With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

They won! Mavican was beyond delighted about it and the moment she stepped off her broom, the moment she felt the rush of victory she couldn't stop smiling. While everyone made their way back to the castle she felt like it was time for music and celebration! The redhead didn't want to throw a party or anything but they all deserved to celebrate, the team and the house! With a smile on her face she walked into the Ravenclaw common room and was already deafened by cheers, loud music and she even spotted a couple making out.
"Let's celebrate!" she said and took Casey's hand in her own. "We did it! I knew we could do it!" she called out to everyone and looked at Casey. "This is your time to shine." she told her with a smile and motioned for her to move forward and take in the praise and delight of the celebration.

It was weird how things had turned out for Casey Stevens, from her parents' divorce to her father's sudden death, it was a surprise she was able to win the biggest game of the season. The Seeker was still in a phase of shock when she walked into the Ravenclaw common room, her body was sore from the wipeout she did moments after she caught that little golden ball. She didn't believe she was able to do it, but with her family telling her to play her best; she did and they won. It was unbelievable for the female and she needed a moment for herself.
She looked at Mavican as they walked into the tower and all the cheers near her ear. It was overwhelming for her and she smiled through the pain and how uncomfortable she was to get some attention from people she barely has spoken a word too in the past. Later she'd write to her brothers and tell them the results of the game.
"This is so unreal," she said to Mavican, having to yell it over the cheers and shook her head.
Skye had gone to the Quidditch game, not least because she rather thought she might have been summarily executed by her Housemates if she hadn't, but she supposed she had to admit that it had been worth watching, and she'd needed a break from studying anyway. It looked as if she was going to get rather more of a break than she had been bargaining for, since there was clearly no way on earth that she was going to get sufficient peace to work on anything after the result of the game, but such was life, and OWLs weren't for... oh, weeks.
Slipping through the crowds as best she could, which was no easy feat, the redhead finally managed to get close enough to the players to tap Casey gently on the shoulder. "Told you you could do it," she pointed out with a smile. "Well done." She didn't want to stay long, not least because she was sure that she would have to shout if she wanted to make herself heard before long, but she had to say something.
