With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

With a simple look it was clear that it was time for unbridled attention among the students, " Alright, it's time to begin-- today, we're doing something a bit more entertaining, " She remarked as the chalk floated and worked at the black board behind her. It'd been a long enough year, and for many of the students, she'd been pressing the lessons fairly hard. She demanded perfection for their own good. Charms was the basis of most magic, and to build true strength, each and every one of them needed an indestructible, fortified base to build upon.
While the jinx she chose wasn't easy by any means, it took a singular concentration on the target, " Today, we're going to try our hand at the Dancing Feet spell, " The woman remarked with a small smirk, " While it doesn't seem like a particularly dangerous spell... I can assure you it can lead to catastrophic reprocussions if not used properly, " She told the children as the chalk wrote 'Tarantallegra.'"Originating in ancient Italy, can anyone tell me famous volcano eruption caused by this jinx?" She asked her hands clasped in front of her.

Walking into the Charms classroom, Alex rubbed the back of his eyes with his hands. It had been a long week - emotionally exhausting, in fact, with Professor O'Connor's class about boggarts and he just hoped against hope today wouldn't be one that made him feel nearly as vulnerable.
Taking a seat at the first free table he saw, Alex wasn't entirely positive if anyone was going to sit next to him today - did anyone even want to? Did he want anyone to actually sit next to him anyway? Unpacking his belongings, Alex turned his attention towards the front of the class as Professor Malfoy started talking.
Tarantallegra was the spell that Professor revealed they'd be learning about today and, if Alex was being completely honest, he did not want anything to do with this. He hated dancing, and being forced to do it via a jinx... the thought made his stomach heavy with dread. There was no doubt in his mind that at some point in this lesson, all eyes would be on him. Damn it.
Charms was a fun class in Ollie's opinion so she had no bad feelings about it when she entered the classroom. She sat down next to a Ravenclaw boy and gave him a sweet smile before opening her books and waiting for the others to come so the class could get started. As she put down her things on the table, Ollie looked around with curious eyes to see where her siblings were and her boyfriend was before looking back at her books and turning to the boy next to her.
"Hi, how are you?" she asked him kindly and turned to the professor when she started the class. Ollie arched her brow for a moment. She never heard of a spell causing a volcano to errupt and that sounded really scary. Who would do such a thing? Ollie nervously looked at her books now, not sure what to answer because she had no idea. "Do you know the answer?" she asked Alex softly. He seemed quite uncomfortable and Ollie just told herself that she'd be here if he needed some support in a way.
Sitting at an empty table near the middle of the class room, Aggy let out a long and arduous sigh because she was bone tired. Exhausted, in fact. She hadn't been able to sleep again and out of the absolute goodness of her heart, she had decided not to wake Evan. Call her Mother Teresa, she was practically a saint because of her one good deed. She probably resembled the woman as well, given her current state of appearance because the old gal had dark bags under her red-shot eyes too, right?
As Professor Malfoy revealed they'd be learning the Dancing Feet spell today before asking the class what volcano had erupted as a result of it, Aggy raised her hand. "Even though it's the dancing feet spell and intended to be used on said body part - surprise, surprise, I know you're all shocked and surprised - it can cause reactions out of legless targets too. Such was the case with Mt. Vesuvius where the caster managed to make it erupt," Aggy answered, before reaching up to rub her weary eyes with the back of her hand.
