With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Rebekah needed some herbal tea to stop her morning sickness. She thought it would be done by now but apparently not, it didn't come as often as it once had but it did come every now and then and according to the school healers it was normal. She didn't understand how it was normal but it was. As she walked into the establishment she ordered her tea and waited. The blue haired girl needed to get her life in check but it was kind of hard when she was doing this all by herself. If her mother was here she'd know how to handle things but she wasn't and Rebekah was left dealing with this foreign feeling alone. Her tea was given to her and she took it to go and that was fine by her, she didn't want to be here more then she needed to be, she wanted to be in bed with a nice book. Taking her to-go tea she walked outside and made it a few steps before colliding with a chest. Thankfully her tea didn't fall from her hand.
"I'm so sorry" she looked up and she stood there shocked when she saw who it was. Oh no. "Shit" she said.

Often Tobias forgot why he came somewhere in the first place. To his defense it was not like he had to be somewhere. He definitely didn’t mind having to charm an old lady into buying him a sandwich and something to dink. Old people were the best. The lady didn’t even expect something in return and just wanted to have someone to talk to. She was actually quite nice and had interesting stories. Had his grandpa still been around she’d make an amazing step grandma. Toby enjoyed the cake and chat a little too much for just an excuse for food. Perhaps if he had gone to muggle school, he could’ve ended up working in nursing homes. Pouring their tea and listening to their stories actually sounded like a good job.
She had left and he was back at wandering the streets. As he had nothing to do, Tobias resulted in looking into shops and inns when he passed the windows. The young man was minding his own business when someone bumped into him. “Ow,” he chuckled and rubbed his chest. “That’s quite alright.” His eyes fell upon the person who had bumped into him and met a familiar face lined with blue hair. The last time they met he was a lot less sober and could barely recall anything from said day. He blinked when he heard a curse word leaving her mouth. “Is something wrong?” He asked, clueless. @rebekah,

Rebekah heard briefly him say that it was okay and it took a few moments for her to process what he was saying. She honestly couldn't believe that this was happening, it was one thing being pregnant but another actually coming face to face with the father of her unborn child. The blue haired girl began to hyperventilate when it came to actually fully processing that she was face to face with him, she simply nodded before walking to a bench and taking a seat. "It's nothing" she barely got out those words. Rebekah's shaky hand brought the tea to her lips and she took a small sip before getting her breathing under control. It may have taken a few minutes to do but she had finally managed to do it.

Had he been messed up on narcotics he probably would have believed her words. Now however he was very aware of Becky’s body language which was everything but okay. “No it isn’t,” he said, taking a step back to give her some space. Tobias decided to wait with talking more until she was a bit calmer. Meanwhile he kept a close eye on her because it’d be bad if something happened. “Hey eh.. If this is about me falling asleep right after, you know that one time. I was pretty fucked up on drugs and booze. Heck I don’t even remember half of that day.” He assumed they had fun because they lasted for quite a while and did extra rounds. Heck if you picked a crazy location like the shack to do it in, it was bound to be exciting. “And don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone because I can see it can be damaging for your reputation to well… Be with someone like me.” Heck who would even believe him?

Rebekah just looked at him with her brown eyes, was he serious? Was he literally thinking that she was upset that he fell asleep after they did their rounds of sex then he was insane. The blue haired girl just seriously let him continue as she started at him like he was nuts. Rebekah stood up from the bench she had taken a seat on and placed her tea on the bench and stood in front of him. "First things first, I am not angry that you fell asleep after our time together, literally after you fell asleep I ended up leaving and going back to Hogwarts" Rebekah clarified this right up for him. Rebekah rolled her eyes when he brought up about what he was. "Also this has nothing to do with you being who you are, I honestly never really had a reputation to begin with for someone to ruin it. But now that I am face to face with you, this is a good time as any" Rebekah took a deep breath before looking Tobias in the eyes.
"When we slept together you knew I was a virgin and that our time together was my first ever true experience, well Tobias something definitely did happen that night" Bekah started off before taking another breath and continuing, she just wanted to out and say it. "Tobias I am four months pregnant with your baby" there was he confession. Rebekah unzipped her jacket to show her growing baby bump before grabbing her hot tea and sitting back down on the bench waiting to see what happened next.
The young wolf blinked as the Hogwarts student got up. Tobias was slightly confused. In his head thousands of questioned roamed. If she wasn’t ashamed of him then why such a reaction? He didn’t interrupt her and listened instead. She’d left right after it seemed. Made sense on why he woke up alone, wondering if those scraps of memories happened or if he dreamed them. Apparently they were very true. When brown met green, Tobias swallowed. What was this heavy feeling.
“Like I said; I don’t remember much of that evening but I believe you one hundred precent,” he replied to her explanation. Tobias never minded a good round of shagging with someone actually of his age. The old ladies and men he had for money just didn’t do it for him. So even if some would argue one shouldn’t bed a person who was beyond reason on ‘resources’, he doubted Rebekah even notice. Because well, he was almost 24/7 high, just sometimes slightly more sober than other times. He wouldn’t have minded the sex when sober so he didn’t mind it happened.
Hold up. More and more red flags popped up here. Virgin. Oh no. The only thing that was terrible about being messed up beyond reason on drugs was that he probably didn’t consider a simple charm that had saved his ass many times before. He doubted a virgin would even know it existed. At this point he could already feel which bomb was going to be dropped. The curly haired male sighed and prepared himself. And there it was. “Four months?! Wait of course four months. Why am I surprised about that?” He shook his head and sighed to himself. This was bound to happen one day. He only blamed himself, had he been able to control himself with the drugs intake this probably wouldn’t have happened.
“I’m sorry. Uhm, so… What do you want to do? There is still time to get an abortion. If you want I can go with you,” he suggested calmly. Considering her situation that was probably the best. Raising a child and studying had to be hard to combine. Tobias knew several girls who had done it, he even went with some of them as support because the father refused to. And he wasn't going to be one of those men.

