With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Waking up was getting harder, many kids still shook from the dance and in a few days they were all going home to their parents. Felix even made plans but now he had no idea what he was going to do. Back to the abusive home or not? It was a tough choice and he wasn't in a rush in making that choice just yet. Lately he hasn't been himself and Felix didn't like it.
Felix was carrying his homework to the empty classroom and just walked in without bothering to knock. It was used for so many things but Felix used it to work on his essays. Though when he arrived the smell of paint filled the air and his eyes were on his best friend. Viola was amazingly artistic and Felix admired that about her. He didn't have an outlet like she does and though he wouldn't be able to paint a simple tree, he didn't mind watching her.
"Hey Sparky, looking good." he said with a slight yawn. His eyes were red from the sleepless nights and overall he was just exhausted.

It was a bone cold, chilly winter's morning but that didn't phase Vi in the slightest as she sat back on her haunches, staring at the painting she had propped up on a desk in front of her. She was in her element, this close to putting on the finishing brushstrokes when the door squeaked, a tell-tale sign someone had decided to join her. She wondered whether it was grumpy pants Mark, or maybe someone a bit more pleasant before deciding she did have eyes so she could just check, couldn't she?
Whirling around, Vi's eyes landed on Felix, standing there in all his handsome glory. Merlin, that jawline. Vi just wanted to make him sit there and model for her so she could capture the sharp line in one of her paintings - but given her paintings were usually surreal, it'd probably end up being a jaw transforming into, like... an open road or a forest clearing or something whacky.
Lighting up with joy, Vi dropped her paintbrush on the ground, splattering the pretty cerulean paint all over the floor in the process whilst she scrambled to her feet. It was then she practically launched herself in a hug at Felix, smooching all over his cheeks in the process before giving him a tiny little kiss on the tip of his nose, leaving a load of red lipstick marks in her wake. "You always look fantabulous, but do I really need to tell you that? You just have to look in the mirror to see it." With her daily compliment out of the way, Vi looked at Felix curiously. "So... what's up, buttercup? Whatcha doing?"
Viola's brightness and art was something that would cheer up even the grumpiest soul and Felix's bad mood had faded easily like that. Sometimes he wished he had a dose of that brightness with him so he would never feel sad or alone. The boy had a smile so wide it might even hurt mouth at some point and returned the hug before being smooched to near death. He was about to protest but then she kissed the tip of his nose and he felt his cheeks flush.
"That's sweet of you, thank you I love this suit." he said and smiled a bit before looking at Viola again. His hand moved up to itch his nose and eyed the lipstick on his hand after he did so. "Oh would you look at that." he chuckled and looked her over. "I'm alright." He lied and shrugged a bit. "What are you painting?" he asked and cocked his head to the side.
"How have you been? Made any new friends? A boyfriend I need to have a talk to?" he was protective over Vi but all in a playful matter. He wouldn't beat up someone unless she told him to and he was very against violent solutions but there was no line he wouldn't cross for his friends.

"Anyone ever told you you're the biggest cutie patootie when you turn all pink, Fe?" Vi teased, brushing her thumbs over his cheeks as she admired the red lipstick marks that she'd left all over his face. They looked good, in her opinion! "I love that you can just wear a suit. Most people think they're super duper formal and only meant for, like, dances and stuff but I think you should wear what you want whenever you want, y'know? 'Cause what's the fun in having a suit if you only get to wear it once or twice a year?"
When Felix asked what she was painting, Vi shrugged loosely. "I think it's going to be another woman, her hair fading into the rivers and mountains like she's connected to the nature, you know? It's like a... a mental connection, but brought to real life on the canvas." Vi gesticulated wildly as she spoke, probably not making sense but then again... when did she really? She was scatterbrained approximately 99% of the time.
"Mm... nope, not any new ones - I made an acquaintance, but apparently we're not friends. I can't tell you though 'cause we smooched and I promised not to kiss and tell." Knowing her though... she'd probably forget said promise and end up letting it slip by accident later. "How's, um... was it Rosalia? Didn't you have some... thingy majiggy going on with her? Or was I imagining that?"
Of course Felix always looked stylish and everything he had fit him perfectly. The boy ran a hand through his hair to fix it up a bit, making his ego a bit more bigger by the second that Viola complimented him. Honestly he needed it, he needed to feel better. "I am not pink, it's a masculine shade to my tanned skin." he corrected her with a playful smirk because what the hell kind of excuse to blushing was that?
