With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Rosa was nestled onto a blanket with her designer shoes set next to her along with a slew of textbooks an papers. She hated studying. While she may have been a good student, she preferred to learn things hands-on and straightforward. Just tell her what the hell to do, and it wasn't an issue. However, reading through everything on subjects that weren't exactly awe-inspiring? Well, it was the worst. She huffed as she sent little notes back and forth to Felix.
Frankly, she just wanted to talk to him about the boggart and spend a bit of time with him to clear her mind. He was stubborn just as she was, though he certainly could keep a cool temper long than she could. The two were like fire and ice, but she couldn't help but need her opposite around. She smiled as she heard the sound of footsteps approaching, " Mio Bello, " She purred, moving her stuff to make a spot right next to her, " How kind of you, " She grinned cheekily over the food, clearly quite pleased with herself.
It was no secret that the girl was used to getting spoiled so having him give in to her was a bit of a thrill for the little princess, " Did you remember the chocolate?" She smiled, peeking over a bit to see what he had brought her.

Felix was annoyed. He really did not think he would waste time bringing food to some girl. Felix let out a sigh as he carried some goods and eyed the smug little girl sitting in the grass. He tossed the bag her way and slipped his hands in his pockets.
"I brought whatever those bloody elves wanted to give.." he said and sat down in the grass. He didn't want to spend time with people after the class.
"Why did you want me to bring you food in the first place?" he asked her with a slight frown. "Aren't you supposed to have all the other boys wrapped around your finger instead of me?"

Rosa stood with a smile as the boy seemed so... Vexed having brought her what she wanted, " To be fair, mio caro, if you hadn't wanted to see me you wouldn't have bothered. I think we both know my pouting through an owl wouldn't have been enough alone to get my way with you, " She remarked, looking in the sack. Of course, there was chocolate. "Yes, we'll pretend you didn't tell them to add that, " She teased, setting down the bag with a smile.
"Maybe I just like having you specifically, " She remarked, quirking and eyebrow at the grouchy little Gryffindor. She smiled a bit as she leaned in and pressed an affectionate kiss at the boy's cheek, " Now, stop mopeing and come sit with me, " She smirked a bit, sitting down with and taking out the chocolate. Granted, she had absolutely wanted the snacks and food, but she had specifically wanted to bug him to come spend time with her. He could've easily ignored her, and yet, there he was.

Girls were so hard to understand. At least his brother's girlfriend kind of person was a cute girl and not some unexplained being that looked like a real girl. Is she made out of wood? Was this a test of his patience? He was already seated there and Felix just wanted to know why she was so keen on bugging him.
Felix rubbed the kiss off, thinking it could help him out. The boy raised a brow at her and just kept his safe distance. "What do you want from me besides food?" he asked and cocked his head to the side a bit.

"You really like to over analyze things, don't you?" She asked, enjoying her chocolate as she looked over at the boy. Usually, people weren't quick to question things like 'bring me food' because it usually just garnered something as simple as she wanted food, but she was just glad to have Felix there. Food or not (though it had been a plus).
"I just wanted to see you, " She shrugged, " But, the food is because I was hungry. That was just an extra touch for me. However, I'm willing to share, " She grinned, " You can repay my generocity, if youd feel do inclined, " She remarked, flashing a wink as she tapped her own cheek. Of course, and actual kiss would've been better, but the poor boy seemed confused enough without just grabbing him by the collar and planting one on him.
"I like you. Obviously." She remarked, honestly unsure how Felix was so oblivious. She didn't chase boys, but this one's inability to read signs had made her push a bit harder just so it would click... Unfortunately, she found she had to just come out and say it.

Felix wasn't stupid but he just didn't believe he was capable of doing whatever a girl expected of him. Felix just thought she was being a brat and he really couldn't stand brats. The boy crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes as she spoke, typical.
"No one ever wants to see me. See I am the guy people do not like." he said in a tone that was both confusion and annoyance. "I doubt it." he eyed her as she pointed her finger at her own cheek. He was not going to bloody kiss her.
"You got to work a lot harder than that to get me to kiss you." he said with a frown.
"There is no reason to like me Rosalia." he didn't even use the short version of her name. "Save yourself the trouble."

