With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

December 2018 Winter Break Triggers: Suicide Mention | Death Mention
It had been hours since the Faulkner’s got the owl about Elizabeth Bennett’s sudden death, and how it turned a family dinner into a disaster zone. The blonde hid in her bedroom, the door locked and she hadn’t been seen since. The letter was in her hand as she sat on the floor of her bedroom, her hand on the last owl she got from her now-deceased girlfriend. It was the day before she received the letter from her girlfriend, clearly in trouble with something and apologized to Shay. Was this a cry for help? The female could remember writing a quick owl back, telling her to hang out and she’d be there the next day to help her out in any way. Got nothing after that.
Shay figured she could go over to the Bennett’s household to spend time with her girlfriend before they were to go back to Hogwarts. It was their final year and Shay promised to plan their future together - wanting to travel together after. Those plans were put on hold indefinitely, and Shay had no idea what her future will hold.
Shay was seated in her bedroom, sitting on the floor with her back against her bed and her hand on the letter. Her wand sat beside her as she debated her life now. Was she going to go back to Hogwarts? Perhaps not.
There was a knock on the door and Shay groaned in response. ”Leave me alone, grandpa…” she said as she moved to wipe her eyes as tears escaped. Goddamn emotions.
Alistair made a promise, when his grandparents couldn't take care of Shay any longer he took her in because he knew that she'd do the same for him if the roles were reversed. Did he even know how to help a teenager? Not a single fucking thing. The man had made her something to eat, and with made he ordered pizza and put the slices on a plate rather than handing her a box and a beer as he knocked on her bedroom door.
In less than a week he had turned his home gym into a bedroom for the girl, something she needed after everything that happened to her. Alistair heard her voice, rolled his eyes and headed inside anyway. "Relax kid, I bring food and water.. well.. beer because I didn't buy any kid drinks." he said and placed them on her desk.
If he were better at this he would not have given her beer and pizza but he wasn't so this is what she got. "How are you holding up?" he asked her and sat down on the desk chair.
The moment her bedroom door opened, Shay had peeked up with bloodshot eyes when she realized it was her cousin. It seemed that her brothers and grandparents had gone home, not wanting to disturb Shay. The loss was a part of life, something she should be used too by now, having lost her mother and father during different times in her life. Now her girlfriend, the one person that had pulled her out of her bad headspace was gone. Had taken her own life.
How was she? It was a stupid question, knowing everyone in the family knew that her girlfriend was dead. ”I had found out my girlfriend killed herself...” she said with a cold tone. Shay tossed the letter at his feet, shaking her head as she thought about the last moment she had spent time with her girl. ”That was a cry for help,” she pointed. ”I got that yesterday, I sent an owl back and told her I’d be there later…” she said as she adjusted herself on the floor and held out her hand for the beer.
