leg crossing the other. Her hands were holding onto a newspaper spreading more hate and fear for werewolves each and every single day.
Scarlett let out a small sigh and waved her friends off to leave her alone. They weren't real friends, more like a possey and she didn't need them right now. She needed to focus on herself some more and this was not useful for her right now. Her brown eyes scanned the area, looking at students living life like there wasn't a single care in the world. Honestly how could you move on with your life as easily as this? Scarlett truly couldn't believe that none of the students were affected by the ministry and their ridiculous decisions.
Her attention was brought to a female nearby and her eyebrows formed a subtle frown. Now what did she want? She wasn't a big fan of this girl and she knew damn well that the girl had her eyes on her baby brother. Scarlett didn't interfere with his life choices but she surely did not agree that Rosa was one of the choices that were healthy and good for Felix. Felix was a good kid, he just didn't show it. Scarlett just looked back at the newspaper hoping Rosa would just pass her by and leave her be.

Rosa was practically glowing as she entered the dungeons, having just returned from an.. Ahem, eventful afternoon with Felix. A date among all things. Having someone spoil her, especially if they weren't the type, was somehow made her incredibly giddy. She was a year older than the boy, which somehow, perplexed many, but it was hardly any mystery to her. He was the kind of calm she needed to keep herself in check. He didn't sugar-coat things, and yet despite keeping her grounded he still knew he could give her the world.
It was fun and exciting trying her hand at something new with him. She didn't know what was meant to be lasting, because frankly, she'd never had something serious. However this went down, he'd been her friend before and she could only hope that either way they could... Somehow keep it that way no matter what. She walked past a familiar face, Scarlett Bianchi. The subtle furrow wasn't lost on Rosa. Hell, she subtly judged people most of the time. She simply quirked a brow, " Scarlet, " She greeted in a low, abrupt tone as she grabbed her bag she'd left next to the chair she was sitting it.
She didn't really... Do small talk. She could when she had to, but this wasn't exactly a forced situation. She could tell she didn't like her, though she couldn't have told you why. Had she made out with an ex? Certainly not that could think of. She knew she hadn't given the girl attitude, because frankly, this was the extent of their interactions. Which left one option... Felix. She rolled her eyes, figuring that was her problem, but she knew Felix would give her the fucking third degree if she freaked the fuck out... So, for once in her damn life she bit her tongue.

Scarlett wasn't the most warm hearted person in the world. She was actually the opposite and it was hard to change from it. Though she never really saw Rosa as a warm hearted person. Scarlett wasn't blind, she had eyes and could see the change in both of the two kids as they spent more time together but of course that didn't mean Rosa liked Scarlett or the other way around.
"Rosalia." she returned the subtle and meaningless greeting and eyed the girl with a small frown.
"Looking for my little brother?" she asked with a small smile and sat back a bit. She didn't care for their dating even though she maybe should but she did care about the well being of Felix.