She narrowed her gaze as he grew a bit snippy, garnering the same reaction, " What's your point?" She remarked, but didn't give him much of a chance to answer, " That's a pretty shitty thing to say considering, " She said, quickly losing her appetite as she set the food off to the side. She wasn't going to boo hoo over it, but damn, at the least she had considered him a friend.
She wasn't going to beg, so she simply stared at him a moment as he went on about how he wasn't the guy people liked and she shouldn't have wasted her time. She rolled her eyes, " Yes, because I'm sunshine and good intentions. The person everyone loves. Let's not ruin my reputation, " Her words dripped sarcasm in return as she adjusted where she sat. "Well, I can assure you that right now you're being kind of a ass so it's not hard to dislike you at the moment, " Of course, that was mostly his attitude towards her that she had an issue with.
He could be annoyed over her antics, but acting like a full on jerk over liking him? Now, that was bullshit. "You can't scare me off or tell me what to do. I like who I like, and trying to push me away without a real reason is dumb."

Felix knew he wasnt a terrible person and he was just being protective over his loved ones, especially after losing Clara a few years ago, Felix was a lot more tense. Felix ran a hand through his hair and looked away from Rosa, honestly why couldn't she let it go.
"I always have been an ass. I'm surprised you notice it now." he sighed and shook his head before letting himself fall back on the grass. Nope he didn't want to look at her right now. Sure they were friendlies but he honestly hated life since the class from DADA.
"I can't stop you, never will." he frowned a bit. "But don't think I don't have a reason. You were there. You saw the reason." he then sat up slowly and got back on his feet.
"That reason is all I need to keep girls at a certain distance."

"You're not always an ass. You may have your attitude, but that isn't even close to the same thing. I've always preferred your sarcasm and calm cruelty, but this isn't that. This is you hoping ill let it go, " She remarked, watching as the boy stood up. "No, Felix, " She remarked calmly, catching his arm as she stood up, " And I swear if you yell at me not to touch you again I'll petrify you, " she remarked. Was she serious? Probably.
She gently tugged him over by his hand to her. She wasn't all snuggles. In fact, she was mostly heated arguments and sarcasm, but... For Felix, he had always overpowered her rage with his calm. She needed that balance as much as he needed someone to tell him it was okay to freak the hell out sometimes, " I saw you yell because you were pissed and hurt-- kind of surprised you had the ability to yell honestly, " It was a half joke, but honestly true. She'd never seen him yell, and having the first time happen at her, while it pissed her off, had also been understood.
"It was a shit lesson sticking a bunch of teenagers in there to show off their greatest fears, but you also faced it, " She caught his cheek, hoping he'd stop trying to avoid looking at her as she gently ran her thumb over his cheek, " I'm not going anywhere.."
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Why couldn't she let it go? Really what was so hard about it? Felix really was having issues with telling her to let go because she just wouldn't listen. The boy tried hard to be calm about it, not to let his layer of ice be broken by her fire and he just frowned as his eyes were on the ocean and not the girl.
Felix felt her grab his arm and tugged at it for her to let him go, his answer a simple glare. "Then let it go." he said coldly. The boggart bugs him and he didn't need a hug or anything other than time to get it out of his head.
"I never yell. I was just..." yeah he was angry and this boggart showed him exactly what he felt was his future if he ever chose to be with someone, which is one of the many reasons he refused suitors.
"The lesson sucked yes but it didn't make me face my fears. It made me realize there are monsters out there that everyone is willing to ignore." he then finally looked at her with the same frown.
"I am not ignoring the monster I saw. You don't have to go anywhere either, I'll just go and make sure that monster never exists." he stepped back to walk away.
Post by ROSALIA CAPONE on Apr 23, 2019 21:14:59 GMT
She snapped as he finally pushed her. A monster? "If you're a monstern then what the hell does that make me?!" She growled, knowing for damn sure he was being ridiculous, " This is insane. You realize than right? You may be able to be an asshole, bur you and I both know that's ridiculous!" She snapped at him, stepping in front of him and pressing her index finger to his chest.
"And furthermore, " She snipped, " The fact that you think you could be a monster, and that is get in the way somehow. Please. That alone is insulting, " She crossed her arms over, " I could take you, " She remarked, " So if you did act like a monster, I'd treat you like one. Right now you're not. However, I wouldn't say youre not acting stupid."
She had a blaze in her blue eyes as she glared at him, unsure if she should've knocked some sense into him. He never hurt the people he cared about... Save for that current moment. Believing he could do anything like that? Yeah that hurt. "Get your head out of your ass, Felix, " She remarked. "With that logic, Im going to become my fucking mother... Just like that boggart. But that's all it is. A fear. But I'll be damned if I let that fear define me or even you. Our parents suck-- so prove that you're better. Quit hiding and masking it as protecting people, because youre just acting like a coward." IT was some tough love, but he needed it.