"Thank you! I actually enjoy wearing them. Sometimes I don't and I don't feel like myself." he said and frowned. Like when he tried to loosen up to please his friends. All he did was get out of his own comfort zone and get his heart crushed in the hand of the most despicable person he laid eyes on. What was he even thinking here? oh right, he wasn't. That was the whole problem, he wasn't thinking.
"She looks kind of familiar, who are you using for her face? I could've sworn I've seen her before." Felix said with a frown, squinting his eyes to make out who this woman should be. "I do like it, blue is my favorite color." he said and smirked. His smirk faded when Viola brought up the she bitch.
"She doesn't exist to me anymore. She used me and I should've listened to you about that." he said and sighed. She really hurt him and he couldn't just forget the pain but he had to live with it. Besides, what they had was it even real? "What we had was a mistake. You were right the first time and I won't doubt you again." Felix hated how he told Rosa his deepest secrets and now they were nothing more than bad memories.
"Can you paint me?" he wanted to change the subject.

"Are you saying that blushing or the colour pink can't be masculine? Here I was, thinking that colours didn't have assigned genders," Vi said, the tip of her tongue sticking out between her teeth cheekily. She knew that they didn't and Felix likely didn't think that either, but it was fun to put him on the spot and hopefully make him squirm.
"Well, they look good," Vi told him, eyes shamelessly roaming up and down his body once more because he really did look super duper good. If she knew that he didn't have some thingy majig going on with Rosalia, then Vi would definitely try and at least get a smooch out of him - well, another kiss if the one at the party counted. That had been a pretty brief peck though. When Felix asked who she was using for a reference in her painting, she grew vague, waving her arms once more. "Just... one of the many leading ladies of Hogwarts! Gosh, girls are just... so pretty, don't you think? Such a shame I've only smoochie woochied one. Wish I could just... plant one on every girl that was willing! Every boy, too, matter of fact."
Vi blinked in surprise as Felix declared that Rosalia didn't exist because... well, wasn't that dark? She couldn't quite remember ever telling him to beware Rosalia but then again, her memory could be a bit shoddy and spotty at times. Maybe she had? "Well, plenty more fish in the sea! I mean, maybe... not as many since you don't like boys, but plenty of girls out there who I'm sure would love to get a slice of Felix pie," Vi said brightly, shrugging as she moved the subject along. She didn't like to dwell in negativity very much.
"Sure can! It'll take a while though. People always think paintings are a snap of the fingers and then done, but they take forever with all of the layers and colour mixing and stuff," Vi chattered, before she glanced at the canvas sitting in front of her. "Maybe I'll paint ya later? Only brought one canvas and I think I'll smash a window if I accio a new one down here from the dorms!"
Felix rubbed his cheek hoping the color would disappear from it. He didn't want to come off as a weird little boy who blushed because Viola made him blush. No he didn't blush at all! That was the truth here. Felix didn't blush. He would refuse until the end of days because he believed firmly he wasn't able to blush like a silly little kid. Viola spoke about the color pink and stuck her tongue out at him. Felix responded with the same gesture, sticking out the tip of his own tongue back at her.
"Maybe one day I will wear pink and you can tell me how manly I am." he said and poked her side. Felix straightened out the sleeves of his jacket and eyed Viola with a smile, he spotted her eyes roaming over his body which just boosted his ego that much more than usual. "Well thank you. Though I do have a leather jacket I don't wear much, it's a shame." he added with a grin. He just liked his suits, it was a way to portray himself as the man his father wants him to be.
When she answered who the girl on the painting was he nodded. "So who is it? Is she in our class?" he asked and cocked his head a little as he did so. Something was familiar about the girl and he was going to bother him until the end of time. "Exactly, I am moving on just fine." he lied and rolled his shoulders into a shrug. "I even work out now! I run in the mornings and it is actually quite fun." he said and looked at Viola.
"Obviously, I don't think you would be able to capture this in one day anyway." he said motioning to himself and grinned. "Works for me, don't need you to break any windows or the canvas itself before even getting to work." Felix looked around the classroom for a moment and back at Viola.
"So who would you smooch? Which girls do you want to smooch huh?" he was curious now.

