With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

After she had said goodnight to Oscar, Parker had rushed back to the Hufflepuff basement, her cat following after her. There was a huge grin on the girl’s face as she went through the door of the common room, looking around at the other Puff’s in there before she had rushed off to her dorm room to find her best friend. She needed to fangirl to her, needed to let out her excitement in front of the one person that would understand. Her family wasn’t entirely happy with what they thought were her ex-boyfriend, so they wouldn’t understand this mess.
There was a squeal of excitement when she opened the dorm door, and closed it behind her. ”Ollieeeeee….” she said in a sing-song voice. She moved toward her friend’s bed, looking at her.
Ollie did a thing and maybe it was going to mean her death in many ways, the girl was POSITIVE that she was doing the right thing. Bring her friends together and back in love with each other. Of course she couldn't force them to fall for one another but she knew they loved each other so much, it was painful to watch them be hurt and lonely. Ollie didn't want to torture Parker about her own boyfriend knowing Parker's lover was out of reach.
Now she did the right thing, she gave Parker and Oscar the chance to fix it now they still could. Ollie had been playing with her shirt and fiddling with the material until she heard the dorm door open and she spotted Parker. "Hey! Did you find my thing?" she asked and peeked for a second. Parker moved in front of her and here Ollie was picturing her death but instead she was actually looking so happy.
"Really? You are back together?" she asked and patted on her bed. "Tell me all of it."

The excitement was playing on Parker’s face when she nodded, and chuckled as she had tossed herself on Ollie’s bed, Jack the cat following his owners actions. No, Parker wasn’t furious at this trap that her friend had set up even though she should. There was no way she can be mad at Ollie for anything, and she was so excited at that moment to even feel angry. She can remember the note which she had put in her pocket of her sweatpants, and she had reached to take it out, handing it over to her friend as the cat moved to headbutt Ollie’s hand.
”Yep! And he asked me to the ball.” she said as she hummed happily. ”I said yes of course. Now I just need to find the perfect dress to knock him off his feet.” she said, and eyed her friend.
”Did you really lose something or was this planned?”
Ollie wasn't some evil mastermind. She didn't know half of the time what she was doing. The girl watched Parker sit down on her bed and smiled a bit as she did so. The girl wasn't sure what she should say, she did this for Parker, to make Parker's life better and Oscars, and now her friend was here on her bed smiling like an idiot which was adorable. Ollie chewed on her own lip and looked at her best friend.
"He did? Really?" she was so happy for Parker. Ollie took Parker's hands in her own and squeezed them. "That is amazing Parker! You both will look amazing I am sure." she said and shook her head. "You have the best fashion sense in the entire school and we both know it. You saved me so many times I will help you if you want." Ollie was actually so happy for her right now and she wanted to help more.
"Maybe I can ask my mother for some catalogues on dresses!" she suggested and cocked her head when Parker asked if she really lost something. "I planned it.. sort of.. I mean it's only Mittens's cat toy!" she said and giggled a bit. "What else happened? Details Parker!"

Parker was beyond excited for this dance coming up, knowing that her outfit would be flawless and people can be jealous. Her family wasn’t going to be entirely happy on who her date was, but she needed them to get over themselves. If they said something, there will be hell and if one feared her sister’s anger, then they should fear Parker’s. She was a Tyrell, and she wasn’t afraid to curse people out if needed. Sure, she probably won’t be able to get away with murder but she can try! The grin wasn’t going to go away anytime soon.
”It was beautiful. He had set up a little thing outside, and lucky for him, Jack ran outside so I noticed it. I swear this cat is going to be the death of me.” she said as she looked down at the cat who had flopped down to snooze in Ollie’s bed. Oh yes, he was so tired from the hard work he had done.
”Anyway, we kissed. Gah, it was so hard for me to come back here. Damn curfew.” she made a face. ”Where is Mittens?”
Ollie loved her best friend and all she ever wanted was Parker's happiness. The girl was going to do great things and Ollie wouldn't be surprised if one day she'd be the biggest badass and Ollie would be just a healer, wanting to save lives. Sometimes she wondered what would happen when they graduate. Would they still be best friends then? Would Parker still come hang out, snuggle with her on a bed and play with the cats?
Parker told her everything and Ollie just looked at her with her big blue eyes. "Oh like a picnic? Gabriel did that for me too." boys were into that? Maybe they discussed it? "The cat loves you." She said and smiled a bit before looking around by the mentioning of mittens. Where was she?
"I don't know! Maybe she went to the kitchens again. I swear the elves feed her a lot of food because she is a fatty." Ollie laughed a bit. The girl grabbed a blanket and covered them both up with it before cuddling up to Parker.

Parker had no idea how she managed to get Oscar back without trying, but this was something she wasn’t going to bring up to her boyfriend. She knew they were both in the wrong, and sure - they needed to make things better. The dance was the start of the beginning, and she would love to kiss her boyfriend right now. But instead, she was going to have a cuddle fest with her best friend, and eat something salty because Parker was hungry. Mittens wasn’t the only one that loves to go to the kitchens. There was a goofy smile on her face as she had wrapped an arm around Ollie with a low hum.
”I need to find the perfect dress for the dance. But that’s a problem for another day. My brother’s and sister’s aren’t going to be happy. They’re the reason things went to shit.” she said with a small smile as she watched Jack move up and lie on the both of them. At least he wasn’t a fatty like his friend.
”I do wanna dance with you though.” she said and grinned.
Ollie cuddled up to Parker, her hand moving to pet little Jack. Mittens was much softer but Jack wasn't fat and heavy which was a bonus she figured and smiled a bit at the thought of the dance. Gabriel asked her to be his date and of course she said yes, she was honored and Christmas was her favorite season after all. Ollie ran a hand through her hair and thought about the dance for a moment before Parker mentioned the dresses and her siblings. Oh yes siblings never really liked whoever people were dating, that was a general fact.
Ollie nodded and thought about it for a moment. "They probably want to protect you. I mean my brother does it all the time too. He just pops up and whenever someone upsets me he will protect me and we both know David isn't much of a fighter." she sighed. "I don't get it, why can't our siblings let us do what we think is right?"
Ollie wasn't stupid, she knew they were protecting her from making mistakes but sometimes people had to do just that, make mistakes, take risks. "Of course were are going to dance silly! This is the perfect reason for us to dance together." she said and bumped Parker's shoulder before resting her head on it. Maybe she should take some risk at the dance too.
"Can you help pick my dress? Something not.. safe?" she asked and bit her lip.
”Because our siblings don’t want us to grow up. I swear, Oswald and Ariella still see me as a kid. They’re protective even though Ozzy doesn’t show it often, I know he loves and cares about my heart. Why do you think he hates Oscar so much after the breakup?” Parker stated as she heard Jack purr, causing the female to smile a bit. He was the perfect gift from her family, and even though he can be an asshole at times (most cats are), she would do anything for this feline.
There was a smile on Parker’s face as she listened to her friend speaks of the dance, and asking her to help her with the dress. ”I’d be honored. I can even do your makeup too if you’d like.” she offered with a huge smile.