And here she went. The fire of Rosalia just decided to burn Felix some more. Felix just watched her rant like she had anything on him that would make him change his mind. Ever since he can remember his father punished him with his fists and whatever means would shape Felix into the right man and he wanted her to have an obediant wife so he would turn out just like him, a monster.
"You seriously don't get it Rosa." he said and frowned. "I am not a monster... yet!" he tried to step back but instead his eyes turned cold when she called him a coward. No one called him a coward! Felix looked at her with a sense of anger and something he didn't quite understand and sighed.
"You don't know my family but let me enlighten you." he hissed a bit. "My father beats me and every single sibling in submission.. all of us except Scar. Then when he thinks he did it he will try to find us submissive wives so we turn out LIKE him." Felix had disgust on his face.
"He wants to make us him because he feels like he is the perfect example of a real man. He is wrong and I fight him on a daily basis about it but what you saw there.." he looked away for a second.
"That was the sight of him winning the fight." Felix turned to Rosa again. "So principessa.. I don't want to push people away but this is my fight and I'll be damned if you got caught in the crossfire."
Felix didn't hate her, he didn't want her gone but if she got hurt because of him then how would he even forgive himself? Wouldn't he be like his father and get an innocent girl hurt?
"I know you aren't an angel, no need to remind me. But really what is it about me that stops you from walking away from me like you do with others?"
Post by ROSALIA CAPONE on Apr 24, 2019 6:14:40 GMT
"You'd have to make the conscious choice to be like him and obviously that has never been you... In all the years I've known you, not once have I ever come close to believing you could ever be like him, " She remarked, throwing the glares right back at him. Fire and ice; always at odds when they didn't agree. When he told her about the beatings, the which felt sickening anger set in... Starting at him. She was clearly angry beyond words as her face reddened a bit, "He beats you.." She repeated in a low growl, it was triggering her as she thought about her mother. That controlling, crazy bitch. She felt her jaw clench as she swallowed a bit, trying to get a handle on her anger... Trying to take on more... Rational thoughts...
Because at the moment she was considering some pretty unrepeatable acts on his father.
Her anger kept on growing, despite the fact she was trying to control it with his explanation. She closed her eyes angrily trying to take a breathe, when she heard him say he was trying to protect her. She looked at him a moment as she caught his eyes. A calm was settling as she softened her gaze, " Mio caro..." She remarked, taking his hand, " As precious as it is that you think you can protect me-- I can choose my battles. Even if it's choosing yours too, " She sighed a bit as she closed her eyes a moment, taking back a bit of her self control.
"I've never just walked away, " She replied with a shrug, " Ive always made my intentions clear if I want something. If I wasn't serious, I would've already left, " A simple reasoning enough. He was her friend, and she was his. Like most of her friendships, they were based of brutal honesty. She would call people on their shit where it was necessary and fight for them. Period. "I will fight for you, but I won't beg you to want me the same way, " She remarked, leaning against the tree they'd been sitting under.
"I can promise you, Im not scared of your father-- and after what you told me... Im not above poisoning his food."

Fire and ice. Two elements that should never mix together yet they always find each other. It was like the worst love - hate relationship he could find. Felix ran a hand through his own hair as he had to stand here listen to her going on and on like he didn't know already what she was saying. Then her attitude changed and that... that annoyed him.
Felix sighed, enough was enough here. She pitied him, the one thing he hated more than anything, pity. He didn't want her to feel sorry for him, to see him for a victim. No he wanted none of that and if she was really his friend, she wouldn't.
"No. Don't even for one moment think I am a victim here." he warned her and pushed her against the tree. "I am not.. a bloody victim.. capiche?" he then kissed the fucking idiot before running off.
