With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Elena had just finishing her laps around the Quidditch pitch, putting her hands to her knees in an attempt to catch her breath. She'd been taking her Quidditch playing quite seriously compared to other aspects of her life. She was a decent student, but she wasn't the epitome of seriousness. She wanted to enjoy her years in school just as much as she wanted to learn from them.
She straightened, beginning to stretch a bit in the hopes she could help with her cool down without any excruciating pains from pushing herself. She looked up as she stretched her arms, noticing another student on the pitch. She didn't mind sharing so long as it was just her. She smiled, tightening her curly blond ponytail as she got a closer look at the older student.
She knew of Leo more than she could say she actually knew him. He was Liam's star Quidditch brother. That was About the extent she knew beyond the fact he was older and a Gryffindor, but with how close she was to Liam, she wanted to change that. "Hey, Leo, " She waved him over, " I saw your moves out here the other day. You're pretty impressive on a broom, " The half-veela complimented him, comfortably resting her hands on her hips. "I'm Elena, Liam's friend, " She smiled, offering her hand.
Leo prided himself of being quite persistent when it came to studying. On some weekends he could sit still for hours on end and get the necessary work done to score E's and O's on his homework and tests. But eventually he always had to get out of the castle. This moment happened every single day without fault. As today there was no quidditch training scheduled, the Gryffindor chaser decided to do some training by himself instead. It would do him good to get some alone-time in the air and perfect his manoeuvres. Otherwise he would never be accepted into the professional quidditch league after graduation!
Putting on some warm robes against the autumn wind he headed outside, his broom over his shoulder. He was actually rather proud of his broom. It wasn't the newest or most expensive model, but it felt like he knew the broom inside out and the broom always knew what he wanted. It steered at his slightest touch and he would not give it up for anything, even if someone offered him the best broom. It would still not be as good as his.
When he finally reached the pitch, he was disappointed for a moment as he saw someone in the air already. He had hoped to have the pitch for himself. But that was unlikely at the best of times. For a moment he just watched the younger girl fly, hoping that she might be done soon. And he was in luck. After only a few minutes, she landed and started stretching. Wondering if she was done or just taking a break, he walked over to hear. It also helped that her flying techique wasn't half bad. The Gryffindor smiled when he was actually waved over, but it turned into a broad grin at the compliment of his quidditch skills. "Thanks," he said happily and shook the girl's hand very formally. "You wanna throw a few quaffles or were you just done?" he then asked, a bit more enthusiastic now that he knew the person who was occupying his pitch.
