With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Mia’s first year had been going perfectly well for her, and she had found herself studying more and more. Even though first years didn’t have to worry entirely, she wanted to be ahead in her class. So, she had found herself in the library checking out books for some of the subjects she was studying, and wished she can go into the restricted section of the library, but she didn’t want to get caught by a professor for doing so. Besides, you needed a written note to get in there, and she didn’t want to get into trouble, despite Trouble being her middle name. Or so she claimed.
Mia had spent about a half hour in the library, trying to find a certain book and had found it, but the problem was; it was on the top shelf. Sure, she can use magic, but last time she did so, she had managed to get than one book off the shelf which she didn’t want that day.
A sigh escaped her as she looked both ways before stepping up onto the chair, her hand reaching out in front of her, only to feel the chair jerk and she stumbled over, landing down onto the floor. The girl can hear laughter nearby, and she had thrown a glare toward the three boys who were watching with smirks on their faces.

Studying was one of the few things that felt normal these days. In a world where everything felt strange, studying did not. Studying was where Rose fell back into her comfort zone. Rose walked into the library like the queen she felt she was and made her way to the the area where she thought would be the right book for her homework. The redhead spotted Mia and a bunch of boys laughing at her.
Rose sighed and walked over to Mia. "Do you boys have a problem? I can give you a problem." she said and placed her hands on her hips as she glared them down. Once they looked away she turned her attention to her classmate. "Don't try to be bothered by them, they're just boys." she said and looked up at the book from the self.
Rose took out her wand and slowly levitated the book Mia needed off the shelf and onto the table. "They're digusting aren't they?"
Mia would deny over and over again that she didn’t like boys, and some people would believe her. But others would say she did as she had a friend group that had a bunch of them. So, people would see her as a lying child, and in a way, she was. The only thing she won’t admit is her having a crush on Declan Tyrell because she didn’t. He was an idiot, and another stupid boy she wanted to avoid. Those boys laughing at her had another thing coming, making her want to hex them but it was then Rose had jumped in.
The female had stood up when Rose had apparently scared the boys, and they had wandered off as if she kicked their puppy. The female looked at the floor as she thought about how embarrassing it was to be bullied by a group of dumb boys.
”Boys? Oh, yes. And they’re stupid too.” she said, grabbing the book off the table with a tiny smile. ”Thank you.”