Rebekah watched all the emotions that fell on his face. She knew that this conversation was going to happen one day, she just didn't think it would be now? But then again when was a good time to tell the father of your unborn child that he was going to be a father. Now Rebekah and Tobias weren't a couple and she didn't expect them to be either since it wasn't something that two people expecting a baby should do. When he was shocked about four months being pregnant, she simply nodded her head. "Yes, four months" she replied simply from her seat on the bench. She knew that she wouldn't be able to keep herself steady with how nervous she is.
When the words abortion and go with you came up in his sentence, she simply just glared at him a bit. She got up and stood face to face with him. "Are you insane?! I cannot kill this baby nor do I want to. Yes I am only seventeen and still in school but this is a human being that I refuse to kick to the curb like it's nothing. Yes it hasn't fully developed yet but every time I see this baby on a screen or hear the beat of it's heart it brings a smile on my face, I will not become those other mothers who try to run from a situation that they've put themselves in. I will not run from this, yes I slept with you multiple times that night and this baby may be unexpected but I am prepared to face this situation" Rebekah explained to Tobias.

Tobias had been willing to talk this through peacefully and figure out how to go with this situation from here. However the reaction he got was uncalled for. “Those other mothers?” She really ticked a wrong nerve within the young wolf. Tobias was about the most easy going person there was but stuff like this pissed him off. “It’s not cool of you to attack other women who had to go through that. Do you think it was easy for them to make that decision? What makes you even think they put themselves in that situation? Some women get pregnant from men who force themselves upon them. And even if the sex was mutually wanted accidents happen. Some women chose that now is not the right time for the baby to come into this world,” he started and ran a hand through his hair in frustration.
“Do you wager adoption? Think about the situation this baby will be born into. Their mother is only a student who cannot provide for herself. Their dad is a bloody junk, unable to get a fucking job because the Ministry has decided that werewolves are bad. The country is at war. The baby will surely get bullied because of the bloody pathetic parents he or she has. Is this really the situation you want to raise a child in?” Tobias loved children and didn’t want anything more than have a happy family of his own some day. But right now the way he was, he’d make an awful father. Heck he wouldn’t even dare to think someone would consider dating him. It was not that he was trying to run away from responsibilities, Tobias simply didn't know what he could offer and it made him feel like an awful person.
Rebekah was a little stunned that he came at her like this. She honestly didn't think that he would get as defensive as he did but she was definitely wrong. When Tobias was finished talking about those other woman who were either forced or were willingly having sex with men alike. "Okay don't get me wrong I know everyone woman has a right to decide forced to have sex or not, but they're taking away the choice of an innocent baby. If they don't want to keep it then fine, but don't kill the baby because they can't or don't want to be a mother, like they can give birth and have it get adopted by a loving family, there are other woman who cannot have children and who want children and then here are other females who can have babies and are killing innocent lives because they either screwed up or were forced. All I'm saying is that every unborn child should have a choice in life and if I take my baby's choice away then I am becoming everything I stand against" Bekah simply defended herself, she wanted her baby to make their own choice when they were old enough and her baby couldn't do that if she killed it.
Rebekah looked at Tobias as he practically bared his soul about how he felt and how he didn't want their child to get bullied because of their decision. "Believe me when I say this, there will come a day when this baby is going to ask me how they were conceived and I will gladly tell them and let them know that even though I was naïve and stupid on one night of my life that I stepped up to the plate and I carried and pushed out a gorgeous human being and even if I have to work two jobs just to let this baby have a great up bringing with love and support then I'll know that I did a good job and they'll know that I never gave up when the going got tough. Now I'm not asking for anything Tobias, I'm not asking for money and I'm not asking for you to be there with me through this child's upbringing, but I am asking you to respect my decision on keeping this baby. I may be seventeen and in school, but I will gladly always be there for this baby even if it kills me. I refuse to be like those people who hate children and don't want to acknowledge that there is a child under their roof. Like I said I'm not going to force you to stay here and do this with me and I am sorry that your genes are stopping you from getting a good paying job but I hope that if you decide that you don't want to be here for this baby, I hope that when the day comes and he or she come looking for you that you don't shun them away" Rebekah sighed, she would hate to have to listen to her child cry if that day happens and comes.

