With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Raven had baby duty which meant she was at the leaky cauldron waiting for her boyfriend while the child was with her. The little girl was thankfully asleep and Raven felt a sign of relief because of that. The woman had no idea how to deal with a baby in public and was quite annoyed that Dexter left them behind like this. Raven had to take responsibility sure, but there were limits to her willingness and strength in this matter. The woman was spinning a knife on the table, quite bored really and waited for her drink and food to be served.
Now of course she didn't let the knife anywhere near her child, she might be weird but she wasn't that stupid so she had the child on the other side of her knife hand. Raven arched her brow when someone was seated with her and she suddenly felt like clinging onto the blade, her hand slowly moving towards her daughter. Whatever this person wanted it better be just a damn seat and not some kind of invasion. They did nothing wrong and Raven knew she was going to get in trouble.
"Good morning." she said as calm as she could manage.

Emma did not spend the entirety of her working class in pubs. Had that been the case, she was sure that she would have had a far more relaxing lifestyle and would have been generally happier overall. Nevertheless, she did seem to be frequenting them quite often lately, and while she wasn't about to complain, she did wonder what it said about her class of clientele when this was the kind of meeting that they arranged. It might not, strictly speaking, be concerned with her law work, or even, come to that, entirely legal, but it was the principle of the thing that mattered, and if some of her more illustrious clients got the idea that she spent her working hours boozing then she would simply hemorrhage business left, right, and centre.
But there were some things which had to be done, for the sake of family, and so here she was, doing them. Glancing down at the slim gold watch on her wrist, Emma realised that she was, once again, the victim of her own efficiency; half an hour early. And sitting on her own for half an hour even in the Leaky Cauldron was bound to attract attention... Selecting an occupied table at random, she weaved her way towards it. "Good morning. I wonder if I might sit down?"
