With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Since he got his prefect badge he was allowed to go to Hogsmaede to keep an eye on his fellow students. Most importantly: make sure everyone got back safely. Junaid had never been here before. Last year he couldn’t go because the muggles from the refugee center didn’t understand it. So today he was exploring the tiny wizarding village for the first time.
Junaid immediately noticed how amazing it was to have a place without muggles. Everything seemed so peaceful and people seemed happy. A lot of students seemed to be going into a specific place so he followed. It seemed to be some kind of restaurant or inn. Similar to the tea houses at his home country but a lot louder.
The Hufflepuff was a bit intimidated by all this. He decided to settle at a quiet place at the bar. Biting the inside of his cheek he shyly made eye contact with the person working behind it. “Um… hi,” he greeted the youngman not sure what else to say. Oh right he was supposed to order something. “Could I please get a cup of tea. No milk please,” he asked the worker with a kind smile. English and their milk. Jun still remembered the shock when he first found out.

Hogsmeade meant lots of students came by to get something to drink, butterbeer is often the most ordered treat they ask for. Finn had been making so many butterbeers that his fingers started to feel cold from all the ice that goes in it. The boy had been washing his hands under warm water when he heard a voice greeting him.
Finn dried his hands and made sure his glasses weren't in the wrong place before flashing the boy a bright smile. "Hello! What can I get you?" he asked him and when the other boy ordered tea without milk Finn laughed.
"Tea? I can get you tea!" thank god not butterbeer. He started to boil the water and prepared the boy's cup.

Junaid was stunned by the young man's smile. “Ah! Pomegranate, please,” he replied to the question. "A-and I am Junaid. Not your man. I-I don't eh..." Flavors like that took him home. His Turkish aunt always loved to make them Turkish tea. And he loved drinking it.
Taking a quick gaze around himself, he noticed everyone holding fomy cups. “Oh… Is tea odd?” He mumbled in himself and glanced at the kind bartender for help. When he looked up he saw the bartender was laughing. Jun smiled back shyly only to turn pale when he realised the guy might be laughing at him. “I-I'm sorry if it is too much trouble I can order something else,” he said afraid he'd made a fool out of himself. “What do people usually drink here?” @finn,

Finn didn't mind making tea for people who asked for it, he was truly debating on a cup for himself while he was at it. The boy was happily working on the order as the other boy spoke to him. He seemed nervous which was not Finn's intention and he hoped he could make it better for him. "I'm sorry Junaid, I was just being nice here." he assured him.
"It's alright, tea is often drank by staff here. People order alcoholic beverages, giggle water or butterbeer. Have you ever tried butterbeer?" he asked and looked at Junaid. If the boy wanted something else he would stop making the tea and do that.
"I can make whatever you want my friend, just say the word." he said and grinned a bit.
Junaid swallowed and looked down in embarrassment when the guy told him he was just being nice. Did he just have another misunderstanding? When would this stop. “D-do people of this country usually call people ‘my man’ or ‘my woman’? I-isn’t it a little odd to call someone you’re not married to that?” The Hufflepuff rambled trying to save himself from looking like a jerk. The bartender had been nothing but kind towards him. “I’m sorry, I misunderstood you,” he admitted with a blush on his cheek. Sure this guy must thing he was weird now.
“Butterbeer?” He blinked and shook his head. “I haven’t. Is there alcohol in it? I don’t drink alcohol, not even a little bit.” Mind affecting substances went against his religion. His mind should always be clear so he had better contact with his god. The flashed the bartender a sweet little smile and nodded. “Thank you, sir. I will have some tea in that case.”

Finn didn't need to make this boy uncomfortable and he wasn't from around here for sure either. The boy with the glasses grinned and made the boy his cup of tea, he found the flavor he liked and he placed the cup in front of him. His smile never faded and Finn just hoped he made this boy happy with the tea.
"Here you go! Oh and butterbeer is the most popular drink, no alcohol but it is very sweet." he said and made himself a glass, he topped it off with the ice cream and smiled a bit.

“Oh! Thank you, sir,” his eyes lit up with excitement when his tea arrived. This would help him relax in this new environment. He also quite liked the kind bartender. He reminded him a little of a cousin of his.
Jun listened with attention to the guy when he spoke of butterbeer. “I love sweet things!” Junaid almost squeeked, just managing to keep his cool. He then nodded with passion. “Can I? Yes please!” @finn,