Tobias didn’t feel like having this argument right now. He wasn’t a woman so what value did his voice even in such matters? What he did know was that he wanted to stand up for his friend who had to make the decision not so long ago. “It’s not a baby yet it’s just a cluster of cells. Some women have abortions because their body cannot handle the pregnancy, they might die if they don’t get one. Why do women get reduced to nothing but incubator by the time they get pregnant. Do you even have any idea how difficult the adoption process is in this country? Did you live in an orphanage of unwanted children? Because I did. I lived there after my loving mother threw me on the streets because I wasn’t the son she thought she’d have. In the orphanage there were enough human children, wonderful children, forgotten by the world. This world isn’t as wonderful as we’re told to believe,” he shook his head, trying his best to calm down. “All I’m asking is: don’t act like you’re better than the women who did decide to have an abortion. Don’t accuse them of killing a baby, the progress is hard enough as it is. Do what you think is best for you but don’t force other women to do the same.” Tobias decided to leave it at that.
He was stressed, his body was aching for a shot that’d make him forget all this. If there was anything he’d ever wanted it was to have a warm family of his own some day. Too bad for him this was real life and this was all it had to offer. This all left him with a heavy feeling. He didn’t know what he should do. He felt bad for the kid already, growing up in such a messed up environment. “Bold of you to assume I’ll still be alive by that time,” he scoffed and shook his head. If it kept going on like this, he’d either be killed by the ministry or OD within ten years. This wasn’t life. If he slipped up with his golden safe sex routine, how long before his wolf killed someone? If that hadn’t occurred already.
This wasn’t something he could just make a decision on in a few minutes. The shock was still there. “Anything else?” If she didn’t mind he’d get back on this later.

Rebekah listened when Tobias talked about his past life and how her body was made up of cells and it wasn't an actual baby yet. The blue haired girl couldn't believe she was actually having this conversation right now, she knew eventually she'd run into him and tell him what was happening inside her body but the fact that he was being a dick about it was making her not want him around her or the baby. "Believe me I know about how this isn't a baby as of yet but the fact that you're telling me about how your own mother gave you up just makes me want to step up to the plate even more. I am not someone who is going to abandon my baby nor cells in your case because I have a future in front of me. Yes I will continue to have one with raising a baby and for your information Tobias, my parents were killed when my twin and I were young and my aunt could careless what is happening to me so yes I know what it's like to be abandoned and forgotten about and I refuse to let myself do that to my baby!" Rebekah was getting angry and she knew she needed to calm down.
Rebekah looked at him and her brown eyes felt the water growing around them but she refused to cry over this. She knew she couldn't force him to be around and she didn't expect him to but the fact that he didn't understand that this isn't about him anymore just made her want to just stuff her face with food. "Well then if you're going to be dead in ten years then just don't be in this kid's life then, I am not going to force you to be there and I will make sure this kid doesn't go looking for you either, I get it I really do" Rebekah nodded and threw her cold tea out and when he asked anything else Rebekah just shook her head.
"Yeah, drunk or not put on some protection, don't want another girl getting screwed in the end" Rebekah knew it was harsh but she wanted to just eat food and sleep, maybe cry later but she mostly just wanted to get away from Tobias. She turned around to leave.

Tobias made a mental note to be more careful who to sleep with and how many alcohol and drugs to take before the act in the future. These kinds of mistakes hadn’t happened before but if he kept going on this way it would happen again. He felt like he committed a horrible crime. Having a child forced to live in this world was a scary thought. Especially with the way the mother was acting, this girl seemed to have an extreme set of thoughts. Hopefully it’d be a boy so the mother couldn’t push her crazy ideas on women on to a poor girl. The child would be lonely because there’d be no grandparents and the mother would have to work a lot. Tobias wanted to ask if that really was the life she had in mind for her child. However at this point words failed him.
“The kid is probably happier without knowing,” he mumbled. What child would be proud to call him their father? Tobias would say he hadn’t failed to put on the protection other times but he didn’t want to have that discussion. The responsibility came from both sides anyways. She did as little to prevent this as he. “I can’t imagine losing my virginity to some homeless junk instead of someone I actually love and who loves me back,” he mumbled and then sighed. Oh wait, his first time was even worse than that. “Take care,” he told her because what else was there to say?
