With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Trent wanted to get a drink for the night and he needed to see if maybe he could get in someone's pants for the night. Or try and scope out any wolves who could be of use to Trent. The werewolf didn't like mixing in the wizarding world unless it could be of use to him. And tonight was one of those nights as he had been walking down the streets of Knockturn Alley and entered The White Wyvern. And he took a look around the bar to see that there was some people who could be interesting for him to spend his night with or something.
Walking up to the bar, the wolf had ordered himself a drink. "Could I get a glass of firewhiskey. And if you'd be smart enough put it on a tab please." he said with a sneer in his voice. The bartender gave rolled her eyes and she poured him his desired glass. And Trent gave her a smile back when she handed him his glass.
He took a seat at the bar, and took some sips of his drink. Before turning to the closest person and smirking. "Beautiful winter night wouldn't you say, the temperature is just right." he said with a dark smirk. This man had been in the mood for some conversation, and he intended to get that conversation tonight.
Quinn was asked by her friend to come meet her at the bar and she was sitting there for almost an hour before her friend manage to contact her telling her that she wasn't going to be showing up that night so basically Quinn wasted her night. She was in the process of finishing her last drink her Malibu bay breeze when she heard a voice next to her. Quinn turned to look at the man next to her and simply nodded. "I mean it is definitely cold outside but it is a nice winter" Quinn took a sip of her drink. "So what brings you here Mr. Mysterious?" She teased a little.
Trent had been a fan of the winter due to how it was rather charming. And it was cold as his heart, the man let out a smirk, when the woman responded and he had say she was quite beautiful. The man gave her a charming smile, "Indeed it's a nice winter. Makes it so charming, they say some of the best love stories have happened in the winter." he said as he spoke about the inspiration winter had brought. The man had found any other season to be too hot for his own good, and when she asked him what brought him here for the night. He gave her a smirk, the man had been here for a drink.
"A drink brings me here, love." he said taking a sip of his firewhiskey. And he decided to ask her, "And what makes you call me Mr. Mysterious, when you are just as mysterious?" he asked with a curious smirk. The man was definitely a flirt and there was no lie that he didn't mind some fun tonight. The man let out a smirk, "I'm Trent." he said giving her a sly smile.
Quinn couldn't help but playfully roll her eyes when he talked about the best love stories coming from the winter. "Are you sure you aren't talking about the love stories in the movies? Because I have yet to witness a love story in the winter from someone that wasn't getting paid to kiss someone for entertainment, but don't get me wrong some of those movies are good but the others are not that good" Quinn stated, she wasn't that big of a fan of chick flicks but she did watch a few that she was forced to watch.
Quinn couldn't help but grin a bit. "Sh! I am undercover and you just blew my cover" Quinn joked before laughing. "I'm joking, I was supposed to meet my friend here but she literally just messaged me telling me she wasn't going to make it tonight, so basically just wasted my night" Quinn answered. "Quinn, nice to meet you Trent" she introduced.
Trent had been watching the woman with a smirk, and he had to say she was quite charming and been interesting him. Letting out a smirk, "Well I am pretty sure those love stories are the best. And it's charming either the landscape is just gorgeous if I must so myself." he said in regards to how beautiful the winter looks, and he didn't mind luring someone in for him to get in someone's pants for the night. And when she spoke about how she is used to seeing people get paid for love, "I am guessing you work in the entertainment industry don't you?" he asked with an eyebrow raised as he hoping to learn more about this woman.
He just chucked when she told him that he blew her cover, "Well I must say your cover was charming, but slightly week. Ether way it was still very interesting if I must say so myself." he said with a smirk on his face and giving her a charming look. The woman was quite hot but he also could use someone to talk to during the night. But when she told him that she was joking and he said. "I figured, and your friend was stupid for leaving you for the night. Why would someone want to ditch you, but if you need a friend for a night. I'l gladly oblige." he said giving her an smirk hoping to get right where he wanted her to be.
"Pleasure to meet you Quinn. I haven't heard Quinn in a long time" he said taking a sip of his drink. "Would you like me to buy you a drink?" he asked hoping to charm her.
Quinn couldn't help but laugh a little bit when he talked about the whole love story things and such, Quinn had nothing against love but she never really understood them in ways. "Aw you're one of those guys? The type of guy who believes in the whole true love and what not? Don't get me wrong I have nothing against love stories but they all end the same" Quinn gave her opinion. She was definitely one who gave her personal and honest opinion but then again she is a reporter. When he asked if she worked for the entertainment industry she couldn't help but laugh at him thinking that she was a stripper or what not. Quinn simply shook her head highly amused. "No I am actually a reporter, I always loved to write so being a reporter was the next best thing" Quinn explained.
Quinn held up her drink briefly before taking a sip amused. She placed it on the counter and shrugged. "Believe me I wish it was more convincing but I had to go off of something in such a short amount of time" Quinn teased. If she knew she was going to meet a handsome stranger that day, she would have come up with some better material. Quinn was a little stunned when he offered to be her company for the night, Quinn finished her drink and simply sent a grin his way. "Well Mr. Mysterious I hope you can keep up with me, but I honestly think you'll be much better company then her anyway" Quinn replied not so settle.
Trent now offered to buy her a drink and she looked at him before shrugging. "Well why don't you buy me a drink that you think I'll like and we can drink" Quinn suggested to let him pick a drink and she'd see if she did like it. Her taste was very small so it'll be interesting.