"I will because colour doesn't have an assigned gender and I'm very sure that you'd look absolutely ravishing in the right shade. Maybe salmon," Vi said, the tip of her tongue poking out between her teeth once more. She didn't look away as Felix caught her checking him out. Why? Because she had absolutely zero shame, that's why, and maybe... just maybe... he'd return the favour and she'd reward him with a little spin. "A leather jacket, hey? You're the baddest of boys, Felix! No wonder all the girly wirlies wanna faint when you walk past."
"Mm, yep. You can say that, but my lips are sealed. You'll find out when it's done. Unless you wanna try unsealing my lips," Vi suggested with a bright grin accompanied with a wink. She was only half-joking, because kissing Felix? Would definitely be one of the better things to do in Hogwarts. Actually, it was a downright smashing idea if you asked her. "Ooohhh, working out, hey? Is that your way of telling me you're getting super duper fit? Maybe you'll be able to beat me in a race!"
"Done deal," Vi said, striking out her hand to shake on it. She couldn't wait to pain him at a later date... and take all the time she needed as well!
Leaning back against a table, Vi decided to leave Felix in suspense for a very long three seconds before she cracked, giggling. "Oh, you know... not Flora 'cause she's, like, straight as an arrow, buuuuttt I wouldn't mind smooching Celeste again and Clary and - oh! - and Elena would be pretty groovy woovy, don't you think? Which girls do you wanna smooch?"
Even while Viola was quite convincing, Felix refused to wear pink. He felt like pink was one of the colors that was really meant for girls, it didn't look good on him at all no matter what she said. "Salmon? That's not pink that's.. orangy.." he shivered and gave her a teasing grin. The boy didn't mind the playful flirting anymore, the thing he and Rosa had was over and Felix was too proud to give anyone second chances. It just wasn't in his nature to give Rosa another chance at his heart when she clearly didn't want it.
"Do they now? I never see you faint!" he said with a fake gasp. Spending time with Viola was something he really needed. He needed to be away from the people who wronged him, he needed to be away from the people who saw him as the dick he pretended to be just so he'd be left alone. He didn't give a shit about Avery and his ex, at least now they can fuck around without the shame of doing it behind his back. Who was he to stand in the way of true love?
"Well you should race me and we'll find out." he offered knowing very well he'd probably let Viola win. "That's her name! Clary." he thought he knew that face from somewhere. "Viola and Clary sitting in a tree." he sang a little before making himself more comfortable. "I honestly don't think I know.." he thought about it for a moment. "I mean I would totally smooch you but other girls.. hmmm." Felix tapped his finger against his chin thoughtfully.

"Mm, no, I know my colours and salmon's a pinkish-orange. I still think you'd suit it," Vi said with a small hum and a nod. This, she was sure of. Vi very admittedly didn't know many things - she was a terrible Ravenclaw, however she did know colours very well and she knew pink would be very complimentary to Felix's skin tone. Moving towards him and standing on her tippy toes, Vi's thumb lightly brushed over Felix's cheek as she teased, "Are you going to blush for me again? You should. Prove my point that pink totally suits you."
"You said you don't wear it often - that's why you never see me faint," Vi said, her eyes gleaming with amusement as she giggled. "The second I see you wear a leather jacket, I promise I'll faint on cue. You've just got to catch me before I boink my head. Deal?" To seal the deal, Vi struck out her palm to Felix with a wiggle of her brows as if to say, you need to shake it to make it happen, buddy.
The corners of Vi's lips twitched upwards as Felix started to sing his little song, and she even gave a little clap-along to go with it to help him keep in tune. However, it was over far too soon... but that turned out to be alright because then he was speaking about far more interesting things, like who he'd want to smooch. Namely, her. Vi blinked up at him for a moment, before breaking out in a smile as bright as the sun and saying with confidence, "You should. Kiss me, that is."
Okay maybe Felix didn't know his colors as well as Viola seemed to. The boy saw pink in maybe three or four shades before the color in his opinion changed to either red or any other color attached to pink. Felix listened to Viola being very confident about her knowledge and he really had no grounds to argue against her because he simply didn't know colors that well. "Maybe for Christmas you can get me a shirt and I will wear it for you." he said though that might have been a huge mistake to even say right now.
"Well give me a reason to blush then. I obviously don't have one right now." he said with a tiny smirk on his lips, he didn't really blush on command because when he did blush, it wasn't on purpose. Felix adored Viola, she was his best friend and he would die for her at this point but not even for Viola could he blush on command. He could cry on command but not blush. There was an arched eyebrow when she mentioned fainting and Felix did want to see that happen even if it was for merely entertaining purposes.
