With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Dear Askold,
I know we haven't spoken in several months, but I have a new development which I believe you may be interested in.
Enclosed in the package are issues of a new newspaper published by the Cotswolds that we are trying to distribute among friendly citizens. If you would make these available in Hogsmeade, we would be very pleased.
I am glad to see you've finally decided to become more active. Better late than never. I will get onto sharing these around the village as soon as I can, and I think I have a way to get a batch into Hogwarts. I also have a contact in the Trossachs, so I might send a copy to them, to try and persuade them to join us rather than stay with the other pack.

Dear Askold,
I'm glad you'll be able to distribute them! It's difficult to make sure we get them to everyone who needs them; we don't have the Daily Prophet's owls, nor do we charge any money for a subscription.
I encourage you to make sure the papers get out there, though I must say I am a little nervous that you plan to give some to the Trossachs. History has shown that they aren't very friendly to our cause. I have some doubt that sending them this paper would do anything except upset them.
Be careful of Hogwarts, as well! I know there are plenty of students who support werewolves there, but not all, and not all staff, as well. If you get a student to distribute them, make sure you trust them.
The less supporters Trossachs have, the better, so I'll take a chance with them. If I can make them think differently for even a moment, I'll call it a success.
I also have full trust in my contact for Hogwarts. And if something goes wrong, I'll take full responsibility, whatever that will entail.
Do you need me to buy paper or ink in bulk or something else of the sort?
