With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Hey,
So... back in the day, as my parents so smugly like to say, when landline telephones were a thing and they listened to music via cassette tapes... muggles used to write letters to random people for fun. It was a way of getting to connect with new people, they said. I thought with the magical world having owls and all that, I could try something kinda similar and send an owl to a random person. Who knows whose lap this letter will fall into? Hopefully not the next Voldemort or Gilderoy bloody Lockhart.
Imagine my surprise when I opened and read through the letter, to find not one but many muggle references, written down in a parchment and sent by an owl. Oh the mix of cultures !! Guess there is a rebel in you to openly write such a letter which most won't understand. I mean hardly how many of the students know what a cassette is and what it is used for.
Anyways, I wouldn't say that I belong to the age which you are referring to, but I do know that anonymous letters were a thing back then. My dad has a box full of letters, probably from my mom stashed in our attic. Lol I never would go near that rack while cleaning the place.

Yeah, you may as well call me James Dean for being such a rebel without a cause… sending an anonymous letter and everything. Oh boy, I really enjoy living on the wild side. But you have a point - most students who grew up even in the muggle world probably have zero clue what a cassette is. Guess that's one of the downsides of growing up in the 2000s.
I'm guessing you're a student then. Did your mum make a point of sending sweet little love letters to your mum then? How 90s of her. I'd stay away too, just in case they verged on the smutty side.
A rebel.. ooh interesting.. wonder what your friends say about someone like you... curious to know..
I wouldn't call it a downside just because you don't know a casette. can you imagine the troubles we've had to go through to listen to a song on the go, if we were still using those heavy casette players. Each generation have their own share of pros and cons I guess...
Yupa student... what about you? Are you at Hogwarts too? I wish you were, it would be interesting to figure out who you are.. I know that this is anonymous and all, but guessing is always fun. I won't cheat I promise.
Yup, according to dad, mom was pretty old-schoool and wanted to do things the old way, dunno what she means by that. At least to me the wzarding world is pretty old in it's ways and customs.. I mean who wears black robes at school? I feel like I am in a mourning or so, no offence if you like black color. But it is soo depressing for me to wear it each day.

My friends would have a lot of interesting things to say about me, I'm sure. I can't say they're all good though.
I would call it a downside purely because isn't it good to know about things from the past? I'm not saying we all need to go back to the 90s and start listening to cassettes again but it wouldn't hurt to know what's led up to us listening to music via spotify and apple music.
Guess your wish came true. I'm a student. You can try to figure out who I am, that's half the fun, isn't it?
Maybe the robes are a bit morbid, but the colour black is on half the school uniforms in the UK so I guess you're sucked in if you get depressed seeing others wear black.
Well then I am curious to know what they would say... how about you guess and tell me? since I don't know you, or your friends. My friends would describe me as caring, stubborn and loyal...
Hmmm I don't know ... never thought of it that way.. But now that you put it like that, yeah it would be interesting I guess. At least to those who don't know, not for me...
Oooh soo lemme guess, you must be a lion or a snake.. or may be a badger or a raven .... lol I can't tell at all from this short of an interaction... may be down these letters I can try and guess which house you are from.
Yeah, I know right.. that was why I decided to opt for Hogwarts.. I mean no use going to another school when I ave to wear the black robes all over ... I mean most of the wizarding folk wear black often... why can't they wear some normal colors like blue green etc..
Sooo... what did it feel like when you recieved your hogwrats letter? Did you know about magic before? or was it hte frst time?
