With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Gem was seated beside her girlfriend in this class, she loved stars and she could spend more time with Charlie this way. The brunette was happily skimming through her book when someone almost tripped over her feet. Oopsie! Did she just make someone trip! that's not good! The girl looked up and blushed. "Please don't apologize! I'm sorry.. you can sit here if you like!" she said and patted beside her.
Gem turned to Charlie for a minute and leaned in. "Can I borrow them? They sound fun." she whispered before turning her attention back to Casey. "I'm Gemini!" She said and held her hand out. "Call me Gem, what's your name?" she was bad with names and she never had classes with this girl before this year so maybe they could become friends.
Alex arrived and stopped beside Mark, rubbing his eyes. The boy glanced sideways, not wanting to seem like the arrival of his good friend would take all of his attention away from the class – although it did. He grabbed a hold on a part of his telescope and acted as if he was going to fix something on it as he leaned a bit closer to Alex asking:
“Tired?”
Hearing other students speak up and say completely nonsense Mark frowned when it seemed like Alex knew exactly what they were talking about. It must be muggle stuff. He looked up at the professor, waiting for his reply as he mumbled to Alexander.
“Liam definitely misunderstood you. I mean, this is not the muggle studies professor… I bet he will get mad now!” And then a small smirk formed on his lips. “And it will be all your fault.” He said, wanting to scare the Ravenclaw – just a little bit.
Rafael had watched his class get out of hand very quickly when Mr. Jordan brought the Death Star. It had caused him to chuckle as he leaned on his desk with his hands in his pocket. He knew where he was coming from, his pureblood mind didn't take that away from him in the slightest. The male shook his head at the comment, and when Mark Grimstone had told him what a solar system was he nodded. "Good job, and I'll give 10 points to Slytherin. And I'll give five points, for asking a lovely question realting to Star Wars, and the death star is not real." he said as with a smile. "I bet many of you think that this class will be the answer, to all your space myths it won't no matter how interesting it is." he said with a chuckle.
The male had to agree with what Alexander Greenway spoke about how they should ask Professor Savage, "And you relay any of your questions speaking of fandoms to her. As I am here for Astronomy purposes, because I will only tell you no with all the questions that you end up asking." he said before getting up, and when he heard Mrs. Clearwater talk about how they'd be singing twinkle little star, and he nodded. "Maybe if you all behave, I will. But that is a song that is reserved for my first and second years." he said with a smirk on his face.
When things started to get out of hand, Rafael got up from his desk. "That will be enough, and no I will not be teaching you about aliens. And it will be twenty points to Gryffindor to Agnes for naming all the planets," he said with a smile. Once it all was done the male had decided to ask his next question.
"Now can anyone tel me the type of planets, that exist in the Solar System?" he asked with curiosity. Hoping this wouldn't get too out of hand.
Ollie wasn't one to judge professors but he didn't seem to realize the things others said, the sarcasm and the fact that they didn't seem to take him seriously. She felt kind of bad for him because Ollie felt the same way, she often didn't notice these things either and sure it ended up causing awkward moments but she didn't want to see the bad things in people and that often made her blind to it.
With a frown she just waited for the actual class to get going and not discuss things that didn't matter. Ollie sat with Evan and Agnes and she looked at them talk and the professor responding to it. Agnes summed up planets and Ollie just started to draw a star type of map in her notes out of boredom.
"Evan what is he talking about?" she asked and eyed him with her big blue eyes. She didn't understand his comments about fandoms or his question, didn't he ask about planets before?
"I feel so foolish in this.." She admitted and hoped Evan and Agnes didn't think she was an idiot.

brayden was beyond bored, the solar system interested him but he wasn't sure why he was put through the torture of astrology, it wasn't something that interested him, and sure his uncle taught the class which is why brayden assumed he'd passed all his way through hogwarts, but he just didn't find it interesting. his mind wandered too much until he heard things that interested him - like aliens but that was shot down immediately - which is sad because aliens are cool.
raising his hand, brayden did know some of the planets, "i know venus and jupiter, you know from sailor moon, mum always put it on, i can't remember any of the others though." maybe admitting to watching sailor moon as a child wasn't the best thing but he could always blame is younger sister but that was the most of his knowledge when it came to planets.
