With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Keira had worked a busy week and had been stressed from it. So there was no question if she would go to get herself a drink. The young girl didn't feel like going home right away and decided that she would head to the three broomsticks right after work. It would be a good night to meet people since it was a Friday night. Even if most people in her family would disagree with her life choices, and believe there had been a better way to do something. But she didn't care, it was a way of getting over something that hurt her. It's not like she drank to get drunk, it was only a couple drinks, what harm could be done?
Entering the pub, Keira looked around so that she could stake where she would sit and find what people she could meet. The pub was busy as it was on any night and it didn't really phase her, so she walked up to the bartender. Ordering herself a glass of whiskey, the young woman gave a smile. "Thank you," she said before looking to find a seat.

19! It was Finn's birthday and he didn't mind working that night at all. He actually enjoyed it because he was getting drinks on the house for as long as he worked so he worked most of the day with a smile on his face. The smile never seemed to fade and he could imagine people wondering if he even hurt himself smiling as much as he did.
A girl came in ordering a drink and Finn made it happily, his smile still on his face. He laughed a bit when he served her. "It's on me!" he told her and though he didn't have much company at this hour, he could use some.
"There is a seat near the bar if you're looking for one." he offered before she was able to walk away. She was pretty and he wanted to get to know her.

Keira paused midstep when the server mentioned there was a seat at the bar she could sit at if she want. It also was extremely nice that he basically gave her her drink for free but she wasn't going to complain about that. The man was cute she thought as she gave a slight shrug of her shoulders and took a seat at the bar. "Thank you for the drink that was really sweet of you." She replied with a small smile on her lips. Maybe it would be nice to get to know him after all.
"My name is Keira by the way, and you?" She casually titled her head, curious about this man. He seemed so happy tonight for some reason she had to wonder why. "You seem rather happy, did something good happen?" Keira propped a hand under her chin as she eyed him with another smile on her face.

Now Finn wasn't the type of person to flirt with girls, he didn't surely know how to! But for his birthday he decided to make this girl feel special as much as he felt special today! When he would go home tonight his mother would have chocolate cake for him and he expected all the presents as a pile on his bed.
The young male flashed her one of his biggest smiles. "You are very welcome!" he told her with a big smile and drank from his own drink happily. Nothing could ruin the day Finn had, not at all. His spirits were up and therefor he was going to make her day just as great.
"Pleasure to meet you Keira, I am Finn! Did we go to school together?" he asked her curiously, he didn't remember her and he was sure he would have because she had a lot of tattoos that were really pretty.
"I am always happy but today is my birthday actually!" he pointed at a button on his shirt with the number 19 on it. "You have a lot of tattoos, did you design them? They are very pretty and I think you look really cool with them. Not that you wouldn't look cool without them of course."

Keira thought he was very sweet and it helped that he was cute too. She wasn't a huge flirt by any means nor did she have much luck in the dating department, she was far too work oriented at times. Too serious her friends would say. As she took a drink out of her glass she kind of grinned when he mentioned it was his birthday. So that explained his good mood at least. "Oh it's your birthday? Well happy birthday Finn!" She replied with a small chuckle leaving her lips.
"As for school..I was two years ahead of you I think. But I think I remember seeing you from time to time in passing on the way to classes." Keira smiled once more as she answered his questions and listened to his next ones about her tattoos. She guessed she did have quite a few as she glanced at her hands and arms in particular, she even had some on her legs and along her sides. "Well some of them I designed myself and others friends have. Thank you though! I do love them even if they are too many of them. What about you? Have any of your own or nah?"

Finn felt his cheeks flush red, did he really just flat out mention a girl's ink? The boy was a bit scared of her reaction but when it turned out into kindness he felt like he was slightly blessed. He often didn't realize his words could sometimes annoy or insult people, he was a nice guy after all!
Finn smiled with a nod as he looked at her. "That must be it!" he didn't really think he would stand out besides his big glasses. Finn still had a smile on his face, it never really left as he offered another drink.
"They are very lovely, I don't have any tattoos, needles terrify me but I am very much in awe of yours." he rambled a bit.

"Aww I get that. Needles can be kind of scary at first! But getting them isn't too bad and depending on where you get them done..sometimes it barely hurts." Keira explained to him with a smile as she took the offered drink since she had finished her own from earlier. Taking a sip of it she leaned back in her chair as she eyed the place for a moment. It wasn't terribly busy so she didn't feel too bad about keeping Finn distracted. It just felt nice to have someone to chat with that wasn't just interested in a pretty face.

Finn wouldn't be able to get himself inked up like that or at least he didn't think he would be. It sounded quite painful but she looked really lovely with it so maybe he was just overreacting a little about the pain. Finn shot Keira one of his famous bright smiles and nodded.
"It sounds exciting and scary. Maybe one day I'll try one." he was joking, he might have been a lion but nope no tattoos for him.
"Not really! I do have to check on my dog, do you like dogs?"

"Well it's not for everyone, don't feel pressure or anything about it." Keira kind of chuckled as she finished her drink. She was actually enjoying herself tonight just by talking with Finn, he was cute and actually nice which was a change for her. Well at least her usual conversations with guys anyway. Keira didn't always have the best luck with guys, they either lost interest in her too fast or they cheated on her so it left her a little jaded about relationships even though she gets lonely.
When Finn mentioned dogs she actually smiled a bit at that, nodding a little. "Yeah I love dogs. What kind of dog do you have? What's their name?" She asked curiously with a slight tilt of her head.

PAYIN' ANYTHING TO ROLL THE DICE JUST ONE MORE TIME
Finn didn't think tattoos were a bad thing but he just didn't see himself having them anytime soon. Maybe one day he would. The male didn't say no to anything forever, he knew some things could happen to him either way, his brother had a lot of tattoos all over his body.
"Well maybe one day I could get one but I would want an animal then." he said with a grin. "Maybe something tough like a dragon." he joked and eyed her drink. "Refill?" he asked as it was still his job to serve her whenever she wanted him to.
"I got a king charles spaniel, her name is Lady." he said and grinned a bit. "From the movie."