"I wonder if this works.." he said and held his wand out. "Accio jacket." he said and waited. "It's probably traveling a long way..." or he sucked at the spell. "I'll catch you though, can't have any bumps on that pretty head." he didn't want to see her fall on these floors. The tiles might crack her skull open which was less than ideal. Felix shook Viola's hand when she reached it out and nodded. A deal it is. Ever since his breakup he didn't think much about other girls and though he probably should move on, he didn't see a point in being interested in other people either.
"Should I? right here?" he asked and reached out to stroke her hair a bit. "You're not allowed to faint about it though."

Vi definitely stored away the fact that she could buy Felix a salmon coloured shirt for Christmas. She totally intended to make good on that, plus she didn't have to brainstorm some gift for him later on. It was a win/win.
"Are you saying my sheer presence isn't enough to make you blush?" Vi teased, bottom lip stuck out in a playful pout. It didn't last long, however, as she soon distracted by the challenge of trying to make him blush. "Youuu are the cutestest patootiest fourth year Gryffindor boy named Felix and I bet you have abs to die for. I mean, seriously. I'm not gonna ask you to take your shirt off because, uh, we're in a classroom and that would be seriously whacky if you did that but I'm still, like, 1000000% certain I'm right." Maybe if they went out swimming in the summer holidays, she'd get to confirm her sneaky lil suspicion
Felix was being a total gentleman, accio'ing a jacket in case she actually did faint, and Vi beamed up at him. Then his fingers were stroking her hair, and her breath staggered a little because yes, she'd totally said he could kiss her but he wasn't moving. "I'm not going to faint, you silly thing," she said, before deciding he wasn't the only one with bravery in the room. Balancing on her tippy toes, Vi brushed her lips against his in a soft kiss.
This is why he loved her so much. Viola always knew how to make him feel better during times where he only thought about being miserable. The times that she made him smile today were countless because well, he stopped counting. Felix watched his jacket come from the dorm and placed it neatly down on the table. He didn't dislike his leather jacket but he was just not used to wearing it outside of his home. The boy looked at Viola who tried to compliment him just so he'd blush and Felix couldn't help but smile instead.
"Abs huh?" he looked down at his shirt, his brow arched as he slowly lifted it up a bit. "You mean these?" he asked and dropped his shirt with a small smirk. "Alright I am busted, yes I have abs and I am 100000% certain you want to touch them but not in a classroom where people can walk in at any time." he told her before she came up to him to kiss him. Okay see he would have kissed her first but he didn't even understand what stopped him because the moment she kissed him even when it was soft, he kissed her back, less soft.
Felix broke the kiss after what felt like hours but was probably only a few minutes. "Cherry chapstick or something? You taste very sweet." he said, his fingertips stroking his own lips as if it would tell him what the flavor would be.
Post by VIOLA ROSALINE on Jan 1, 2020 10:51:26 GMT
Vi couldn't help it. She was a teenage girl, and the sight of somebody's abs was enough to make her heart and soul and entire body light up with delighted joy. "I'll touch them another day. I'll think about you and your lovely little abs at every waking moment," she declared with a very serious nod, before breaking into a grin a split second later. She really was absolute pants at this whole acting thing.
After a few minutes of smooching, Felix was drawing back, complimenting her "it's strawberry, Felix" chapstick. Beaming up at him, Vi planted one big kiss on his lip before announcing, "We should go and eat something, hey? Let's do this again sometime, you handsome thing you." With that, Vi moved to his side, looped her arm through his and proceeded to manhandle him out of the classroom because apparently kissing made her starving.
Strawberry of course. He always confused his fruits when it came to the chemical flavor of it all. Truthfully he didn't really care if he confused them but he knew a lot of girls treasured their flavored chapsticks like they were the gods to their lips. The boy had enjoyed the kiss for sure but he agreed with Viola that food sounded even better right now because when she mentioned it, his stomach let out a growl of feed me you asshole. "Strawberry, maybe there are strawberries in the great hall." Tis the season or so he thought as he walked with Viola out of the classroom, swiping his jacket before they did so.
"You know I really want strawberries now." he said and smiled as they walked. Well today was full of surprises and honestly the best way to spend his time in his mind.
