With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Cooper knew he needed to stay away from his family, when he would have the chance to get away from them. Because he knew they were mad at him and even him getting injured at the Winter Ball didn't do much his parents were worse than ever on him. Even if they thought they had been helping him, but they weren't helping him. So he had decided to go out into Knockturn Alley by flooing from his parent's secret floo network that he had gotten access too. His parents had wanted to spend time and enjoy each other's company. But Cooper didn't care to be apart of the fesitives, so he thought he'd go somewhere better.
He had managed to floo into The Leaky Cauldron and made his way to Knockturn Alley, trying to keep a low profile. Hoping that none of his siblings friends were out and about. Because he did not need that in the slightest, because it was exhausting for him. Because Lyra had eyes everywhere just so she can watch him. Which pissed him off, even if he'd do anything for Lyra.
She was his older sister, and if she knew he was in Knockturn Alley, hell would break loose. But he didn't give two shits, the Slytherin looked around before he entered the antique shop. He had saw the shop was empty with only a shopkeeper working. Which Cooper gave a look, before he went to look through the aisles. The Slytherin found the shop fascinating and he looked at everything, he could get his hands on. This was one of his favorite shops, and he had been curious what to buy. And hoped that no one would report back to his sister,, and it didn't help she worked in Knockturn Alley.
If someone were to spot a Tyrell in Knockturn Alley, they wouldn’t think twice of it. There were times he’d go here with his father for business, and he’d often find himself standing aside while his father worked. There were lectures to Samuel but the man said he needed to teach Oswald the ways of the family business if he were to work in it. And Ozzy wanted to work for the family business, he wanted to own the business but knew Samuel wouldn’t give it to him. In fact, it was written in Sam’s will that Ariella was to take over if something were to happen to Sam. If Sam went to prison for his crimes, Ariella would take over but wouldn’t be the leader until Samuel was dead - six feet under.
Something people were terrified of the Tyrell’s - knowing that they can make some people disappear if someone betrayed them or harmed one of the many children. It had happened before, and it would likely happen again. Now why would Oswald be in Knockturn Alley alone? Maybe it was because he had wanted to do some shopping and was told by his father to check on some businesses there to make sure things were going smoothly. Oswald would write his father and tell him about the ordeal later but for now he wanted to explore.
It had taken Oswald a few minutes to wander around before he spotted a familiar face entering the antique shop. A fellow Slytherin, and even though Ozzy wasn’t one to interact with many people, he knew this boys surname. A Narro. A family he respected. So he had entered the antique shop himself, giving the shopkeeper a nod in greeting before he eyed his fellow housemate. ”Fancy seeing you here, Narro.”
Cooper knew many would say things, because the Narro had been wandering the streets. But he had found the shops here interesting, even if he'd rather not be caught dead with the scum who worked here. He gave a glare to a familiar voice, it the voice of Ozzy Tyrell. The brother of his least favorite professor aside from his nerdy uncle.
"I can't say the same for you, Ozzy." he said with a tiny smirk. He respected Ozzy, even if he didn't care much for the Tyrell family. Despite admiring their history, and business. "I have to say the shops here are fascinating, but I am only here by mere coincidence. The only Narro who should be skulking around this alley, is my dear sister. You know she works at The White Wyvern?" he asked, then again everyone knew just how far Lyra Narro fell.
All thanks to Tobias Jermyn. The guy he burden all his problems on without caring.
