With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Insecurities were getting the best of Rose as she had fallen ill to stress. After the ball ordeal she rather would not be found anywhere near anyone. She was sneezing a lot and had burried herself in a fort of blankets and tissues near her. And yet she didn't let Frankie take care of her, she told her that her best friend had better things to do like going to classes and tell Rose all about what drama has evolved afterwards. The redhead was reading a book while cuddled up in a comfortable armchair, a tissue in one hand while the other was holding the book.
Rose needed to tell her friend how she felt but first she needed not to be a snotty mess which was highly not charming. The redhead looked up when she heard someone enter the common room and quickly checked herself out in the mirror, she grabbed her lipstick and made herself pretty enough to look less like shit if it was Frankie coming into the common room.
Sadly when another ginger that surely didn't belong to her family approached her, Rose let out a sigh of slight relief. "Enter at your own risk." she said and held up her tissue.
Lucy was not having the best of days herself, the ball had been a bit of a flop for her, especially after the attack. She’d shepherded back to their common room seeing as she wasn’t injured or had been talking to anyone for that matter. She knew she didn’t have many friends, or people she knew, but that had driven it home for her. She missed home more than she would ever admit to anyone, not even her parents. That had been proven to her the moment that she had sat down at her desk trying to send a letter home and all that had happened had been thick blotches of ink and a few decipherable words as the blots had been caused by her tears adding to the volume of the ink that formed the letters.
Keeping up the cheer as she walked through the castle wasn’t a new thing, maybe Gemini would care if she left, but seeing as they had only met once, not unlike her and Viola she doubted it. Whistling a jaunty tune she ascended the stairs and only stopped when she was near the portrait hole. Giving the password she entered the common room, knowing that she’d either have to start her assignments or find someone to talk to, taking a peek the latter proved the easier one. ’’Risk, nah not really. Nothing a pepper up potion or a nice bowl of chicken soup won’t fix. Speaking of soup, would you want any?’’ Lucy said as she put her book bag down and started rifling through it.
A smile plastered on her face, but not reaching her eyes, not that it had for a while. She didn’t have the ingredients with her, but calling a house elf at school was an option, or so she had heard from the upper years, if you were polite enough. ’’Is Frankie keeping notes of the homework and assignments for you?’’ Being in the same house and often the same class she had noticed the two hung out regularly to often so it didn’t seem a too silly question.
